It's RevKess's birthday and neither him nor KaliSara knew what to do for this show. After asking on his personal FB page, RevKess came up with an idea. "In the beginning" references the suggestion made by at least one listener to talk about how he got on his spiritual path. Expanding this to include KaliSara's journey, that is the somewhat random plot for the show. Interspersed along the way will be a heavier sampling of music and some other musings.
Today we are going to talk about cults. I mean the kind that take over you financially, emotionally or spiritually. No religion is safe from it. Religious "leaders" from all paths of life are akin to have the ability to do it. All religions are suspect to its rumor mills and accusations. Whenever you get a group of people together with different ideas of how things should be done, you run the gambit of gossip and finger pointing. However, gossip goes without saying in large groups. I am talking about the serious stuff – Don’t drink the Kool-Aid, kids.
Today I am going to talk the serious signs you need to look out for when joining a new group on your quest for spirituality. I also have a very important message to religious leaders or if you are thinking about becoming one.
Teo Bishop returns to PMPC to talk about the Solitary Druid Fellowship and the ADF. Join KaliSara and RevKess as they enjoy another great conversation with this pioneer in Druidry. From the SDF website: The Solitary Druid Fellowship (SDF) is an extension of Ár nDraíocht Féin (ADF), an independent tradition of Neo-Pagan Druidism. It is organized to provide solitary Druids, as well as any solitary Pagan in the general public, with an opportunity to engage more deeply with their ritual practice, while at the same time forging spiritual bonds with other solitaries through the adoption of a shared liturgical form. The Fellowship is organized by Teo Bishop, author of the blog, Bishop In The Grove. Before becoming a practicing Pagan was a member of the Episcopal Church, a liturgically-based Christian denomination. With more than twenty years of experience in a liturgical tradition, Teo brings to the Fellowship an understanding about the value of shared practice, as well as a deep appreciation for beauty, simplicity, and effective language in religious ritual.

Todays Show live Column read: Seeing Owl's
“... When we are open to seeing the animals that cross our path from another perspective we can benefit from the spiritual messages they share with us. I already knew what the message of seeing owls was from my studies of Druid teachings. Owl represents wisdom, detachment, and change. The Owl is the totem bird of clairvoyance and astral travel. The veil which surrounds the normal boundaries of space and time can be pierced if you allow the energy of Owl as ally....”
Lady T welcomes very special guest and Massachusetts resident Ellen Evert Hopman !
Ellen Evert Hopman is the author of a growing number of books. Her first novel, Priestess of the Forest: A Druid Journey (Llewellyn, February 2008), was an exciting new project for her, combining a heart-warming third century Irish fictional romance with practical Druid rites and rituals. The third novel in the series is Priestess of the Fire Temple: A Druid's Tale (Llewellyn, March 2012) explores the Pagan predecesor of Saint Brighid's Fire Temple in Kildare. The three books are Bardic teaching tales that focus on the Three Realms of Land, Sea and Sky (Fire).Ellen's latest magical herbal is Scottish Herbs and Fairy Lore (Pendraig Publishing, June 21, 2011). In early August, Lammas or Lughnasadh is usually a festival celebrating the first fruits of harvesting, the fruits your labours, and seeing the desires that we had from the beginning of the season unfold so rituals are going to be centred around this particular theme. Join me as I explain the next Sabatt on The Wheel Of The Year - Lammas!

Tonight we will be interviewing "Grady Stiles lll (Lobster Boy)
Hosts Janet Kira Lessin and Theresa J. Morris interview tantric priestess Tracy Elise on the Ascension Center on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 3 to 5 PM, HST (Hawaii time), 6 to 8 PM Pacific time on www.blogtalkradio.com/aquarianradio and www.blogtalkradio.com/tjmorrisetradio.
About Tracy Elise:
I see my life as dedicated to the restoration of equality between women and men in the realms of spiritual authority. The defintion of the creators as “God the Father” has virtually left all feminine wisdom silenced in the realm of morality. The fear that the male of the species has around the power of their root attraction to the female has forced feminine soul wisdom ‘underground’.
We see this in the lack of sacred alternatives in sex education, and a growth in the secular ‘profane’ sex expressions of ography, prostitution (sex for sale), the break down of pair bonds, sex addiction for many males and sexual shutdown for many females. My objective is to allow the ancient and powerful sacred sexuality teachings to emerge from all wisdom streams: Egyptian, Hindu, Buddhist, Goddess Worship, Druid/Pagan, Mystic Islam and Judeao-Christianty. This is a unifying temple, we are Gnostic and believe each person can access their Higher Power in their own unique way.
