Kansas City native Tyson Leslie has quite the storied background throughout the Midwest club and bar scene.  As a sideman for the likes of Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour), Gavin DeGraw, Carmine Appice (Rod Stewart, Vanilla Fudge, etc), George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob) and as a temporary member of Red Line Chemistry (touring with Whitesnake) people have gotten to know Leslie for his easy going manner and, above all else, his diversity and his chops. Now the time has come for the singer / multi-instrumentalist to show the world what he can do on his own.  And what he does best is impress.  On his self released album, Train Wrecks, Havoc & Heartbreak, Tyson tackles everything from 70's glam to upbeat rock tracks, humor and sensitive ballads, wrapping it all into one nice little power pop package.

Singer David Justin & Guitarist Daddy-O's Bunker

    in Comedy

Growing up in a musical family, it was only a matter of time before David Justin decided to follow his family’s footsteps. A singer/songwriter from Houston, TX, David began his musical career at the early age of eight years old when he learned how to play the violin. Within two years, he was winning local and regional competitions. At the age of 12, he picked up the drums, and by the age of 17, he began crafting his songwriting skills and playing the guitar. Once David honed all of his musical skills, he decided to make music his career.
With his recent performance at Gap’s live acoustic music event and his nomination as a finalist for ‘best original song’ with the 6th annual International Acoustic Music Awards, David’s musical talent has not gone unnoticed.
David Deakman, aka, Daddy-O's Bunker, will join the MAC crew to talk about his music career. David is former metal guitar player who played in local original hard rock bands Trench and Kompany of Kings, but always had roots in the blues and a passion for song writing. Influences are very diverse and guitar driven from Johnny Winter to UFO, Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Dokken, Ratt and everything in between.
The days of leather pants and spandex are long gone. The influences have shifted to the alt country/heavy blues genre where the song writing is the priority but continues to be very guitar driven. Bands like Govt Mule, North Mississippi All Stars, Joe Bonamassa, Black Keys and Blackberry Smoke are in the current play list.
David currently plays guitar and vocals in his power trio band Deadbrokedown, that plays all original music all round San Diego county.
