Cooking Oils - The Good, The Bad & The Really Unhealthy

    in Nutrition

Unlike traditional fats (butter, ghee, tallow, lard, olive oil, etc.) our industrial vegetable oils are a very new addition to the “food” world. In fact, they were practically non-existent until the early 1900s. But with the invention of certain chemical processes and a need for “cheap” fat substitutions, the world of fat hasn’t been the same since.

In this episode, Dr. Budweiser, owner and founder of Weiser Living, will be talking about how today's highly processed vegetable oils are bad for our health and how we should be looking to our recent ancestors for the answer.

Some of the topics covered will be:

How & Why Vegetable Oils Entered Our Food Supply
The Chemical Processing of Vegetable Oils
PUFAs, MUFAs & SFAs - Why Are Their Correct Ratios Important?
What The Heck Is a Canola?
    Stay Away From These Oils!
Which Oils & Fats Should You Use Instead
    The Great Olive Oil Scam

    ... and much, much more!

So oil up and slip into yet another eye opening 30 minutes with Dr. Budweiser!

Reading: "The Offense of the Cross" sermon given by John G. Lake

    in Religion

"And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution?  then is the offense of the cross ceased."  (Galatians 5:11)

The early ministers and preachers were declaring that the Cross was the very CENTER of religion, the SECRET of government, and the INSPIRATION of culture.  You and I are called to represent that Cross in word and life, and if we fail to do it, we are failing in loyalty to our Lord and Master.

Men are afraid of God because of wrong concepts. Let a man meet God in Jesus and he will love God.

Old things are passed away.  That is the power of the cross.  All things are become new.  That is the power of being raised in newness of life in Him, (Romans 6:4).

    ......John G. Lake

Christian Fictional God Induces Senility On Believers, God First Murdered Men

    in Music

As touching man's standard sobriety, the National Geographic recorded the African [civilized] indigent role of religion, and it says: Important religious developments also characterized the new urban civilizations. All of them developed religions to explain the workings of the forces of nature, and the fact of their own experience. Gods and goddesses were often believed to be crucial to a community's success. To win their favor, priests supervised rituals aimed at pleasing them. This gave the priests special power and made them very important people. Rulers also claimed that their power was based on divine approval, and some rulers claimed to be divine.
