Divas Boss Lady is interviewing the phenomenal, vivacious Diva herself, Donalja Mickies James. She is not shy to the stage and owns the stage of anyone she performs on. Originally born in Chicago to a single mother, Donalja began to truly develop as a writer at the young age of seven. Donalja, also known as "the Voiceness"
is an activist and advocate for women's rights and empowerment. In this project, Donalja gives us poignant insight into how she recovered from gang rape, abandonment, domestic violence and physiological attributed to it. "I See You" celebrates the indomitable will to overcome what seemed to be insurmountable odds and a testament to the enduring power of the
human spirit as she conquered her circumstances and reclaimed herself. This victim turned advocate shows others how to not only
be a survivor but and over comer. Creating a new genre called Spoken Soul, she grabs the hearts of her audience. She has shared stages with Anthony Hamilton, Michael Baisden, BR Burns, Mike Phillips, Lyfe Jennings and HBO Def Poets Abyss, Helena D. Lewis, Mahogany Brown, Queen Sheba and many more.
Please tune in to hear the woman behind the album, "I See You" and behind the movement of Stiletto Ladies. This show will be full of power, insight, and empowerment. Don't miss this one. Call to speak to Donalja live on Thursday, 347-677-1602.
Psalm 27:1-5 New King James Version (NKJV)
1 The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked came against me
To eat up my flesh,
My enemies and foes,
They stumbled and fell.
3 Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident.
4 One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple.
5 For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.
It will be another hot topic show where HOST James DeShay will tackle the wonderful subjects and the tough subjects. Make sure to join him and chime in on the conversation. He welcomes call in and love to interact with the audience.
Today we return to the most controversial part of Malcolm El Haji Malik Shabazz's speech 'MESSAGE TO THE GRASS ROOTS'
"Once they formed it, with the white man over it, he promised them and gave them $800,000 to split up between the Big Six; and told them that after the march was over they’d give them $700,000 more. A million and a half dollars — split up between leaders that you’ve been following, going to jail for, crying crocodile tears for. And they’re nothing but Frank James and Jesse James and the what-do-you-call-’em brothers.
[As] soon as they got the setup organized, the white man made available to them top public relations experts; opened the news media across the country at their disposal; and then they begin [sic] to project these Big Six as the leaders of the march. Originally, they weren’t even in the march. You was [sic ] talking this march talk on Hastings Street — Is Hastings Street still here? — on Hasting Street. You was [sic] talking the march talk on Lenox Avenue, and out on — What you call it? — Fillmore Street, and Central Avenue, and 32nd Street and 63rd Street. That’s where the march talk was being talked. But the white man put the Big Six [at the] head of it; made them the march. They became the march. They took it over. And the first move they made after they took it over, they invited Walter Reuther, a white man; they invited a priest, a rabbi, and an old white preacher. Yes, an old white preacher. The same white element that put Kennedy in power — labor, the Catholics, the Jews, and liberal Protestants; [the] same clique that put Kennedy in power, joined the march on Washington.

On this week’s edition of Scottscope Talk Radio, the roundtable reviews Avengers: Age of Ultron! Is it as goods as the first one? Could it possibly be better than the first one? Is it simply more of the same? Could it be the MCU’s answer to ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ or ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’? Is it time for Marvel Studious to update its formula and further diversify its output? Should they move beyond the realm of Superheroes and start telling different kinds of stories? Are general audiences finally beginning to show signs of the dreaded condition known as “superhero fatigue”? Have these characters grown stale, or are they evolving before our very eyes? Will Joss Whedon’s departure adversely affect the MCU? Can the Russo Brothers hope to reach the bar he has set? Join us as we explore this latest edition to the MCU canon!
