James W. Dowe, Jr. was born in the Bronx, New York on June 7, 1948. Dowe is the second eldest child of Walter James and Lillian Dowe. He has an elder sister, two younger sisters and a younger brother.
The family lived in the Edenwald Houses in the northeast section of the Bronx. Dowe and his siblings formed a gospel group called the Dowe Singers. Later, they were joined by another gospel group, the Douglas Singers and became known as the Dowe-Douglas Singers.
During his years at Evander High School in the Bronx, New York, singing baritone lead vocals, Dowe and some of his school mates formed an R&B singing group, performing at local gigs. The personnel of the group continually changed; but, Dowe felt compelled to record his music and build a career in show business.
Dowe abandoned his music to pursue a career more befitting a husband and father as a New York City Firefighter. He and his late wife, Susan, had four children, a son, James W. Dowe, III, and three daughters, Adrienne, Joy and Monica, respectively. Having served the NYC Firefighters with distinction, he decided to retire and relocate with his family to North Carolina where he and his wife were called to ministry.
In 2004, Dowe lost his beloved wife to breast cancer. He was by her side as her caregiver and as he refers to it, “servant,” throughout her five years of struggle with this devastating disease.

Captain Hugh T Alkemi and Shelley will speak dynamically about things such as cannabis and plant medicines for healing and health. Callers and questions are welcome during the live show.
SHELLEY WHITE works as a writer and editor, and is studying to be an herbalist specializing in Lyme disease and other infectious diseases. Shelley is the author of 'Cannabis for Lyme Disease and Related Conditions: Scientific Basis and Anecdotal Evidence for Medicinal Use,' and is a regular contributor to sites such as Collective Evolution and The Mind Unleashed. She has written for various other sources as well, including SKUNK Magazine, Mind Body Green, and Natural News. The topics she most frequently covers include cannabis, psychedelics, pharmaceuticals, infectious diseases, alternative health, and consciousness.
Her favorite pastimes are reading, learning, and spending time in nature. She is fascinated by plant medicine and plant consciousness. She credits her drive to continuously learn and connect with plants to her experience with Lyme disease, which taught her the importance of herbal medicine and expanding her mind. She firmly believes that, in the end, you are your own physician and the only one capable of fully healing yourself.

Join us at the Campfire for a few sea tales....
Some Nautical Tales covers the adventures and experiences of Captain Wilbur H. Vantine, as he worked his way up from Ordinary Seaman and sailed as Ship Master on tramo freighters in the United States Merchant Marine. Along the way he was able to “see the world” at a very interesting time in world affairs. During WWII, he served on two ships in the war zones of the southwest Pacific and on another in the North Atlantic to the United Kingdom. He obtained his first command in 1951 at age twenty-six. While sailing as Ship Master, he did difficult navigation among icebergs in the far north; had his ship breaking up and losing three of its four lifeboats in a “super” storm, was confined with his crew on a Liberty ship, in ballast, during a winter-time crossing of the North Atlantic, with a killer virus on board, sailed to Korea before, during and after the Korean War, took action to minimize damage from an un-avoidable collision and directed actions to separate the two ships which were connected by their anchor chains, made an ocean crossing with growing cracks in the main deck threatening to cause his ship to break-up, steamed transpacific with a cargo of coal undergoing spontaneous combustion, had his ship to boarded and crew attacked by a large and angry mob in Yugoslavia, had a shifting cargo of army tanks threatening to knock out the sides of his ship during a storm, and had unique interaction with both ship and shore personalities. Based on actual experiences. The numerous photographs were taken by the author, except where noted otherwise.

Jeffrey Lin was born with a cruel, hyperactive immune disease with no cure. Literally everything in the world is toxic. There are no safe foods to eat and he constantly struggles to breathe. Every moment the world tears him apart inside and out by intense itching, infections, and swelling. Even his tendons and ligaments react uncontrollably, causing his physiology to be continually twisted.
For 10-years he couldn’t touch water. He’s battered by every weather change. The attacks never eased over 26-years to allow sleep. He has experienced countless mental and emotional problems as well due to unrelenting stress, chronic sleep deprivation, malnutrition, PTSD, and medication side effects.
Despite a world of opposition, he holds a B.S. in Engineering & B.A. in Mathematical Economics from the #1 engineering college, Harvey Mudd. He’s a self-taught stock trader, entrepreneur, video producer, and digital media consultant for Wall St. and Hollywood.

Join Vaccine Rights Attorney Alan Phillips, J.D. (co-host Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, D.O. was traveling and unable to make this evening's show) as he discusses studies documenting vaccine failure; the decline of infectious disease mortality prior to the introduction of vaccines; why bills seeking to restrict religious exemptions are unconstitutional; why bills seeking to eliminate state vaccine religious exemptions may violate state Constitutions; why requiring children to stay home from school during an outbreak may violate parents' federal Constitutional rights; and why a winning legal argument about exclusion of exempt children is likely to lose in court; and more! . Douglas “Ka’iwi” Ah Hee, a Kahu in Hawaii, will be discussing his work in - and philosophy of - healing, and the need for a strong faith. His experiences in “seeing” what was going on with his client’s body, allowed him to recognize how their memories from past events would promote disease. By explaining this to them, he has helped many - not only free their body of pain- but also open up to understanding their own “gifts”.
Kahu Ka’iwi will discuss cases from his own work that describe how releasing these ties to harmful memories helped clients. He helps clients heal physically, emotional, and spiritually – the true healing of ho’ oponopono.
Douglas “Ka`iwi” Ah Hee comes from the windward side of the island of Oahu, Hawai`i. He credits his pure Hawaiian grandmother for his upbringing and “gifts.” She would talk to people that he could not “see.” Growing up as a “sensitive” was never discussed by anyone in his family. Her passing when he was 16, caused much angst, as he did not know how to deal with his seeing, feeling, and sensing “spirits.” It was not until he had his 2 daughters, and they shared with him of what they were “seeing”, that he decided to embrace his “gifts.”
Ka’iwi started The Ho`ola Foundation LLC, which was created to teach individuals, groups and eventually communities to empower themselves. Through Ho`oponopono (to make right; or correct) and Ha`aha`a (humility) one may restore the true La`a kea (Sacred Light) of Aloha within the mind, body and spirit.
Ho'ola - meaning to give life, heal, to cure; Ola - meaningful life, well-being, living.
