We are bombarded every day with news of rebels in Syria that must be "dealt with", rebels that we kind fo actually armed. Ukranians rebelling and Russia supposedly needing to be "dealt with", China "misbehaving" and needing to be "dealt with". Why? Why is our government pushing so hard in the direction of war?
Historical cycles have shown us time and again that in times of economic and trade wars, actual "hot" wars are soon found. Why is this happening now? And what are the repercussions for Americans if we end up in a global war, perhaps on several fronts?
And we will talk about the current push for opening up a super highway for illegal immigration and the effect it is having on America.
What should you be doing as this is rushing at America headlong?
Join me tonight for discussion of the dangerous world we are living in, (and creating) and for ideas on what you should be doing now to try and prevent us from following this dangerous path, and preparing for what may come if we continue to push our nation into war.
Call in number is 347-308-8790, and there is a chat room that accompnaies the show where you can comment and ask questions in real time.
Hope to see you here,
It was April of 2008, and the LoCash Cowboys were doing what they do best--rocking a packed house. They were at Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon, where the two of them--Preston Brust and Chris Lucas--had met a few years earlier. The amped-up crowd was living, screaming proof that they had put the time since then to good use. They had been criss-crossing the country, honing their craft on stages large and small, developing one of the most dynamic live shows in any genre of music. Along the way, they had sold more than 60,000 copies of their homemade CD, earned endorsements from the likes of Budweiser, shared bills with artists including Charlie Daniels and ZZ Top, performed at halftime of NBA and U.S. Olympic team basketball games, and earned television appearances ranging from Tanya Tucker's reality show "Tuckerville" to "Pageant School: Becoming Miss America," writing the theme songs for both.

Hailing from Tucson, Arizona, Haeley may look like an angel, but there’s more to her than meets the eye. This girl knows how to get down country-style and isn’t afraid to show it. Her new EP Hoot n’ Holler showcases Haeley’s infectious personality with her boot-stompin’ tunes including Boom in the Boondocks and Shakin’ in Your Boots, a vindictive anthem of a girl done wrong. While Haeley has been performing her whole life, her first big break came when she was just 16 when her American Idol Season 9 audition resulted in a spot among the Top 20 finalists. This success gave her the confidence boost she needed to “hit the ground running” in terms of her career. Following Idol, Haeley made the move to Nashville and since then, she has been writing and performing non-stop and has been taking part in several industry events, including performing and signing autographs during the CMA Music Festival and playing regularly at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge in Nashville. Haeley is on her way to becoming country pop’s next darling with her genuine optimism, infectious effervescent personality and enthusiasm for singing that cannot be deterred.
We have a tendency to wait until the last minute to do anything. And we can usually pull it off at the last minute for most things. However, there are some cases where this just won't work, and being prepared to feed and defend yourself and your loved ones is ne of those cases.
Don't wait until the last minute to begin your preps. Tonight we talk about getting started and and learning to develop a "Prepping Lifestyle" rather than a plan to rush to the grocery store at the lasts minute to find bae shelves.
Please call in with your suggestions of how to gently nudge folks in the direction of squaring away their preps and what you do to keep yours up, and any current good deals on supplies and gear.
