Late September in Baltimore at the EdNET 2014 conference, hundreds of the education industry’s movers and shakers spent two days discussing trends, opportunites, and challenges that everyone who sells to schools is facing. This show is the first of a four-part series, the EdNET Insider. During program #1 host Glen McCandless and Saul Hafenbredl of C Blohm and Associates get the inside scoop from leaders who are shaping the school market right now. You’ll hear industry veterans Randy Wilhelm, Lee Wilson, Dan Caton, and George Warren provide valuable perspectives and sage advice for a big trend that caused a stir at EdNET – one that is affecting everyone: Open Educational Resources (OER) – that's free stuff being offered to schools. Make no mistake, competing with free products and services is a reality, and having a sales and marketing strategy in response to this trend is essential for your survival. Listen up!
In this episode of EGUA - Marketplace we examine our PTAH SASETEM curriculum.
PTAH Sasetem is a curriculum created for adults who are of Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) heritage to utilize in the education of themselves, their peers and in the instruction of Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit children and young adults. PTAH Sasetem is a seven-tiered structure rooted in the Ancestral order of Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit culture. This structure is detailed in the PTAH Sasetem Nhoma (book) and our related Adesua (training workshops).
The consciousness and behavior of Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit children, young adults and adults is awakened and transformed through the principles and values conveyed through the seven tiers within PTAH Sasetem.
The principles and values of PTAH Sasetem have been used to positively re-orient Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit children, young adults and adults in prevention and intervention settings, classrooms, after-school programs, day-care and home-school programs, adult and youth "rites of passage" programs and various Mentu Ra (mentor) relationships. As Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit adults, only we can ground ourselves and our Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit youth and peers in our shared Ancestral legacy. It is imperative that we engage a process rooted in our Ancestral culture for our total development, sustenance, sovereignty and security.

Psychic World of Clairvoyant Visions with Co-host and Psychic John G. Sutton: Precognitive Visions. John G. Sutton looks at the nature of precognitive visions of the future that ultimately transpire into reality. At times dreams show us a vivid images of events that are to be and there are numerous anecdotal accounts of people dreaming the winners of horse races. Another form of precognitive vision is the sudden illuminating insight, as if one is transported through time and space to a different place. The problem is how to deal with instantaneous visions of tomorrow, what does one do, John says the answer is keep a diary. With dreams that is simple just write down that which you recall as soon as you wake and do it quickly as the memory fades fast. There is a mystery to precognition that involves what Einstein termed the Time and Space Continuum, for time is not as we on Earth perceive it to be. Time is not an arrow shot forward in a straight line, we do not really know what time is we do however know that we do not know, as a man said.
