The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab - The Last Ride of Pete Rose and more

    in Sports

Welcome to "The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab", hosted by "The Mad Scientist of Sports" Nick Ficorelli. This is not the average everyday sports show he is bringing to the air waves. "The Mad Scientist" has created his own personal sports lab, and you, the audience, as well as many of his special guests, will be his test subjects. He will throw theories out, and you never know where they will be coming from. He will keep everyone guessing, and he will open his lab to any and all comers. And this time, he is bringing in his top apprentice to help him run the lab - "Stat Boy" Andrew Gluchov, formerly of WTMY 1280AM Sarasota and The Sports Chronicles Radio Network. Be prepared for "mad science" sports talk at its best.

Tonight is another jam-packed episode as we talk about MLB and The Pete Rose Saga/Tragedy, Football, NBA Draft Ewview and much more. At 10pm,we have Chris Mitchell and Tony Cincotta of RotoExperts joining us to talk about the Pete Rose saga, and whether or not the nail in the coffin to his HOF chances was given, and a little fantasy talk as well. At 1030pm, we welcome back Robert D. Cobb and Steven Pearce from The Inscriber, to talk some NFL - training camps, OTAs, and any other interesting stories out there. At 1100pm, we welcome FanSided's Mike Pendleton to give his review of the NBA Draft - Winners, Losers, Shockers, Sleepers, et al.. And, at 1130pm, we welcome Mark T. Wilson of TruLuvSports to give his take on the NBA Draft as well.

The beacons are lit, the experiments are on the chalk board, and the test subjects are at the ready. The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab is now OPEN for business.

CALL 347.884.9239 TO SPEAK WITH THE NUYORK, KIESHA AND THE BRAINTRUST!

FOOLS GOLD WRITTEN BY JILL SCOTT

Oh, silly me my dear, for thinking that you'd stay
Gave you my heart and then you ran away
Either I'm stupid, I'm foolish, or you're playing me
But it seems we were never really meant to be

So I thought I would try something new
I wanted to find out if I could live happy without you
And it turned out I wasn't living at all
I'd rather never known if you had just played along

I was living the dream believing things that just ain't true
Oh I can't believe I ever believed in you
You had me chasing fool's gold
    I was chasing fool's gold
    I was chasing fool's gold

So I did that inside knowing you weren't right
For breaking the spell was a plan I never did right
I wanna be here forever if it's for you
But I would had been living forever as your fool

I was blinded to my core
And I went into the wrong door
    And furthermore

I was living the dream believing things that just ain't true
Oh I can't believe I ever believed in you
You had me chasing fool's gold
    I was chasing fool's gold
    I was chasing fool's gold

I was living the dream believing things that just ain't true
Oh I can't believe I ever believed in you
You had me chasing fool's gold
    I was chasing fool's gold
    I was chasing fool's gold

    The Edge with Casssandre Dayne

    in Entertainment

Join Cassandre Dayne as she highlights artists who take their works to the edge. On Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 2pm EST, Pembroke Sinclair will talk with Cassandre on her latest release, her work with the Forsaken Imprint at Booktrope and her fascination with writing.

She has written an eclectic mix of fiction ranging from horror to sci-fi and even some westerns. Born in Rock Springs, Wyoming--the home of 56 nationalities--it is no wonder Pembroke ended up so creatively diverse. Her fascination with the notions of good and evil, demons and angels, and how the lines blur have inspired her writing. Pembroke lives in Laramie, Wyoming, with her husband, two spirited boys, a black lab named Ryder, and a rescue kitty named Alia, who happens to be the sweetest, most adorable kitty in the world! She cannot say no to dessert, orange soda, or cinnamon. She loves rats and tatts and rock and roll and wants to be an alien queen when she grows up.

    Join and enjoy...if you dare...
