Host Tabatha Pope welcomes Margaret Madigan to THE LIBRARIAN on the Authors on the Air Global Radio Network. Margaret writes romance and science fiction for Entangled Publishing, Evernight Publishing, and M&M Publishing. She is an Oregon Ducks fan and a donut and pastry addict (pretty much any carbs, really). She likes cats and is terrified of balloons. When Margaret is not writing you’ll find her in a college classroom teaching English, or working as a literary agent for an amazing agency…and of course, wrangling her family. You can find out more about Margaret Madigan on her website, or by following her on Facebook, and Twitter.
Host of "The Librarian", Tabatha Pope, can be found at The Librarian Talks and Facebook. This is a copyrighted and trademarked podcast owned solely by the Authors On the Air Global Network LLC. on the web at authorsontheair.com.

Wed, March 2nd, 2016...8:00 PM Eastern Time... BEYOND SIGHT AND SOUND....with Josh Kimmel and Leighton Harrington
TREVOR FERRARESSO OF COILTEK COILS
I'm sure you've heard of COILTEK coils and have even heard them mentioned during the show many times as both Leighton and myself really like that 10x5 Coiltek for the CTX. If you have had the chance to catch Trevor on BEYOND SIGHT AND SOUND or even any of the other shows he's dropped by then you know that not only is he very energetic about the hobby of metal detecting,...he's also serious about COILTEK coils. Coiltek has been manufacturing high performance aftermarket coils and accessories for some time now and continue to optimize discovery with their intense research and development of these great products that continue to produce many nice finds for those of us who continue to use their products in the field where it counts!
The last time Trevor was on the show we had a great time speaking with him and even a few laughs with the future / past understanding of time zone difference. Trevor had mentioned that there were some things that Coiltek had been working on the last time he was on the show so maybe we will get to hear more about these things or even some of what's on the horizon for Coiltek. One things is for sure...it will be great to speak with Trevor again and we are looking forward to speaking with him. Join us as BEYOND SIGHT AND SOUND heads across the pond for another fun and informative show about COILTEK! Tune in...we want to hear from you!

As contemporary culture dramatically morphs, so does the church. Pastor Chris McMichael (Engrafted Word Church) characterizes what he aptly calls the Donut Church. Born not out of persecution, nor out of reformation or revival, this 21st century church is informed instead by Western culture, in turn, defined by the so-called Millennial Generation. Spiritual formation, communitarianism, seeker-friendly, social justice, contemplative prayer, Christ-consciousness, mega-church, holistic—all these, and more—describe characteristics of today’s church. Join Pastor McMichael as he discusses need to (and how to) restore and revive the politically correct “Donut Church.” Please join us.
Hr1 Manufacturing plants and layoffs... sounds like economic recovery doesn't it? NOT! Get ready for the jobs report! You KNOW the economy is bad when... a donut shop goes out of business!
Baltimore man on the street, Corey Prez Duncan talks Baltimore politics, Freddie Gray cop trials, & more.
Oregon college students want to remove MLK's "I have a dream" quote because it's not inclusive enough!
Hr2 SNL will have a hard time topping this REAL story... councilman sworn into office while in jail for murder. How, exactly, is he supposed to conduct business for the city?
Contrary to the Vagina Monologues... some things are better kept private!
FOX News host Greta Van Susteren poll showed 83% of her viewers won't watch the GOP debate without Donald Trump.
Amherst boots college's unofficial racist mascot Lord Jeff. Good luck finding a new one in our politically correct environment!
When the state tells Christian schools they can't pray in public. Religious freedom is dead with government mandates like this!
Hr3 A federal agency continues to sound the alarm over the "state of the climate," but a conservative think tank says it's not cause for concern.
Political writer and commentator, Michael Hausam weighs in on Trump, the GOP debate, Ayn Rand's election advice, and more. He says "Trump is a petulant, whiny baby. I'd rather have Jeb than Trump at this point." Oh boy!
Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?
During the Vietnam War, Red Cross workers provided services to U.S. military personnel and assist Vietnamese refugees (1962-1974) In 1962, the American Red Cross sent its first paid field staff to Vietnam to assist the growing number of servicemen at various bases and hospitals. At the height of its involvement in 1968, 480 field directors, hospital personnel, and recreation assistants (Donut Dollies) served throughout Southeast Asia. Red Cross workers, who provided 1.9 million services to U.S. military personnel, shared the hardships and privations of war with the soldiers. Five Red Cross staff members gave their lives, and many others were injured as they helped servicemen resolve personal problems or get home when emergency leave was granted due to death or serious illness in their immediate family.
One of these volunteers is Barbara Lilly. Barbara graduated from Wayne State in Detroit (Masters much later at Texas State San Marcos) and then on to Vietnam. She served in VN 3/68 through 3/69. During that time she was assigned to Phan Rang, Lai Khe, Cam Ranh Army and II Field Forces. She also did TDY to Cam Ranh Air Force Base ... She had double pneumonia and it wasn't raining there so they sent her there once she got out of the hospital.
