From 2009 to 2012 I lived in South Korea as an English teacher. From there, I hoped around Asia a bit and visited Japan and the Philippines. I wrote a book about my time abroad titled, "Eating Kimchi and Nodding Politely." I'd love to talk about my time in Asia or even my recent trip to Colombia.

28 Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.
The Radiant Face of Moses
29 When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord. 30 When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, his face was radiant, and they were afraid to come near him. 31 But Moses called to them; so Aaron and all the leaders of the community came back to him, and he spoke to them. 32 Afterward all the Israelites came near him, and he gave them all the commands the Lord had given him on Mount Sinai.
Host Tabatha Pope welcomes Amanda Heger to THE LIBRARIAN on the Authors on the Air Global Radio Network. Amanda Heger is a writer, attorney, and bookworm. She lives in the Midwest with two unruly rescue dogs and a husband who encourages her delusions of grandeur. She also has massive girl crush on Amy Poehler, and one of her life goals is to adopt a pig named Ron Swineson. Amanda's debut romance, Without Borders, just released from Diversion Books. The story was inspired by the summer Amanda spent in rural Nicaragua, eating gallo pinto, speaking mangled Spanish, and showing high school students how to slide condoms onto over-sized plantains. The second book in the Wanderlove series, Semi-Scripted, is a thinly-veiled love letter to Craig Ferguson and improvisational comedy. It will be available in November of 2016. You can connect with Amanda on Facebook, Twitter, or follow her on Amazon.

We don't subscribe to the idea that you can skip eating food and just take supplements but in some cases certain vitamins need to be supplemented to an already healthy diet. One major concern for vegans is that they don't get B-12 because it comes mostly from meat and dairy. This isn't entirely true, but it isn't entirely true that meat and dairy consumers get enough B-12 either. More than 50% of Americans are B-12 deficient and vegans only make up 2% of the population. Tune in to find out why you may not be getting enough no matter how you eat!
