States Allowing LGBT Discrimination In Trouble & Campaigns Threaten Delegates

    in Politics

Supporters from TWO different campaigns are making threats to Delegates - sometimes involving their families.

These are the "We KNOW where you LIVE" type of threats, and they are legally actionable.

    AND

There has been SOME movement by North Carolina's governor to walk back a law HE SIGNED, but it appears to be too little, too late.

In fact, I stated that these bans on anti-discrimination laws that would prevent local municipalities from banning discrimination against the LGBT community are unconstitutional - and some courts have ALREADY passed judgment AGAINST these bans and discriminatory laws.

Now the Navy has involved itself in this cluster f**k. They are on the side of "Right" - and I do NOT mean "right-wing," either.

Join me while we discuss these - as Jimmy Buffet called them, STUPID Laws," AND crazy campaign supporters - LIVE - Tonight at 11:30.

We live in a world where being the “other” means much more than being different – it means “not being as good as." While many people openly preach equality and loving all people, the practice does not seem to be in line with the message. What can be done? When people are being openly discriminated against, do you stand up, or ignore it because you are not the victim? Or do you join in the discrimination because you agree with it? Is it hypocritical to believe in “equality”, and have stipulations? What do you do when faced with a person who discriminates and/or is hypocritical? Join us on this polarizing topic and lend your voice to an important conversation.

Discrimination in the world? Part 2 with suicide

    in Friends

Hello and Good Saturday Night and Welcome to Chica show I am your host Mayra AKA "CHICA" and today I am going to continue to my topic because there so many information about the word "DISCRIMINATION" Last week I had two sisters who were my co-host and they were tell me some good story what they went through and how they were discrimination. No matter what happen if you are woman gay men black white Hispanic short tall. if you believe or not believe in God it don't matter what it is don't discriminated them just because if they have a bumper sticker saying I am a pagan or I am a Wicca or I am atheist or i am a christen or Muslim or Islam or Hindu etc... you know I do not like to talk about religion and politics.  but with a situation like this I have no choice.. sometimes when you see something that really bother you a lot what people who are going through they need the support.. and don't hate them just because of the color race religion.. sometime we need peace in this world but that will not happen because people judge other people..

In The Streets with Beverley Smith: Discrimination Season (Episode 60)

    in Politics

Spring has sprung and several U.S. states have seen this as the perfect time to sow the seeds of discrimination and oppression.

North Carolina passed a vicious anti-LGBTQ bill, HB2. It was introduced and passed, all in one day! NC Attorney General announced he will not defend the "shameful" law. Hot on North Carolina's heels, Georgia passed the anti-gay "Religious Freedom" bill. On Monday, Governor Nathan Deal vetoed the bill as he declared he would.

Inmates in New York are routinely denied feminine menstrual products and supplies. Often this is a tactic used to control and punish. A New York City councilwoman is trying to change this.

Kansas students get a $2500 reward if they rat on their transgender classmates for being in the "wrong" bathroom.

In Arizona, where polling places have been cut back statewide, the Phoenix mayor has called on a federal investigation into voting problems. Arizona cut back the number of polling places statewide, but for some reason, the city of Phoenix where minorities comprise the majority of the population, got a disproportionately small number of voting stations.

In Brooklyn, the DA recommends no jail time for Peter Liang, the police officer who killed Akai Gurley. In Oklahoma, Daniel Holtzclaw, the cop who was convicted of raping 13 black women, is no longer listed in the Oklohoma prison system. This makes it difficult for his victims who filed a lawsuit against him.

A scathing report by an independent investigations task force says the the state of Michigan, under the leadership of Gov. Rick Synder, was "fundamentally accountable" for the Flint tap water poisoning.

In Brooklyn, Glen Grays was doing his job delivering the mail. He was harrassed and beaten up by four cops for criticising their driving.

A 27 year old woman, Loreal Tsingine, was killed by police in Arizona.

The North Carolina Anti-LGBT Bill...help me understand the discrimination.

    in Podcasting

There is big uproar of the the Anti-LGBT bill that was passed by the state of North Carolina in March that says businesses can't make rules or regulations benefitting specifically people of the LGBT Community. Reading the laws, I'm not seeing the true discrimination that people are saying that exist from this bill being passed. I'm not seing where the issue is. I just want to understand. This is not condeming, I'm looking for clarity.

APR Inside Look at Discrimination Against the Mentally Disabled.

    in Psychology

As a disabled veteran, you would think that I would have no problem landing a job, girlfriend/wife, or a nice place to live. Not bad returns for good deeds either, but I am sure that everyone has experienced it, and that is discrimination. Discrimination among the mentally ill or physically challenged people happens everyday and is hard to prove. So what is this show all about? It will be about discrimination amongst the mentally ill. Since it is more acceptable to have physical ailments in society, we will leave the people in that category alone, and worry only about discrimination with mentally ill. This will be a 30 minute episode with host Jory and there will be no phonecalls this show.
