Today's show: The WWI Centenary and Prince William's Job.
We recently commemorated the start of the Great War on August 4th of this year. One hundred years ago on that date, British Prime Minister Herbert Asquith announced at 11pm that Britain was to enter the war after Germany had violated Belgium's neutrality.

Can William be a pilot and perform royal duties? He seems to think so.
According to CNN’s Max Foster, the Palace says air ambulance will be Duke's ‘primary occupation’ but his roster will take into account royal duties and charitable work. That’s quite a schedule!
In honor of Valentine's Day this Friday, we will be discussing another famous couple: Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Their enduring relationship has seen it share of extreme ups and downs but they finally ended up together later in life.
Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles first met around 1972. They dated but then separated. It was expected that Prince Charles marry someone of royal heritage. Camilla married Andrew Parker-Bowles and later on Prince Charles married Princess Diana.
As Charles and Diana's marriage fell apart (she blamed Camilla for this) it become a tabloid sensation. Camilla and Charles were having an affair which was exposed and called 'Camillagate' in the press in 1989.
Prince Charles and Diana ultimately divorced as did Camilla from her husband in 1995. Almost a decade after Princess Diana's death in 1997, Charles and Camilla married each other on April 9, 2005. At 12:30 PM BST, Camilla and Charles entered Windsor’s Guildhall to exchange their vows in a civil ceremony, emerging at 12:55 BST as husband and wife.

Carolyn Yeager continues her investigation into "what makes a traitor" by looking at The Cambridge Five: Upper-class British Trinity College students who began their unlikely career as Communist sympathizers and members of secret 'discussion group' clubs. Anthony Blunt, Guy Burgess, Kim Philby and Donald Maclean went on to become full-fledged Soviet agents during WWII and the Cold War. Guy, Kim and Donald eventually defected to the Soviet Union and died there. Blunt and Cairncross were outed but never prosecuted, remaining in Britain. But why did they want to do it in the first place? That is never satisfactorily explained by them but Carolyn offers some suggestions.

did model for a while though." After Keke landed a Featured role on Law And Order, where Director Mario Van Peebles told her, "I hand
picked you myself." She knew she wanted to do more. The desire she had for so long suppressed was set free. Keke would later land two

In 2013, Keke hit the stage, in an off Broadway performance of The Coochie Snorcher from Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues. I loved the live audience. I hope to do more theater." Sheila Raye Charles is an American singer-songwriter. She is the daughter of Ray Charles and Sandra Jean Betts. Her hometown is Cambridge, Ohio. Accomplished Daughter of legendary father, Ray Charles. Engaging inspiring Acoustic Jazz, Gospel and R&B vocalist/songwriter/minister.
Sheila is one of 12 children that Ray Charles fathered. She was raised in Cambridge, Ohio, by her mother and didn’t meet her father until she was 14 years old. Sheila suffered sexual abuse during her childhood and as a result spent many years struggling to find her identity. At 13, Sheila moved to Los Angeles to live with her Uncle Jerry and hoped to establish a relationship with her father.
Within a year, Sheila moved back with her mom in Ohio and headed for trouble. She ran away to North Carolina. When Sheila was 16, she was in an auto accident that lodged her right eye into the back of her skull. It took her many years to recover.
She returned to Los Angeles, this time with her mom and her brother Kevin. She tried to launch a musical career and had the opportunity to record at Ray’s studio under his supervision. Sheila travelled with the DeBarge family and found herself in Minneapolis to record at Paisley Park, Prince’s studio. Unfortunately, Sheila was unable to produce any music that the music industry found marketable so she began writing with various musicians and producers. In 1990, Sheila was voted New Artist of the Year at the Minnesota Black Music Awards and continued to receive advice from her father on her musical career.
