    Green Egg Radio w/Christopher Blackwell

    in Spirituality

Christopher Blackwell has been a solitary Wiccan for thirty years, and currently lives in New Mexico. He began following AREN around 2000, shortly after it changed names from the Witches Anti-Discrimination League (WADL) to the Alternative Religions Educational Network (AREN). The organization was formed in the 1970s by Leo Martello and, for many years, worked for the protection of religious rights. However, the organization had to be dissolved after the Anti-Defamation League threatened a lawsuit over use of the name. Shortly after, AREN was born.

The Other Shoe... Ready To Drop!

    in Television

Careful where you walk, and make sure to look up. Because all around the daytime dial, there are shoes, suspended up in the air, just waiting to drop on the unsuspecting folks below. THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS' Chelsea seems ready to get together with Gabriel… whom she doesn't know is actually Adam! On THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, practically everyone at Forrester knows Maya’s secret, which means it’s increasingly likely that someone aside from the beauty will be the one to tell Rick! GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Liz is having a hunky-dory time — emphasis on the hunky — with Jake, but we all know that house of cards she’s constructed is going to fall down sooner or later! And DAYS OF OUR LIVES’ Marlena has put herself right at the top of Stefano’s list... and it ain’t his Christmas card list, either! Tonight, we'll talk about all this and more as Richard M. Simms, executive editor of Soaps in Depth, takes your calls to talk all things soap!

Episode 89 - Actor Character Resumes and Breaking Bones

    in Entertainment

Today we will discuss which actors have the best resumes. For example playing Darth Vader is a bigger deal than playing the lead in a movie that no one knows.  If you can't remember the character's name, it probably isn't a big role.  Johnny Depp, Sam Jackson, Harrison Ford, Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, and others will be discussed and debated.  Who has the best character resume? We will also discuss how one of us broke bones yesterday.  We may even throw in some other stuff like eating burritos and smelling flowers.

The Lundyn Brown Show Episode: Marriage Soup for the Soul Part II

    in Culture

"I think the biggest issue in marriage is boundary problems. Spouses so often try to change the other in the name of helpfulness. The truth is the only person you can change is you. You married them the way they are. If they're a slob, they probably were since childhood. The best you're going to do is change your response."

    — Gina Holmes, author of Wings of Glass, March 2013
