This morning I woke up feeling the spirit of God all over me. I felt so full that I wanted to fill someone cup this morning who is lost, and who just feel completely empty this morning. This song is for you! I want you to know that you are more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ. If you want to feel useful then let God begin to use you. TO GOD BE THE GLORY both now & forever. I love more than anything!

We have a very good topic tonight and guest Activist, Rashida Strober. She has come under fire for these words:
“Well, well, well would you looky here. ANOTHER FAKE CONSCIOUS MUTHER F-KER EXPOSED. I will never support him nor his music with one dime of my money and encourage all dark skinned women not to either!” she wrote.
Strober’s comments gained traction with folks who either fully support the “Dark Skin Is Beautiful” campaign founder or didn’t share her views on Lamar. In response to her nonsupporters, Strober posted the following response:
I see calling out and exposing self hating fake black men who speak about consciousness but date and marry NON DARK SKIN WOMEN brought you haters to my page. WELL SHARE THIS MUTHERFUKING POST!!! These type of fake coons are the worst of the worst. DARK SKIN is the essence of true blackness and if these fakers were really and truly conscious they would MARRY DARK SKINNED WOMEN!!! You pissed ?? GOOD!!!
Since 1998, Rashida Strober has been known as an advocate for people with darker complexions, according to her biography, which mentioned that her cause was inspired after years of bullying from classmates who put her down because of her complexion. Stage plays created by the Florida native include “A Dark-Skinned Woman’s Revenge” and “Ice Cream Lady’s Dream.”

The fellas discuss the NBA Playoffs as the Wild Wild West has lived up to the hype. We continue last week's conversation about Anthony Davis – who is playing lights out in the postseason despite the fact that the Splash Brothers are showing why they are the best back-court in the league. Ed will complain about Deron Williams – whose heart pumps Kool-Aid, give props to the addition of Shump, JR, Timofey Mozgov as the Cavs roll in the playoffs, and gush about the greatness of the San Antonio Spurs while eating a bowl of crow after the Houston Rockets dominant performance thus far in the playoffs.
Fuz will certainly bring up the Washington Capitals-New York Islanders series, with the Caps now taking a 3-2 advantage. Given time, the guys will also talk about Andre Ward's long-awaited return to the ring, early impressions of the baseball season and a rant about the Montreal Impact almost getting mugged by Club America.
You’ve got to understand music’s traditions in order to reinvent them. Jordan Bratton certainly does. The 18-year-old singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer possesses a prodigious grasp on all aspects of music. His critically applauded 2014 mixtape, The Grey Area, and debut single “Danger 3” are wholly the products of his personal production and songwriting vision. Armed with a multitude of talents, he stands poised to truly break ground.
At only four-years-old, the New York native realized his innate passion for singing. Encouraged by his “musical” family, he joined the choir in Kindergarten and enjoyed his first moment in the spotlight singing a solo at Lincoln Center during the holidays. Young Jordan also learned the drums before picking up piano and organ at age eleven followed by guitar, bass, and even clarinet. Immersed in the likes of Earth Wind & Fire and Kim Burrell among other R&B and gospel icons, he even started performing live with his dad’s band as well as playing organ at church.
“I built a great feel and vibe for soulful music,” he explains. “I really admired those artists, and they impacted my singing so much.”
Around the same time, Jordan also hit Broadway. After joining the touring production of The Lion King as “Young Simba,” he went on to star in The Color Purple. All the while, he amassed an impressive collection of songs and productions created in his parent’s basement.
Munch-Dog’s interest in music began as a young man growing up in St. Mary’s County, Maryland, when he heard two prominent hip hop stars-- “2pac” and “Scarface.” Their gifts, talents, and passion were expressed in a real way that could be related to, understood, and felt deeply by audiences of varied status, culture, and ethnicity.
With this inspiration, in 1993, he started freestyling. He would spend time practicing in his bedroom alone, and with his
group of friends. They quickly became some of the best freestylist in their area.
In 2000, Munch-Dog, Izy-O and two other members decided to form the rap click and record label “K.O.A.” (Knowing Our Aim). They made three mixed tapes and a compilation album. With the help of producers, “JT” and “Stretch” they became known for their lyrical ability and music beats. Performing all over the DMV with fellow KOA member “Relentlezz Dre” they became known for their stage presence and ability to draw a crowd.
In 2008, Munch-Dog embarked upon his solo career. He has accomplished the following:
• Recorded and released on iTunes, his first solo album, “Finally Here”
• Has opened up for artists such as: David Banner, Knowledge (from the Grammy award winning group, “Diggable Planets”), and more
• Recorded his
first music video-- “Baby Let me Know,” with the three time, DMV award winning, Skinny
Munch-Dog's New Mixtape "Nobody's Safe...Vol 1" is dropping this spring. with the 2 lead singles "Beat The Block" & "Everything"
