“Transformation is never easy or painless, but essential to the growth of our soul.” Elizabeth Gilbert
For some of us, we instinctively know that where we’re at in our lives at that moment isn’t right for us, but change is difficult. We know there’s a greater calling for our lives than the one we’re living in, but we’re not sure of the path or the destination. There is no map for this sort of thing.
So, we’re stuck in this place of not being able to go back and not being able to move forward. Because we know instinctively that once we take that step, life will never be the same.
So it is with the sacred thresholds of our lives.
If you’re standing at your own threshold, if you hear your life whispering and if you’d like someone to help guide you along the journey, let’s get on the phone for a free 30 minute Truth & Clarity Session. This call will help you:
Get a crystal clear vision for your life,
Know what’s keeping you from having the life and love you desire, and
An understanding of your best next steps.
Tell the Truth. Show up in Love. Live in Freedom.
During last week's show, Amirah and I established that truth-telling should be part of any relationship. Yet, it's harder to tell the truth than one may think, upon first consideration. Even though truth-telling among all men is an issue, we are focusing upon African American men. Do WE really want to tell the truth? We want to welcome Russell Ligon, author of Stuck On Maleness, as our guest for the show. We're going to get to the truth, no pun intended. Tune in Monday at 10 p.m.!!!

It sounds like a silly quesiton at first to say why do we have the relationships we have. Of course we want to share life with others and share time and meals and adventures. Yet why the people we are with, the places that we share with each other, the conversations that we enjoy talking about and the things that define each relationship? The clues to who we are are right before as we ask of life, what am I here for and what am I supposed to be doing? Christ speaks that everyday ends as it should. What is your life telling you about yourself today? Tune in today at 3:30 PM PST and Join in on the conversations!
Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! is NPR's weekly hour-long quiz program. Each week on the radio listeners can test ther knowledge against some of the best and brightest in the news and entertainment world while figuring out what's real news and what's made up. Prior to becoming host of Wait Wait in 1998, Peter had a varied career including stints as a playwright, screenwriter, stage director, actor, extra in a Michael Jackson video, travel writer, essayist, ghostwriter and staff writer for a motorcycle magazine. In October 2007, Harper Collins published Peter's first book, The Book of Vice: Naughty Things and How to Do Them, a series of essays about bad behavior, which was released in paperback in 2008. Does the Constitution have what it takes to keep up with modern America? Join Peter Sagal, host of NPR’s Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! as he hits the road to find out. Traveling across the country by motorcycle, Sagal is in search of where the U.S. Constitution lives, how it works and how it doesn’t… how it unites us as a nation and how it has nearly torn us apart.
We'll also take an online road trip to Ken's Cedar Keyside DIner in Cedar Key, Florida.

Well I am doing the last show for a while here on Blog Talk Radio, and what I am talking about is what I am currently going through, which is a transition for both the show, myself and my life. So I believe the topic of transitions is very relevant to the discussion today. How do we deal with transitions, what is it all about? Well lets find out. Please be sure to follow me onto the new format, that will be up and running the first week of November. I know it was going to be a continuous transition but I decided to allow it to unfold the way it needed to, so that is why it is going to happen in November. Hope you follow me to You Tube.
Love, laughter and light,
Much has been said in recent years regarding "character". It is true that we need to have character before the Lord and those that we come in contact with, but what does that mean.
The Lord has allowed me to make some observations and has given me some direction in this matter. Join me today and let's take a look at this important subject.
