Australia's own Gospel Recording Artist-Chico Johnson

    in Music

Born and raised in the Bahamas, Chico Johnson relocated to America where he spent a considerable amount of time learning the art of music. Born into a musical family, Chico was exposed to music from a young age and by taking influences from all genres, he created his own unique style and sound. Chico spends much of his time traveling between Australia, America and the Bahamas with his family and is now one of the most talented and versatile artists on the Urban scene in Melbourne today!

Chico first fell in love with music at the age of 4 when his mother introduced him to the likes of Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye and Percy Sledge. He started singing when he was 12 years old on the blocks of Winterhaven, Florida. Since then he has been inspired by artists such as Boyz II Men, Tank, Joe, Musiq Soul Child, Mary J Blidge, Donell Jones and all of the Motown artists from the 60's through to the 80's. He has now been professionally recording for 10 years and his dream is to touch the world and make a difference, especially amongst the youth, through his music and his Production and Charity companies “CheekyMac Productions” & "CheekyMac Charities".

Chico is proficient in all Urban genres. He can mix a set to comprise of R&B, Soul, Rap and Gospel songs  If  simplicity is what you seek, he can stick to just one genre and still put on a solid set each with an incredible message. No two sets are the same. Each show he puts on is tailor made for the audience and no time is wasted on delivering a fiery and inspiring performance. From the track selection to the messages he delivers, you can tell it’s more than just the music he brings to the stage. His presence and spirit alone, is set apart from the rest!

PWTR | A Nightmare on RAW Street

    in Wrestling

Pro Wrestling Talk Radio (also known as PWTR) is an internet radio podcast founded in March, 2009. The format of PWTR is a panel of wrestling fans discussing the hottest topics in the world of wrestling in an entertaining (and sometimes controversial) fashion.

In addition to an in-depth roundtable discussion, other segments include taking calls and questions from listeners, and interviews with wrestling personalities (including such headline-making interviews with Joey Ryan, Tough Enough winner Andy Levine, former WWE Superstar Chris Masters , 2010 Miss USA Rima Fakih, and 3x World Champion Diamond Dallas Page).

After a stint on YouTube for the latter-half of 2014, the webcast version was rebranded with PWTR returning to its podcast roots and becoming a separate entity. Following the departures of longtime hosts Jay and Charlie from the hosting panel, PWTR was re-launched in January, 2015. The current PWTR panel consists of Justin Gordon, Duke Maverick, and Manny Johnson.

    What's Up #Diamonds!

Welcome to episode no.5 of the Talent In 10 Project I hope you are all doing well and am looking forward to this show like I am. I do however must apolopgize for the last two shows I had some audio problems with the new system Blog Talk Radio has upgraded to. Blog talk radio has a new system where it puts you in stereo mode it’s called “hi-fi”, it makes everything sound better but for the past two weeks I’ve been using it, I think I’m going to go back to Skype until they can work out all the bumps in the new system.  I thank you for our support of the businesses, entrepreneurs and musicians that I promote here on the show.

This week on Talent In 10 I have short films from several #IndieFilmmakers I also have another skit from Theory Animation Ray and Clovis. The first couple of films you’ll hear will be drama &comedy, the second half of the film’s that I play will be about bullying. I saw the movie “The Gift” and it was about an adult bully which I think we all know at least one. With school starting some of us have kids that will face being bullied or are the bully at school. Bullying is a serious type of crime and I hope these short films with help you, your child, grandchild, niece or nephew when or if they decide to come to you to tell you about a problem like this at school.

Lost Arts Radio Show #34 - Special Guests Heather Scott and Richard Mack

    in Health

Heather Scott (www.repheatherscott.com), along with Bonner County Sheriff Daryl Wheeler and Washington State representative Matt Shea, came to the attention of Lost Arts radio recently when they stood up against the harassment of a man in her district by Veterans Administration agents who wanted to strip this citizen of his unalienable 2nd Amendment rights because he had suffered a stroke. This is part of the creeping infringement of 2nd Amendment rights by a government that wants to use any excuse possible to disarm American citizens, a step which historically always precedes much more serious tyranny and government crimes against the people. We get a chance on this week's show to find out first hand from Representative Heather Scott what it is really like when honest and courageous people get into government for the right reasons, and what it's really like on the inside.

On this show we also get a rare chance to speak with Sheriff Richard Mack (www.cspoa.org), on how he went from the beginning of his career in law enforcement, to a clear understanding of what needs to change in how that profession serves the people and honors its oath to the U.S. Constitution. Sheriff Mack shares with us how he came to start the great organization called the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (see all their videos on YouTube), and the inspirational work being done by CSPOA members all over America. All of us are needed to support this great effort at turning America back to an actual land of freedom and honor. If you haven't had the privilege of hearing Sheriff Mack talk yet, you are in for a treat with this show. If you have heard him, you know how inspirational his historical commentary and his insights can be on the real function of law enforcement (listen to what he says regarding "stupid laws"), so you know what a great show this is going to be.

What Women Want - Getting Back On Target

    in Entertainment

"ReAddressing The Urgent Clarification of Women."

A discussion about gender, classifications for being a woman, and the aspects that the define the originals.

    - from one woman's perspective.

This will be a debative topic, I am sure, as it will confront the lines that are drawn out there these days, and where we, women fall within them. I'll raise the question...

Where do we each ourselves see our selves as 'true' women these days... admist the misty, mysterious and musty camoflagues (and sometimes cartoonish displays) of womenhood?

Between Caitland and fakeland it is up for debate and...

I'm getting LIVE After Dark! Join me as I disguss the pros and cons of todays' womanhood. Where the lines are blurred and in some cases... completely obliviated.

    SILK - EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW - THURS, AUG 27, 2015 - 6:00 pm PST

    in Radio

Silk is a highly celebrated, R&B quintet who has sold over 5 million records. The group still comprises the original members who debuted in 1992. These gentlemen are Timzo (Timothy Cameron), Jim (Jimmy Gates, Jr.), Big G (Gary Glenn), Lil G (Gary Jenkins) and John John (Johnathen Rasboro). Popular for baby-making ballads and New Jack Swing favorites, Silk is best known for their 1993 pop hit, “Freak Me.” Other hits include “If You”, “Meeting In My Bedroom”, “Girl U For Me”, “Lose Control”, “Hooked On You” and “Don’t Rush”. The group was discovered by Keith Sweat over 20 years ago yet they continue to enjoy longevity in the industry with six studio albums. Currently, Silk is delicately placing the finishing touches on their seventh studio LP while touring the world.
The group began its embryonic stage in the mid 80’s. Timzo, Jim and John John formed the singing group as the teenagers harmonized while working at McDonald’s. Shortly thereafter, Big G was joined. A then-gospel group, the four would get their big break singing church songs in their manager’s basement during a cookout. Already empowered with unique diamond-smooth harmonies, Silk went in search of a fifth voice and Gary “Lil G” Jenkins was joined to the group. Keith Sweat signed the group to his Keia label and helped to create Silk’s unmistakable sound.
Sweat co-wrote and produced most of the steamy, sexually suggestive songs for their debut album, Lose Control. Selling two million copies, the album spun three US R&B Top 10 hits, including ‘Freak Me’, which stayed at #1 on the chart for eight weeks and the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks. Silk would go on to release their second album with an eponymous title giving us “I Can Go Deep”, “Hooked On You” and “Don’t Rush”.
