     Dr. John DeGarmo has worn many hats throughout his life. Singing and dancing while touring around the world in the international super group, Up With People, serving as a D.J. at four different radio stations on two different continents, working in the professional wrestling industry, teaching English and Drama at the high school level, and working as a media specialist at two different schools, Dr. DeGarmo has had a variety of experiences. Dr. DeGarmo has a B.A. in History, a Masters in Media Technology, a Masters in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Walden University. Dr. DeGarmo wrote his dissertation on Responding to the Needs of Foster Children Face While in Rural Schools.  He is the author of several foster care books, including the training book The Foster Parenting Manual: A Practical Guide to Creating a Loving, Safe, and Stable Home,  as well as the foster care children's book A Different Home: A New Foster Child's Story. Dr. DeGarmo is a dynamic speaker and informative trainer on the foster care system, and travels extensively, meeting with foster parents, child welfare workers, churches, schools, and organizations.  He writes regularly for many magazines, and is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post, several publications, and newsletters, both in the United States and in Europe. Dr. DeGarmo is married to Dr. Kelly DeGarmo, who hails from Australia, and the two of them have six children, both biological and adoptive.  Dr. DeGarmo and his wife are also currently foster parents to three siblings, bringing their household to nine children.  Dr. DeGarmo has been a foster parent for dozens of children for over a decade now.

     Glenn was also given the name Kizhe Naabe (Ojibwe for “Kind-Hearted Man),” is a writer, educational consultant, international speaker, entrepreneur, and visionary whose life-long passion is to reform thinking and education into a coherent, cohesive whole. The founder and past president of the SEED Institute, Parry is currently the president of the think tank: The Circle for Original Thinking. He earned his BA in Psychology from Allegheny College and then went on to earn both his MA in East-West Psychology and his PhD in Humanities with a concentration in Transformative Learning from the California Institute of Integral Studies.

Duran); in “SEED Thoughts on Dialogue,” ReVision Journal (Winter 2004), “Native Wisdom in a Quantum World,” Shift (IONS Journal, December 2005), and in his doctoral dissertation: SEED Graduate Institute: An Original Model of Transdisciplinary Education Informed by Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Dialogue. As we continue our discussions on the topic of the Reformation during Reformation Month, we will be examining The New Perspective on Paul regarding the Doctrine of Justification espoused by theologians such as Dr. N.T. Wright.. Joining us for this discussion will be Dr. Bill Roach. Dr. Roach is editor of the Journal of the International Society of Christian Apologetics. He holds a PhD from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Theology and Philosophy of Religion and a graduate degree from Southern Evangelical Seminary. During his doctoral studies, Dr. Roach studied hermeneutics, biblical theology, systematic theology, and epistemology. His dissertation focused on Carl F. H. Henry’s epistemological approach to hermeneutics, culminating in a dissertation titled, “Hermeneutics as Epistemology: A Critical Analysis of Carl F. H. Henry’s Epistemological Approach to Hermeneutics.”

    Dr. Roach currently teaches adjunctively at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and serves as a worldview trainer for Focus on the Family’s Truth Project. He is also the co-author of Defending Inerrancy: Affirming the Accuracy of Scripture for a New Generation, receiving endorsements from J. I. Packer, R. Albert Mohler, John MacArthur, J. P. Moreland, and Earl Radmacher. Lastly, he has contributed to the work, The Jesus Quest: The Danger From Within, a revealing book on the contemporary drift of many evangelicals from the complete historicity and total inerrancy of the New Testament.
