Take 30 To Unwind and Break The Daily Grind - Music For The Realist

    in Energy

    Hey Ya'll,  Happy Valentines Day!

I don't know about ya'll, but I'm feeling a bit salty and burned out with all the hustle and bustle of life, which seem to keep us all busy with trying to survive and stay alive!  Feel me?  We've got the Presidential Race in place, and it's got me feeling like I'm in outer space. Cause I don't know who to believe, they all seem to have something up their sleeves. So, the best way to break the daily grind, is to take 30 to unwind with your Valentine and of course -  marinate your busy mind. It's very simple;  grab your favorite drink, kick up your feet with me, close your eyes, and take a moment to think.   You'll be glad you did...

     Valentines Day Mix

    Great Music  for Great Minds,

    D'Luv

BIL Radio: Take Back Your Rights

    in Current Events

Most Americans think that laws exist requiring shoes to be worn while driving a car, going into a store, or eating in public.

ZERO such USA states have such requirements.

Not only that, but there are HEALTH BENEFITS to not wearing shoes.

Most people have been told otherwise, so the average person wears flip flops  - because they do not WANT to wear shoes, but afraid of violating laws (that do not exist)

    Talking with Ron Spikes

    in Lifestyle

Life issues are common problems, issues and/or crises that happen to normal people living normal lives.

You may not always have a comfortable life and you will not always be able to solve all of the world's problems at once but don't ever underestimate the importance you can have because history has shown us that courage can be contagious and hope can take on a life of its own.

    Michelle Obama

If you have a positive attitude and constantly strive to give your best effort, eventually you will overcome your immediate problems and find you are ready for greater challenges.

    Pat Riley

You can't please everyone. When you're too focused on living up to other people's standards, you aren't spending enough time raising your own. Some people may whisper, complain and judge. But for the most part, it's all in your head. People care less about your actions than you think. Why? They have their own problems!

    Kris Carr

The problems of the world cannot possibly be solved by skeptics or cynics whose horizons are limited by the obvious realities. We need men who can dream of things that never were.

Relationship Month -- Parent & Child -- The Parker J Cole Show

    in Entertainment

People make the world go around. That's a fact. Without people, we really would be a 'pale blue ball’ like Sagan once said. How we interact with each other helps to build families, communities, and cultures. All this month on the Parker J Cole show, we will be discussing relationships -- from husband and wives to friends and siblings. Each week, our commentary will focus on particular aspect of the relational wheel.

This week on the show, we'll be discussing the dynamics of the parent child relatonship. The modern take on family has changed drastically. Blended families, grandparents raising grandchildren, single parenthood -- they now make a percentage of familes once dominated by a mother, father, and children all naturally born to each other.

What does the Bible say about the parent -- child relationship? How do we work under this modern dynamic? Join me for an insightful discussion with Minster Yvette Allen Tatum as we expand on this topic. Call in at 646-668-8485, press 1 to be live on air. Bliss Point vs Ego with Dr. E.D. Brown

    in Self Help

Clinical Psychologist and author Dr. E. Douglass Brown will start a new theme with his topic of Bliss Point vs Ego, on this re-broadcast show. A term invented in the fast food industry, the “bliss point” refers to that point when a person experiences the maximum amount of sensory satisfaction and pleasure from tasting and eating a specific food product. Food and beverage companies spend millions of dollars in research to identify the right mixture of ingredients to place in their food and beverage products to take you to the “bliss point”- when you taste and savor their products and feel that you must consume more in order to re-experience that maximum degree of digestive satisfaction and pleasure. (Doritos chips anyone?) The more enduring “bliss point” or bliss state” is attained when you stop pretending that your ego is who you are and start to be who and what you are – a human being with a unique personality who is connected to the Ultimate Superior Spirit behind all creation. Some people call this state self- actualization or self-realization.

The Doctrine Of Devils, The Hypocrisy

    in Christianity

                                               1 Timothy 16

The word is not in the original text of the Bible but was late put in the scriptures do to the corrupt belief of the Roman's, who had total power to do as they please. I know some of you are going to say, this is not true!, well let's take a look at the word it self; Demon-english, Daimon-greek, the root of daimon is daio which means to distribute fortunes or destiny. There are two more words used in the Bible to explain demon but they are from the latin tongue, so you know the Bible was not written in latin. 1 Timothy 7 Be careful research your words as so with fables, which the Bibles warnes us against several times in the Bible but we ignore this warning.

Shakira's secrets and life lessons you should know

    in Lifestyle

Shakira is featured on Life Lessons because we think she has something significant to teach others.

As a small girl she was rejected from the school choir and her music teacher told her that her voice sounded like a goat. If someone had said something like this to me I would probably be embarrassed to my core and would take on oath either to never sing again. But garnering the courage to sing infront of crowd in the same trait that was made fun of takes quite a character indeed. You need not fit everywhere: Her parents encouraged her saying “You have a beautiful voice, stick to what you are, don’t sing any less loud than what you think.”  VALUE ORIGINALITY! The first two albums failed: Her first two albums Magia and Peligro, which were released in the early 1990s failed to achieve any commercial success.  It took till 2006 for the phenomenal song “Hips Don’t Lie”. And in 2010 it was waka waka which has over 700 million views on youtube. What takes for someone to reach such a remarkable success- Persistence, patience, hard work, innovation, passion, belief, hope, dream, dedication. Giving it back Shakira is very well known for her involvement in philanthropic activity and charity work through her concerts. When she was young, her father took her to a local park to see the orphans who lived there and she said to herself ” One day, I am going to help these kids when I become a famous artist!” People have achieved a lot of things and some of them have decided to pay back.
