Well the first round of the 2016 NFL draft did not go as many of the "experts" thought. Laremy Tunsil fell like a lead ballon and Joey Bosa went high and Ezikiel Eliot went to th Jerryboys. It was a crazy night for the Giants with 2 teams jumping them to grab 2 of the picks they wanted. It was one of the most interesting drafts I have ever witnessed so during this weeks show Jeff and I will break down the Draft and concentrate on the picks made by our local teams.
The Yankees suck and the Mets are playing lights out so I think its time to give the team from Flushing a spotlight during this weeks show. I hope to have the Yankee beat reporter, Dom Guinta, on with us.
We will continue with our preview of the Hard Rock n Sports beneft for the "Pauls Peace Inc Foundtion. We will have the return of the very popular what does Jeff think Question and the next edition of the Top 5 List.
SO many great topics and and only 3 hours to talk about them, please tune in next Thursday starting at 6:30 pm est for the next exciting episode of Hard Rock n Sports.
The 2016 NFL draft is in the books. From the Los Angeles Rams and Jared Goff at No. 1 to the Tennessee Titans and Kalan Reed at No. 253, over 250 young men now know where their NFL careers will begin. Hundreds more have signed with teams in the days since as undrafted free agents.
And now that we know where top rookies like quarterback Carson Wentz (Philadelphia Eagles, No. 2), running back Ezekiel Elliott (Dallas Cowboys, No. 4) and wide receiver Corey Coleman (Cleveland Browns, No. 15) landed, it's time to start talking in detail about how this year's class affects the fantasy football landscape.
Will any of the first-year quarterbacks make a fantasy dent in 2016?
Besides Elliott, which tailbacks could be set for an immediate impact? And just how big a splash will "Zeke" make in Big D?
In a crowded wide receiver class with no clear-cut No. 1 prospect, which young pass-catchers should fantasy owners target?
Of course, the draft impacts much more than just the incoming players, as these rookies will also impact any number of veterans across the National Football League. Which players saw their fantasy fortunes improve, and who was left out in the cold?
To answer those questions and many more, Fantasy Sharks Senior Staff Writer Gary Davenport welcomes a pair of special guests in this week. Fantasy Sharks staff writers Trey Daubert and MJ Brown (host of the Daily Bite here on Fantasy Sharks Radio) will join the Fantasy Football Feeding Frenzy on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 7-8 PM for an NFL Draft Breakdown Cinco de Mayo style.
For a fiesta of fantasy football forecasting, be sure to tune in!

Now if Lombardy Trophies were given for having the best draft day, then Jacksonville won the Show hands down. Not only did they land Jalen Ramsey, they scored big with Myles Jack! With Blake Bortles at the helm, the Jaguars look like AFC West contenders for sho! In the NBA Playoffs, the Cleveland Cavaliers dropped 25 threes on the Hawks, that's right...25! Did they send a message to the Warriors and Spurs? Hmmm, we think they may have just lessened the gap between their much improved squad and the top ballers in the West. Last but not least, Charles Oakley called Sir Charles a fraud and TNT's mist popular anchor responded in kind. LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE
On episode two of the Big Cat Coalition, we review the Detroit Lions' 2016 NFL Draft. What were some of the best and most confusing picks the team made last weekend? What are some bold predictions for the draft class? What grade should be given to the team in the aftermath?
Those thoughts and more this week.
With the NFL Draft now come and gone, we recap which team(s) in the first round got the best value or got a steal. What are Stephen's thoughts on Christian Hackenberg going to the New York Jets and not the Houston Texans?
The NBA Playoffs are heating up in both conferences, especially in the West. The Oklahoma City Thunder escaped with a game 2 victory in San Antonio with a little help from the referees. But both sides got away with some no calls. Should Golden State keep resting Steph Curry if they keep beating Portland?
In the East, are we destined for a Miami/Cleveland Eastern Conference Finals matchup? NBA fans sure hope so. And so does LeBron.
Cleveland hit 25 3's against Atlanta in game 2, they made 16 2-point shots. Is this the new style the Cavs are going to play with? Or was it a result of how Atlanta played defense?
