"The Matt Duffin Show" - Remember Me? The Lil' Engine That Could?

    in Education

    I think I can, I think I can, I think...

The Little Engine that Could, and I'm chuggin' along again.  Sorta like THE Mr. Billy Jack once did.  One tin soilder walks away, ya know. And you thought I was just a Hoosier? OK, Sailor? TBI Guy?  Mean? Back again after a Sabbatical/Hiatus/Pause from BIRN (and more) I'm just plain, not-simple-but-differient Matt. As in Duffin (Muffin with a 'D'). Matt Duffn from Milton Indiana. I created the Sunday Night slot on Brain Injury Radio.

Wasn't Joey Giggles a fine replacement for our TBI-type?  Thank you Sir, a fine example of what our TBI community is all about - sharing and caring, in which evolved YOUR Sunday night show.  Oh, and Laughing (smiles manditory).. Learning? (Usually). Guests? Always.  Hoping for YOU of course. Flirting? Uh, comes with the territory.  And YES, I enjoy making people feel good about themselves. If I was actually 'flirting' with all you lovely dolls, my wife would crack me in the head. If I had one, wife that is. I got a head. Wanna see the MRI history?

Sam Way has called in (after 4 months OFF), and  new TMDS co-host Jenny J Johnson may need more time as well (we shall see and await her presence) - lot's took place in her precious world recently.  A wonderful TBI success story of support and 'drive', Jenny's been 'ADVOCARE-ing" in life again, From Valaprasio, Indiana, she' and her mother have created Support Groups over the past year and a half. Daniel Mollino is taking his TBI Awareness on the road - literally.  Bike riding solo from New Jersey to San Francisco this summer, this Survivor can toss a LOT of talent at you.  Sue Root is anticipated & music by Jim Thalls and Crossroads.

Ready?  Who cares - Let's ROCK!

'The Matt Duffin Show' - A Memorial Thunder

    in Radio

How is your Memorial Day going?  Solemn?  Picnicing, or just being outside for Spring?  In thought?  Like ANY other day for your own 'Memorial TBI' - being quiet and alone.  We certainly like those days, I well understand.  Especially while listening to an old (ok, classic) Eagles song - "I get a peaceful, easy feeling..."  But this is Indianapolis, and it's Race Day!  It's anything but peaceful around here - and the Downtown Milton Studio is 50-miles away from THE Track.  The Greatest Specical in Racing takes over then Month of May.  As is liked to say - "Visit, enjoy yourself, spend your money and get the hell out of town."

I've learned to ignore most of the hoopla, it seems better for my stimuli.  However, this is Indiana, and we grew up on Racing, er, Racin'.  We have more tracks per capita than most countries do, let along states.  Yes, there is a basketball court in all the parking lots, I'm sure.  Brain Injury and Auto Racing go hand in hand (head on head?).  Another reflection most Hoosiers and racing fans always have.  It seemed to drift away.  Personally, I know a large amount of 'backyard' racers whose weekend running laps is as well as dangerous as an explodinng IndyCar, to the skull.  Blunt force be damned, remember, tremendous speeds also can cause "trememdous whiplash" which will effect the brain more than the neck.  And these drivers?  Neighbors, husbands (wifes), parents, thrill seekers and simply adults who grew up around the auto business.  Competitiors.  Kept at a level of performance that life has created. Let's meet one.  Let's' also discuss Mt Lawn's donation to the HARD workers of the NC Miracle League Volunteers.  And, Not to be overlooked is TMDS Med MJ Month. Listen, call.

Live Chat with Fabian Marley but is he the First Born for BOB MARLEY as He Claim

Fabian Marley was born on the 27th of July 1968 to Raphie Munroe and Bob Marley,in Kingston 12 At a later age Fabian and his mother relocated to Eastern Kingston,

His first encounter with the music was with the Rainbow Band where he met with The Skattaliets and learn music the orthodox way from people like Jonny Dizzemore Roland Alphanso and other members from the band his first instrument was the Harmonica then he learn to play the piano and further on he went on to play other instrument's. The band sounds of rainbow start creating their own album they took one single from their album and started their own distribution, then they had a miss fortune, a few of the members past away leaving only Fabian the drummer and the lead guitarist, they found members and at this time Fabian became the lead singer. In the band then they re-recorded some of the tracks from the first album with some new ones.

Fabian Marley started recording with the All Fruits Studio in Rock fort, Cave Man Studio and Afari Studio which is located in the constant spring area ..... all the mix and mastering has been done at the Tuff Gong Studio and Anchor Studio, Fabian's vision is to continue the work that his father started spreading the gospel of reggae music all over the world. in the future Fabian wishes to build a solid music industry, where we can teach the younger generation how to play instrument's and how to sing on keys And to appreciate the roots reggae music like the rest of the world, Fabian's hope is to start charities to help the disable and the unfortunate children.
