    Girl Code 101

    in Entertainment

Tonights show is about Girl Code 101. YES there is a such a thing. Like....is it OK to sleep with your friends baby daddy while in another country on vacation...and you just SO happened to run into him? Is it ok for you to date my7th grade boyfriend and were 40 years old now? Is it ok for you to see your homegirls boyfriend doing shady shit and you keep it a secret? Is it ok for you to withold information from a friend because you value another persons friendship and he happens to have a penis? Is it ok for you to EVER in the history of LIFE talk to any man that I even in my fantasy liked? If you answer YES to any of these questions you are likely a WHORE and theres a reason why were NOT friends. I take Girl Code VERY seriously. From the looks of it MEN do too. 75% of all homicides are done by people that knew each other. A large percentage of that was over money or love. Dont be a victim...learn to stay in your lane or get left behind...or ran over.

Non-Profits: You Can't Live With Them and You Can't Live Without Them

    in Business

My apologies for not broadcasting this episode on Thursday, November 26, 2015.

Non-Profits,This Episode of Enrichment Radio focuses on those people who work with a Non-Profit, (Director, Board Member or Staff Member).  Non-Profits are supposed to serve the needs of others, but unfortunately they become so focused on themselves they forget the reason they were created.

In this Episode I will talk about the three things a Non-Profit needs to focus on to remain viable and valuable to the community.  I'll talk about the years experience I had while working in and woth Non-Profits.  I'll talk about those Non-Profits that 'got it' and those that, well, still don't have a clue.

Check out the video I made: "Non-Profit Strategic Planning" https://youtu.be/1xA1F-Dg5a4

Guest: Korie Robertson:Strong and Kind and Headlines of the Day

    in Christianity

It's never been more important to teach your children well. What America needs today are parents who don't just say they value these virtues but who live them and passionately and boldly teach them to their children. It's up to me and you and every parent in America to make the necessary changes to give our children the opportunity to change the world. We do that by instilling good character traits in them so that they will be capable of being the adults our world needs - Korie Robertson. Many parents want to see positive character traits in their children but wonder how to instill them. As stars of the hit reality-TV show Duck Dynasty, Korie and Willie Robertson receive loads of letters and messages from fans asking how they've raised such good kids. As they will tell you, 'it isn't always easy, but raising kids with good character is possible.' A straight-forward, practical approach to parenting, Strong and Kind helps you identify the character traits you want to see in your children and gives you the tools for putting them in place. Besides strength and kindness other character traits include: Self-Control, Honesty, Compassion, Patience, Joyfulness, Loyalty, Humility. By modeling positive traits, with confidence, consistency, creativity, unity, and in truth and love, you can increase the chances of your kids catching on. At the end of the day, the Duck Dynasty stars say the most important thing you can do for your children is what they do at the end of every episode: hand them over to God in prayer.

Micah could step right in to today's news!

    in Christianity

The Christian is suppose to speak out on things that are not right.  Problem is we don't want to be disliked, lose our position, maybe even our job.   In a small, rural area like West Virginia a lost job can lead to losing family, home, and it's hard to bounce back from this.

Are You Charlie: A Pre World AIDS Day Conversation.

    in Lifestyle

I don't think anyone really cares that Charlie Sheen has HIV. His behavior while infected is what has people in an uproar. However, -sad to say- Charlie Sheen is no different than the countless other HIV positive individuals who fail to disclose prior to sex. Being that HIV still has a polarizing stigma associated with it can we blame people for not disclosing?

Would YOU disclose if you had it?

    Do YOU know your status?

Do YOU know the status of your partners?

Have YOU ever had unsafe sex?

This episode is going to discuss why HIV is still a raging epidemic amidst all the methods of prevention. We will also exchange about what needs to be done to get communities (of color) more involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
