OUR TIME HAS COME TO WALK TALL IN OUR UNDERSTANDING OF WHO WE ARE

    in Spirituality

I believe that each of you have been feeling a quickening in your spiritual heart,a quickening of divine knowing that is whispering to you saying ...Our time has come to walk tall in our understanding of who we are, and what we represent in the world.

Believe me when I say, You can not go on in this world pretending that you have Faith when you do not!

Marie Dolores McCohnell who is our guest co-host has a B.A. degree in psychology and a M.S. degree in the education of the gifted. She has also received formal training and certified in many health centered modalities including reflexology, aroma therapy, mental and spiritual health via education, mentoring, counseling and intervention. Marie specializes as a life-path and spiritual-path mentor.

    Excerpt from Rudyard Kipling poem

If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you But make allowance for their doubting too, If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don't deal in lies, Or being hated, don't give way to hating, And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream--and not make dreams your master, If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,

Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools: If all men count with you, but none too much, If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds' worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son! Wanda's Picks Radio Show: Dance Mission's D.I.R.T. - Dance In Revolt(ing) Times

    in Art

This is a black arts and culture site. We will be exploring the African Diaspora via the writing, performance, both musical and theatrical (film and stage), as well as the visual arts of Africans in the Diaspora and those influenced by these aesthetic forms of expression. I am interested in the political and social ramifications of art on society, specifically movements supported by these artists and their forebearers. It is my claim that the artists are the true revolutionaries, their work honest and filled with raw unedited passion. They are our true heroes. Ashay!

Craig Solon, Mens Spiritual Hour Radio show, Tuesday, Dec 16, 8pm EST

    in Spirituality

The Men’s Spiritual Radio Hour- A show about men and their Spiritual Journey

Guest for our Tuesday December 16 show is going to be Craig Solon

Craig Sloan is the resident psychic and owner of Blu lotus in Montclair, NJ.  He opened in 1995 when he was 25 years old because of an intense interest in the esoteric.  Craig had been having psychic and out of body experiences since he could remember.

Wanting very much to find a regular occupation Craig went to college for business and had no idea his life would leads him to where he is today.  Craig used to do readings with normal; playing cards when he was in his pre teens and also had a strong interest in astrology.

Coming from a strong religious background he felt a little uneasy about his interest and put them away for a while for normal high school and college experiences.

When Craig got out into the work field although having a good work ethic he felt lost and finally decided to throw it all in the basket and open a metaphysical center.  At least here he could learn more from reading books and being around people in the field.

Craig originally had psychics who worked at the center while he was up front at the desk doing business as usual.  One day due to an emergency one of the psychics could not come in to work and it was suggested to Craig that he be the reader for that day.

The Don S. McClure Show Live - The problem with being CONFIDENT

    in Lifestyle

The Don S. McClure LIve- THE PROBLEM WITH BEING CONFIDENT.

Tonight’s Topic: The problem with being confident:

Being confident has always been one word that most people find hard to understand.

Most of the time it is confused with the word arrogance or it’s meaning.

Especially when men of value use and display this quality in the conquest of their dreams. For women men who lake this trait or have a hard time displaying it in their daily lives seem to be thought of as being intimidated by their beauty or intelligence.

Which is never the case, for men who are confident.

The men and shall I say those who lead or feel they must meet their life’s destiny are never imitated because they are true craftsmen’s of the very word confidence, using its power to persuade or guide others to the very ends of what they want to achieve.

Featured Film: Princes of Foxes: Staring Tyrone Power, Orsen Wells, and Everet Sloan

    Film produced December 23, 1949

In August 1500, Andrea Orsini (Tyrone Power), an artistic minor nobleman who is equally skilled with the brush, the sword, words, and women, serves the Machiavellian Prince Cesare Borgia (Orson Welles) as a soldier.
