How does music therapy work?
Music therapy is facilitated through a variety of interventions including patient song choices, music making, song writing, improvisation, and guided relaxation. Other times, the music therapist works alongside other healthcare disciplines such as nurses, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist, using music during physical rehabilitation to inspire movement and promote encouragement by accompanying movement through musical cues, which also helps peoople become distracted from the pain. On this episode of Carson's Corner with the Election Boycott Advocates, we welcome our old friend Harry Cason, member/supporter of the Zeitgeist Movement, college professor and author, to the show. Harry will defend the Zeitgeist Movement from any and all non-traditional leftist criticisms. During the course of this debate/discussion, you can bet that we will touch upon so many of the key issues that face working class Americans each day.
Presidential election coverage, focusing on Bernie Sanders entering the race. Talking about implications on candidates and the race at large.
Sanders represents the first noteworthy candidate to challenge Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary.
On May 5, 2015, Alberta heads to the polls in the most anticipated "unnecessary" election in more than a generation. In 110 years, only four political parties have formed Government in the province. So far every party that has lost power has virtually disappeared from the map.
Considering this election was not necessary until 2016, Jim Prentice might be reconsidering a bit now. The PC's are in third place after 44 years in power. The New Democrats and the supposed dead Wildrose sit atop polling as they have from the outset of the campaign. There is a much different tone in the air this time around. No more coronations. It's looking like no more same old. General consensus is the higher the turnout, the bigger the loss for Prentice will be.
We will look at the leaders of the five parties involved. We will look at any major policy goals of each. We will look at the one and only televised debate performances and effects of same. And we will look at the gaffes, leaks, mistakes, feuds, attacks and punditry of the campaign. It is not being discussed openly in media but the results in Alberta could be very influential as Canada heads towards a federal election this October at the latest. Jim Prentice and Brian Jean are both former MP's in Harper's CPC with Prentice far and away having the better of Jean on that score. So what would it tell Canada if the NDP formed government in Alberta of all places, over Emperor's messengers?
Calls welcome, especially from Albertans! Join us for some insight into the seemingly ending conservative heartland.
Whether it is the murder of innocent black men committed by the forces of occupation, known as the police, or free trade agreements that will make almost everyone poorer, the working class here and abroad continued to be besieged by the ruling class and their economic system. We here at the Election Boycott Advocates have said "enough is enough", as we urge non-compliance on all fronts. Join us for another important discussion on the issues that face the working class from a radical leftist perspective.
