We've heard of martial arts schools or other service relate businesses with questionable business practices such as aggressive upselling, high fees, not cancelling automatic billing, etc. But what about scams directed AT the school owners themselves? Many small schools and even larger studios have received suspicious inquiries about classes, some actually losing some money to the scammers. Many of these are "chargeback scams", where the studio gives out refunds or doles out cash from a supposed prepayment, only to realize the credit card or check transaction bounces, and the studio is out a sum of dollar. Dont let this happen to you.
NWP welcomes the legend and the man, Charlie Daniels!
From his Dove Award winning gospel albums to his genre-defining Southern rock anthems and his CMA Award-winning country hits, few artists have left a more indelible mark on America’s musical landscape than Charlie Daniels. An outspoken patriot, beloved mentor to young artists and still a road warrior at age 76, Charlie has parlayed his passion for music into a multi-platinum career and a platform to support the military, underprivileged children and others in need. Raised among the longleaf pines of North Carolina, Charlie began his career playing bluegrass music with the Misty Mountain Boys
Each year Charlie also hosts The Charlie Daniels Celebrity Golf Classic & Angelus Concert in Hudson, FL, a benefit for The Angelus, a full-time residential facility and day school program for the severely handicapped. Charlie is also a member of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Professional Advisory Board and has been a longtime supporter of the T. J. Martell Foundation and its numerous events aiding cancer research. He’s also the headliner every year for the Christmas 4 Kids concert at the Ryman Auditorium, which raises money to provide a happy holiday for needy children. “I have a very unique opportunity because of being in the music community,” Charlie says of using his celebrity status to aid worthy causes. “You try to give back to some extent. I do feel like people should. We should all do as much as we can.” http://www.charliedaniels.com

Last year the world kind of forgot about Europe. After ECB head Mario Draghi vowed to “do whatever it takes” to get the Continent growing, the markets calmed down, money got cheap and plentiful and functionally-bankrupt countries like Greece, Italy and Spain stopped making scary headlines. To the casual observer it began to look like the euro project might actually succeed.
Then the mirage evaporated. Five years into a recovery that should, if it followed the normal script, be in danger of overheating, the major eurozone countries are actually slipping back into recession. Germany and Italy clocked in with -0.2% GDP growth in the second quarter, while France was exactly zero. For countries that continue to pile new debt on top of already unsustainable mountains of old debt, zero growth isn’t stasis, it’s death. And the media is starting to catch on. The following headlines appeared in the DollarCollapse.com breaking news links list in just the past two days:
When a close examination of the state of blacks in America is conducted, there is one common denominator that lies at the core of all of the symptoms that plague us as a people — economic impotence. Without economic empowerment, we will never have political influence, social protection or equal footing. We will never be able to compete without the minimal requirements participate in the competition.
One of the greatest failures of blacks has been the inability to unite to create a community infrastructure that is institutional — meaning that is can be perpetuated beyond the lifespan of the current leadership. Through group economics, blacks would be able to generate PACS and Super-PAKS to supply political muscle to a political machine that currently moves against us.
On this episode of Real Talk with Rick and J. Rich, we will be discussing the costs of not developing an institutional community infrastructure that is based on group economics. We will also discuss the ways that this can be accomplish. You don’t want to miss this episode. Tune in to become a part of change.
