October 16, 2014 marks the 19th Anniversary of the "Million Man March." This call to action was lead by the honorable "Minister Louis Farrakahn" of the Nation of Islam supported by other groups and organizations such as the National Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), the Reverend Jesse Jackson, and the National African American Leadership Summit just to name a few.
October 16, 1995 was a defining moment for black men all across this country in an effort to deal with the plagues of social injustice in this country. This call to action was to show a united front, and to charge black men to go back home and be responsible for their families and communities.
Join us tonight as we take a look back at this historical occasion. What have we learned from it? Have we prospered since then, if not, "why?" Where do we go from here?

On this episode of the Yanks Go Yard Series Preview Show, brought to you by Knoda.com, host and senior staff writer Ricky Keeler will recap the New York Yankees series with the Toronto Blue Jays. What does Ricky take away from the Yankees losing 2 of 3 vs. Toronto for the third straight time and the team's losing road trip. Plus, who is he watching in September as the rosters will expand to 40 players starting on Monday?
Then, Sean Sylver of BoSox Injection joins the show to look ahead to the Red Sox-Yankees three-game series at Yankee Stadium this week. Since the last time these two teams played, the Red Sox signed Rusney Castillo from Cuba to a seven-year deal. What were Sean's thoughts on the deal and when could Castillo get his major league debut? Plus, is this Red Sox team possibly worse than the Bobby Valentine led Red Sox from two seasons ago?
Ricky and Sean will also breakdown the pitching matchups and give you their players to watch in the series. You can voice your opinion on this upcoming series or any other Yankees' news by calling into the live portion of the show: (347)-324-5455 or tweet us: @YGYRadioShow
