This month's show topic is “Trial By Fire” is a documentary based on RSD/CRPS created by Celebrity Chef Charles Mattocks, as seen on CNN, Dr. Oz, The Today Show and many more mainstream media across the United States and around the world. Charles is also a best-selling author, World Diabetes Advocate and film-maker. Charles’ mother, who is the sister of the late legendary reggae legend Bob Marley, was diagnosed with RSD/CRPS about 4 years ago. Charles, who also recently lost his father from cancer, was moved to create Trial By Fire after seeing his father’s loss and wanting to help his mother who seemingly is at a point where he is in fear of losing two parents in a very short span. Star Trek: Captain Pike will be produced by Rigel 7 Productions and directed by Jeff Trek's special guest Director Todd Shawn Tei.
If you saw the original series Star Trek pilot “The Cage”, then you remember Captain Pike discussing his previous mission with the ship’s doctor and seeing many flashbacks throughout the episode. At the beginning of The Cage, set in 2254, Pike and his crew are recuperating from a mission to Rigel VII during which several members of the landing party were killed by inhabitants. The incident filled Pike with so much guilt that he is actually considered resigning his commission. In “Encounter at Rigel” you will see this story for the first very time. The original series never showed us what really happened, only quick flashbacks, but never the whole story. Now, finally, after all these years, Director Todd Shawn Tei brings us this entire epic story and you get an extremely special preview right here on Jeff Trek. Get your com-lock and beam on board. \\//,

HIS NAME WAS Iñigo de Loyola. He was born in 1491 to a rich family, youngest of eight boys, one of thirteen children. His older brother had sailed to the New World with
Christopher Columbus. Iñigo served as a page in the court of King Ferdinand and
Queen Isabella of Spain. He became friends with Ferdinand’s Belgian grandson, Charles Habsburg, whose other grandfather was Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian. (The Holy Roman Emperor was a kind of secular pope who presided over the Christian kingdoms of the western world.) Charles was propelled to great authority before his twenty-first birthday by the deaths of his two grandfathers within a space of two years. From Ferdinand, Charles inherited Spain. From Maximilian, he inherited the Holy Roman Empire. Charles Habsburg was King Charles I of Spain, Emperor Charles V of Rome. He was the most powerful secular figure in Europe. And he was Iñigo’s friend.
In 1518, Iñigo was part of a legation negotiating for Charles with Spain’s traditional rival, France, at the court of the Duke of Najera in Valladolid. While the summit was in session, Catherina, the Emperor’s sister, was presented to the Najera court. Iñigo fell
in love with her. He was twenty-seven and she was eleven. (The Emperor was eighteen.) The match, however, was not to be.

http://www.hhs.gov/healthcare/rights/A Fight over Health Care is Occurin all over the United States but in Tennesse Heroes are fighting Back. Pamela Weston, Randall Rice and his wife retired therpist Meryl Rice were determined not to let their neighbors go uninsured. Learn how they launched a campaign for ACA.Pamela Weston is a grandmother in East TN who organized a 70 mile walk through her state senate district to reach out to those in the healthcare coverage gap resulting from Tennessee's decision not to expand Medicaid. Her Insure TN Journey for Justice crossed a rural senate district through five counties in an effort to reach out to the district's nearly 15,000 uninsured adults. Meryl Rice is a retired psychotherapist whose last position was as the Director of Crisis Services for a mental health agency which covers five rural counties in West TN. She also has many years experience in the healthcare field working in med-surg hospitals . Her 40 year experience has made her acutely aware of how access to affordable healthcare affects not only individuals and families, but the community at large. After retirement, Meryl and her husband Randall Rice took it upon themselves to promote the Affordable Care Act and initially trained to be navigators/certified application counselors. When there were no "sponsoring agencies" near them willing to take on the responsibility of volunteers, they decided to launch out on their own. However, they hit another roadblock.
