Our guest: Mark Hexum
Join us this evening as Mark Hexum tells of his journey through divorce court in Illinois. In what has to be one of the most salacious and obviously rigged cases we have examined, Mark came face to face with the corruption in family courts, especially those in Illinois.
After enduring a horrible marriage, Mark was threatened by both his and his ex-wife's attorneys with paying as much as 60% of his gross pay in alimony to coerce him into a settlement that left him borrowing to support himself and his children .
Mark has exhausted the usual legal channels in an effort to get fair treatment in the Illinois courts. He has carefully documented the relationship of key players in the system who became involved in one way or another in his case. He has discovered what so many others have; this has nothing to do with the law, justice or even simple morality.

We're discussing Divorce Court's Judge Lynn's powerful message tonight on Taboo Talks. Take a listen in with us and call in with your thoughts tonight if you like.
First women were blaming the men. Now its all about the men blaming the women for laying down with dead beat men... So who's talking to the deadbeat men and holding them accountable as well?
Is there nothing to say to those men who also are helping to break up the family dynamic? Is it fine to say that men can be weaker sexually and it therefore justify only blaming the women and never blasting the men who are supposed to take the lead?
Kirk Stange and John Kershman talk about good tips for clients testifying in family and divorce court. You can read more on this topic on www.stangelawfirm.com in an article titled Ten recommendations for testifying in divorce court.

The Thursday, Janurary 21, show will feature shocking information about the ease with which a judge can assign a Guardian-ad-Litem to a minor, a mental incompetent, or "all persons not in being." This can be done WITHOUT a hearing, in Colorado family courts, to determine incompetence! Why would a judge do something like this? The courts are giving third-party guardians-ad-litem, these complete strangers with unfettered power, medical and financial decision making over YOUR FAMILY.
The Fourth Branch with host Debbie Carroll: CONTINUATION AND UPDATES of Unlimited Power of Guardians-ad Litem. 6 - 8 pm PST / 7 - 9 pm MST / 8 - 10 pm CST/ 9 - 11 pm EST. GUARDIANS-AD-LITEM have the power to replace the ability of blood relatives to determine what is best for their own family members. GALs continue to gain "privilege" over medical, financial, and other life decisions for your beloved children, teens, disabled, and elderly. Beware the appointment of a guardian-ad-litem, the attorney for the State, to represent the interests of your child in juvenile or divorce courts, or in alleged criminal cases or truancy cases, and of elderly in probate courts. Our featured guest will be Luanne Fleming who will be explaining the differences between guardianship and court appointment of guardians-ad-litem. YOU MUST EDUCATE YOURSELVES ABOUT THE POWER OF GALs. Raquel Benavidez welcomes Anthony Baca Jr, child of divorce, advocate, Bernie Sanders supporter, loving man and my son. Aj was just 4 yrs old when his father and I divorced. He is here to share with us his story and perspective of all things divorce. Many times, we as the adults think we are doing our best, but it’s not always easy. While the adults were making the decisions, it was Aj that dealt with the consequences. AJ will be sharing his thoughts on the early years and how it all turned out in the end.
AJs perspective on the whole scenario of divorce and blended families is so important for parents to listen to. It was difficult for all of us through the transition, but for him mostly. Aj now sees the beauty in our relationship and how his family actually didn’t break apart, but grew. He now has 4 brothers and sisters that love him unconditionally and a stepmother that is supportive, along with his two parents that are just crazy about him.
AJ Baca lives in New Mexico with his family. He works with American Airlines and loves to travel. He enjoys politics and playing video games.
