October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, celebrated beginning 1981. No Tea will be having a SOLUTION-FOCUSED discussion on this very important topic; education; warning signs; different types of abuse; resources; and seeking solutions.
We encourage calls from anyone, whether you are experts in the field, a survivor, or a person in a current situation of violence. Due to the potentially dangerous nature of this topic, if you are a caller in need of help, KNOW AND TRUST that you can call and BE ANONYMOUS! Please call, as we want to help. You are stronger than you know and people are here to help you and your family to get out safely. Again, anyone calling has the right to remain and anonymous. THIS IS A SAFE ENVIRONMENT AT ALL TIMES! National Domestic Violence Hotline Number 1-800-799-SAFE (7233)
The show will begin with news at 7:00 p.m., on which you are more than welcome to listen in, and the topic will begin at 7:30 p.m. sharp. Please be aware that Cryss is also on the chat line during the live show. Go to the website www.blogtalkradio.com/no-teawihchritaandcryss and talk to me.
Join Fantastic Frank as he explores the topic of "people who drive you crazy!" Ever have people in your life who make committments you're relying on, and then they don't follow through? Instead of taking responsibility for promises they've made, they make excuses .. Such as "It's your imagination", when they clearly made a committment (not a maybe) and then reneged?!
Are you having any such challenges in YOUR life? They say we can't do it alone, but what do we do, if the people who say they'll help us, don't get off the bench and follow through? Frank will be talking about his recent challenges along this line, and would love to have you chime in with challengs you've been facing .. And the best ways to deal constructively with the fall out.
