There are many times when, as adults, we wish we could have the free-for-all life of a child. There also are times when we want nothing to do with those childhood memories. However, the inner child is always a part of us. No matter what the circumstance, we need to know how to use the information we have to recognize those needs of the inner child and "discipline" them to be used appropriately. On Purpose Talk Radio, Friday, June 26, 3 p.m. PT/noon ET/8 p.m. UK, join Purpose Talk Radio host Cindy Freeman with her guest Rachel Grace to discuss "Discipling Your Inner Child in Three Not-So-Easy Steps." The call in number is 347-205-9074.
Rachel is a born-and-raised country girl from rural upstate New York. Her passion for life has led her to trying on many hats, including realtor, business owner, preschool teacher, singer/songwriter and performer. Her dream is to take her message of divinity out into the world in hopes that each every person that hears it knows the truth of his or her being. She is an active member of her New Thought church and Unity of the Keys in Key West, Florida, mentor for Take Stock In Children Florida. Her most prized title is that of mom. Her children are 10 and 8 years old and her most favorite activity is going to the beach with them and their pit bull Lilly Dookins and playing Mad Libs with her kids. She has been trained in Conscious Discipline, the Montessori Method and, as a formal preschool music teacher, has much compassion and empathy for the child within.
Join Cindy on Fridays live or archived to explore the area of living with purpose. Check out more information at Purpose Talk Radio and join the conversations on Facebook at Purpose Talk Radio Conversations.

Albert Wolsky was born in Paris, France in 1930.His first entree was working as a "gofor" to legendary costume maker Helene Pons during her execution of the Adrian/Tony Duquette designs for the original Broadway production of "CAMELOT". ithin six years, he was designing Broadway productions under his own name and in 1968, he would have his first film credit, "HEART IS A LONELY HUNTER". Bringing the knowlege he learned while working on Broadway, Mr. Wolsky would concentrate his career on the designing of feature films. Over the next three decades he would build a body of work impressive not only by size but by it's addressing every possible film genre with a consistant level of design quality. His easy manner and eye for detail would not only bring him repeat assignments from his colleaugues but earn him the reputation as both Paul Muzarsky's and the late Bob Fosse's costume designer. To date, he has been nominated for the Academy Award five times, winning it twice. He was also honored by The Costume Designer's Guild with their lifetime achievement award. He worked with Bob Fosse, a leading Broadway director, on All That Jazz and won his first Academy Award. He won his second Academy Award for Bugsy in 1991 and has been nominated five other times, most recently for his work on Julie Taymor's Beatles-inspired musical Across the Universe (2007) andSam Mendes's Revolutionary Road (2008) and most recently for Birdman. He is the recipient of the 2010 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award For Costume Design. In 2010, Wolsky donated his costume design sketches to the Margaret Herrick Library at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science. Sales, the final frontier.
Sorry, the phrase, "the final frontier", are the words from the hit, sci-fi show "Star Trek".
Well, you now have a business or maybe you have been practicing your trade for a few years.
The trend over the last 5-10 years has been to move away from connecting with people in face-to-face or telephone conversation in favor of "engaging" them over the Internet.
If you really want to be successful in selling, you can continue using digital platforms but you must realize that sales is a people business. It always has been, and it always will be.
Don't be afraid. You can do it. It's fun.
Try it today.
I wanted to touch on forgiveness. It was touched on last season. We talk so much about forgiveness, but how easy is it really to forgive? Not just forgiving others, but forgiving ourselves which is sometimes the hardest person to forgive. Why does God expect us to forgive ourselves and others and do we have to forgive? What are the benefits of forgiveness, not only for you, but for the other person? Contrary to popular belief, forgiveness is not only for you. Unforgiveness affects God and everyone around us!
How can we forgive? What are some barriers that make it harder to forgive? How long should it take before being able to forgive someone? When does reconciliation come into place and how should it be done? Do you have to still remain in contact with someone whom you have forgiven? Or even someone that you are still trying to forgive? Is that a good or bad idea to stay in touch?
These are a lot of questions that I will search the scriptures for. I have heard many sermons and experiences on this topic and I have had many experiences where I had to forgive someone. I am also in the process of forgiving myself for things I have done towards God, myself, and others. There are times when I wonder if everyone in my life who I have hurt have forgiven me and this troubles me at times.
I just hope someone will be blessed with this hard topic of forgiveness. I hope to bring a different angle and viewpoint on this area that almost seems impossible at times.
Matthew 19:26 "But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."
Matthew 18:21-22 "Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

With recent headlines of Bruce (Caitlyn) Jenner transitioning or processing to outwardly have the appearance of a woman and now Rachel Dolezal, President of the Spokane chapter NAACP is Facing Ethics Probe After Being Outed as White by her White biological Parents. Dolezal also maintained on Thursday that she still considers herself black. So the question is: Race, Color, Gender - Is it as easy as Black and White or are we in such a grey area anymore that anything goes?
