SPONSORED BY THINK FREE BE FREE COACHING & CONSULTING, LLC-Inspired by Live Skilled Live Fulfilled video series' "The Bystander Effect", hosted by Joseph Ward--tonight's discussion focuses on two articles: one that tells of singer Elton John's decision to boycott posh fashion designers Dolce & Gabbana in reaction to inflammatory comments they made about same-sex parents and children who are born to alternative methods--(in-vitro, surogacy, etc.). The other article focuses on the brutal beating of a 15-yr-old girl in a McDonald's in Brooklyn, NY...in which the brutal gang-beating was captured by a myriad of video-recording bystanders who did nothing to stop the fight or help the injured teen. Join us tonight as we talk with guest speaker Joseph Ward live in the studio on the effects of the Bystander Effect on Black America and society on a whole. John Carosella hosts Convergence, a journey into shamanism, science, and mysticism, exploring our beautiful world. Making the mystical accessible to the scientific-minded, and bringing the language of science to the Mystery, John brings provocative, new perspectives to living, learning, healing, and discovery.
This month, John engages the topic of being a warrior - and being yourself. We start with a roundtable conversation with John's co-hosts Mildred Lynn McDonald and HiC Luttmers on "What does it mean to be a warrior, and can you be one without waging war and experiencing violence?" Then, in Exploring Reality, John shares what he learned through a challenging conversation with Mars, the Roman God of War. Things take a lighter turn with gentle Reflection on the nature of being here on Earth, in this magnificent garden, and then to an examination of "Skunk Medicine". Yes, it all makes sense -- but it's John's birthday today, so even if it doesn't, let's just humor him...and have a little birthday cake on us!

The most famous words of John the Baptist are "He was become greater, I must become less, (John 3:30). How can we in these days become less when life seems to be more complcated then ever before. A hateful world sometimes pushes us to do things that we are not aware that we are doing. It takes a strong attitude to endure all the hate and anger the world wants to throw at us- the people of God. Letting people's hate pass by us and not reacting to it is best. How we do this is remembering who we are. These days calls for our minds to have a new attitude in Christ Jesus.
Suspense Radio in partnered with Partners In Crime tours.net is pleased to have author John Lansing on the show today to talk about his latest book "The Test".
Suspense Radio opens up the airwaves to each author that is on tour with Partners in Crime to bring them here as a tour stop.
John Lansing "The Test": A coming-of-age story set in 1950s, small-town Long Island, at time when suburban America is about to undergo seismic societal changes. With this backdrop, a teenage boy falls in love with one of the town's few black girls, a relationship that has repercussions leading to permanent transformations for the couple--and for the town.
"And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offense of the cross ceased." (Galatians 5:11)
The early ministers and preachers were declaring that the Cross was the very CENTER of religion, the SECRET of government, and the INSPIRATION of culture. You and I are called to represent that Cross in word and life, and if we fail to do it, we are failing in loyalty to our Lord and Master.
Men are afraid of God because of wrong concepts. Let a man meet God in Jesus and he will love God.
Old things are passed away. That is the power of the cross. All things are become new. That is the power of being raised in newness of life in Him, (Romans 6:4).
