Today is Thursday, 26 November 2015, Thanksgiving day and we have a lot to be thankful for 2015.We are thankful to our men and women on active duty defending our liberty so that we may have peace at home on this Thanksgiving day. We must also be mindful of the mena and women veterans who are not able to be with family and friends during this day for family or friends. Often our veterans do not complain but many are without food though they may be housed. We are yet thankful for being here to provide our community news and information M-F for the past 2 years.
We are going to address the lifestyle of veterans today to discuss the economic realities of active duty and veterans who are often unable to pay rent and have eough to eat for the entire month. We will look at the the fact that our active duty are often asked to be ready for deployment anywhere in the world but their pay is not such that can withstand the riggors of family life and being ready to hop anywhere on the globe in 18 hours or less.
On this day--Thanksgiving Day--we have lived to see so many changes in the world-changes we would not have thought about ten years ago, but here we are.
God has blessed us to see our children grown and our grandchildren growing.
He has blessed us to have had jobs and careers that made it possible for us to enjoy life and can now enjoy retirement.
He has blessed with good health and sound minds and desire to continue serving Him.
We have been blessed to enjoy living our retirement years in a quiet neighborhood and with good neighbors.
We have been blessed to be a blessing to many and we are yet waiting to see how He will continue to use us for His glory.
We have a roof over our heads, beds to sleep in and food to eat. We have family who love us and friends who care about us.
We are truly grateful because it is only because of The Lord--He has made the difference in our lives and had it not been for Him, we don't know where we would be.
So, we give Him thanks--for all He has done, is doing, and will do in our lives. We give Him praise because He did not give us what we deserved, but loved us enough to shower us with mercy and grace--in spite of us.
What God wants more from us than external trappings of worship and praise is for us to have a heart of gratitude for all we have. When we learn to be thankful for what we have, He'll give us more, but until we show Him we are grateful, we'll have to be content with such as we have--and for many of us--that's enough.

Nutrient timing is a planned alteration of macronutrient intake in order to promote health, workout performance, and get/stay lean.
Nutrient timing strategies are based on how the body handles different types of food at different times. One of the most important nutrient timing principles is that it’s best to eat most non-fruit and veggie carbohydrates during and after exercise.
Many factors influence energy balance, with the laws of thermodynamics being the most important determinants of weight gain and weight loss. Yes, this means how much we eat is priority #1 when changing body composition.
But the key here is “body composition.” If we’re losing equal amounts of fat and muscle when losing weight or gaining equal amounts of fat and muscle when gaining weight, we’re not taking advantage of nutrient timing.
