Well that was an interesting little weekend in boxing, wasn't it? We had life, love, pain, longing, passion, desire, romantic comedy... One of those things, anyway. Between Shawn Porter handing Adrien Broner another deserved loss and David Lemieux waging (albeit kinda one-sided) war with Hassan N'dam, Andre Ward's return against heavy and irresponsible Paul Smith fell by the wayside. This coming weekend, there's a nice matchup in Tim Bradley vs Jessie Vargas. James Foley of Bad Left Hook and The Fight City's Patrick Connor will go over all that stuff for you, you lazy bastards. More importantly, Floyd Mayweather said he might fight Andre Berto or Karim Mayfield in his final bout, so that's atrocious. Thanks for tuning in!

The staff of White Apple Institute offers deepest condolescences to everyone affected by the massacre in South Carolina on June 17, 2015.
The term discrimination is too often associated with racism versus disability. In addition, racism and discrimination are frequently related in the U.S. media to the victimization of African-Americans and other Non-White groups by White Americans. As a result, African-American students with mental/learning or physical disabilities are often overlooked as they face the challenges of higher education and workforce success. Dr. Applewhite is joined by Special Guest Professor Kelmer Muhammad (Educator, Entrepreneur, Author) to discuss discrimination and realistic solutions. Veterans conclude our show with their response to discrimination and news updates for Student Veterans with Mitch Caviness. This show is a rerun that aired previously on Students Discuss the Reality of Discrimination. 12-6-14.Your one-time or monthly recurring tax-deductible donation of $5 or more to White Apple Institute will support our radio broadcasts, and allow us to continue helping Adult Learners/Students and Veterans with disabilities reach their education and workforce goals. The Language of Revelation: Classical Arabic Language Instruction and Exercises with Qur’aan Commentary For Beginners & Non-Beginners By Siddeeq Jihad.
I have read this detailed, scholarly work of our brother, Siddeeq Jihad. The book is basically written and structured to help anyone who is interested in learning Classical Arabic. The book is highly instructive and well organized.
No doubt, the author Siddeeq Jihad has a great love for Lughatut-tanzeel, the language of revelation. He has dedicated many years studying and teaching Qur’aanic Arabic.
Allah has enabled him to share the knowledge He has blessed him with. Siddeeq has had a long jihad (exertion of diligent effort/time) in learning Qur’aanic Arabic.
The book is extremely useful! It is an excellent guide for beginners and non-beginners and whoever is interested in learning Lughatut-Tanzeel: The Language of Revelation. This work equips and empowers its readers with a strong foundation to understand Qur’aanic Arabic. It can indeed lead students, male and female toward Arabic proficiency. I strongly recommend the book for brothers and sisters who are interested in learning Qur’aanic Arabic as well as Modern Standard Arabic. Sheikh Ali S. Ali, Imam/Director - Canton Masjid in Mi.

The Empowered Self Series with Co-host Dr. Friedemann Schaub: The Empowered Self Part 15 - The Gift of Surrender . Do you like to be in control and at times freak out, when things aren’t going your way? Are you known to bang your head against the wall, in an effort to get what you want? If so, you may have noticed that the more you are trying to micromanage your life and the people around you, the stronger the fear of losing control becomes. Often things flow more smoothly and quickly, if we give up control and allow them to happen instead of making them happen. Yet most of us have a hard time surrendering, because we liken it to defeat, giving up or powerlessness. The truth is, when we surrender we stop paddling upstream, we no longer battle ourselves and our lives, but allow life to unfold with greater ease and grace. Join, Dr. Friedemann Schaub, author of The Fear and Anxiety Solution, and Dr. Pat Baccili, and learn more how surrendering can become an empowering practice in your life.
