    Laura is a registered dietician and a bona fide food lover.  She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from Penn State, and completed her dietician internship and nutrition Master's degree program at New York University.  For the past 13 years, Laura has worked with patients of all ages, from all cultures and backgrounds.


    Before moving out of NYC, Laura spent 5 years working for the private practices of Joy Bauer Nutrition and Brown and Medina Nutrition as a nutrtional counselor, and as a clinical dietician at the Hospital for Special Surgery.  Prior to that, she worked for 5 years in the intensive care units as a critical care dietician at Beth Israel Hospital in downtown Manhattan.


    Laura finds no greater pleasure than when she helps a client struggling with their weight management, chronic disease, or ailment.  She relates to her clients and their struggles, and they work together in the most realistic way to improve their lives.

    Steve Hickner has spent over thirty-five years working at some of the most fabled studios in animation; including: DreamWorks, Disney, Amblimation, Aardman, Hanna-Barbera and Filmation.  He has worked on both the production and artistic sides of the process, serving as Producer on such films as:  American Tail II: Fievel Goes West, We’re Back! A Dinosaur’s Story, and Balto.  His director credits include Bee Movie and The Prince of Egypt.   In addition, he has contributed to such feature films as Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, The Little Mermaid, The Great Mouse Detective, Madagascar, Shrek Forever After, Peabody and Sherman and Home.  His television credits include such favorites as He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids. Most recently, he has contributed to location-based entertainment projects in Singapore, Dubai, China, and London.   For Christmas 2014, he was one of the creative leads on DreamPlace; which was placed in shopping malls across the U.S. He has been a guest speaker at many colleges and universities, film festivals and animation He is the author of Animating Your Career, and Animation Rules!     With Straight Outta Compton, Kelli Jones has cemented herself as the go-to Costume Designer for gritty, realistic depictions of television and feature films’ most compelling characters and genres. After getting her start on season two of the critically-acclaimed FX series The Shield, Kelli was tapped to develop the look that sparked a fashion phenomenon with the wildly popular biker gang drama Sons of Anarchy. Through Sons, Kelli not only brought unquestionable sex appeal to the characters, but also garnered a Costume Designer’s Guild nomination in the prestigious “Best Contemporary Costume Design” category. In a true testament to the populatiy of her original looks and style, she even developed a Sons Of Anarchy clothing and jewelry line that is sold directly to fans on the FX Network’s website.     Student Debts, And whats your take on it?

    What do you think about student debt? If your like me, you're sitting pretty high on top of a ginormous mountain of school loans wondering, "How in the hell am I gonna get down?!". I was once told incurring debt for educational purposes was ok and a good thing. However, as the years passed, the loans are due, and the reality is...you're not earning enough money to pay the debt back and meet all of your normal responsibities. Sounds like a set-up to me...the notion of a good job falling into your lap after college is pure myth. The reality is a lot of us have part-time jobs and are struggling to make ends meet.
