It can be an easy process, depending on what kind of a prepper you want to be, and what your preparing for. In this edition of Contra Radio we will address some of these issues and questions. Finding the right wedding favors — neither too cheap nor too grand — can be difficult. With wedding favors, the line between cute and kitsch is hin. If you either can’t or don’t decide to spend money on favors, then you should forego giving anything at all — it’s not necessary. With a little creativity, however, you can probably find or make the perfect favor.
We have a tendency to wait until the last minute to do anything. And we can usually pull it off at the last minute for most things. However, there are some cases where this just won't work, and being prepared to feed and defend yourself and your loved ones is ne of those cases.
Don't wait until the last minute to begin your preps. Tonight we talk about getting started and and learning to develop a "Prepping Lifestyle" rather than a plan to rush to the grocery store at the lasts minute to find bae shelves.
Please call in with your suggestions of how to gently nudge folks in the direction of squaring away their preps and what you do to keep yours up, and any current good deals on supplies and gear.

SHOW NOTES: In the MYTH WARRIORS™ series we are targeting ideas to begin to assess whether they are credible or not. The topic for this episode is, “If It Was EASY, Everyone Would Do It.”

SHOW NOTES: Our FINANCIAL FIERCENESS!™ series integrates our financial goals into our development plan for surpassing our goals. We deal with the specific issues we need to explore in order to achieve (and surpass) our financial goals. This specific episode is “Getting ‘Rich’ is Easy. Staying ‘Rich’ is Hard. Why that is and how to beat the odds.”
As we have previously discussed in other programs, wealth is relative. A person will determine if they feel wealthy (or “rich”) based on their upbringing, culture, ethics, religious, spiritual, education, philosophical and political frameworks. If a person has more resources (or appears to have more resources) than other peers, it tends to make them feel wealthy. If a person has less resources (or appears to have less resources) than peers, they feel poor. I have known people who made $2,000 USD a month and felt very wealthy (as their peers made much less on fixed incomes of around $1,000 USD a month). I also have known people who made $60,000 USD a month who felt poor (as their peers made $100,000 USD a month).
Once we have our basic necessities met in life, there is a universal human tendency to judge our economic ‘success’ relative to peer groups. This leads many people to try to spend money to seemingly match their peer behavior (i.e., keeping up with the Joneses). This is a large part of why people who have resources (aka “rich”) do not keep them.

SHOW NOTES: In the MYTH WARRIORS™ series we are targeting ideas to begin to assess whether they are credible or not. The topic for this episode is, “Taking college courses online is easy!”
This is a myth. If you already have completed one or more college degrees, it is a myth yet you have a higher probability of success with this modality of college classes (as college classes are not easy whether online or on campus).
Is it “true” that many people are taking online college courses? Yes.
“According to Columbia University’s Community College Research Center, for example, about seven million students — about a third of all those enrolled in college — are enrolled in what the center describes as traditional online courses.” (http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/19/opinion/the-trouble-with-online-college.html?_r=0)
If everyone is doing it (i.e., it is popular), it must be easy, right? Wrong.
“Students preferred direct instruction if they expected a course to be difficult, singling out math and science [...]. They also preferred a face-to-face setting when studying subjects they considered interesting or important, especially if the class was in their major. Many of the students said they learned more when the instructor is present.” (http://articles.latimes.com/2013/apr/25/local/la-me-ln-study-online-20130425)
“[C]ourses delivered solely online may be fine for highly skilled, highly motivated people, but they are inappropriate for struggling students who make up a significant portion of college enrollment and who need close contact with instructors to succeed.[…]” (http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/19/opinion/the-trouble-with-online-college.html?_r=0)

Understanding Law of Attraction is simpler than you think. Law of Attraction is the principle of getting everything you want out of life through the power of your own mind. Every person holds in their mind the power to shape the events of their life. Each person must be expectant of RECEIVING - the same way that one expects there to be air to breathe. A major principle of the Law of Attraction is that Thoughts become “Things” and the environment that you reside in is important. Happiness radiates a “glow” that inspires happiness and “unhappy people” people give off “negative” vibrations. Negative vibrations generate feelings of loneliness, sadness, stress, anger, confusion and disappointment. Protect your mind and heart by distancing yourself from negative people and negative environments
Harnessing the benefits of the Law of Attraction begins with meditating daily and learning to turn negative thoughts into positive thoughts - whatever you focus upon, increases.Do not resist the negative, but OVERCOME it with positive thoughts and deeds.Ask for what you most desire. Develop a habit of asking and expecting to receive.
Release Resistance: Do not dwell on what you do not want in your life or what you do not have. Imagine what you want and feel the joy and contentment of getting your desire; allow yourself to feel emotion. An answer may come in a dream, in an article that you read or a conversation with a friend.
Pronounce your expectation in words to manifest Your desires. Then visualize having that desire fulfilled and feel the joy and be thankful. Be Grateful! Say “thank you” each time you receive something expected to show that you appreciate all that you receive. By understanding that you have control over your thinking and your life, you can deliberately have a prosperous life.
