The inevitable happens....you die. Your family members make funeral arrangements, take care of your property and review your will. That’s usually what happens when you die. But now we live in an age where many of our files, documents, pictures, businesses, and social accounts are on digital formats...online.
What happens to your digital life? Have you made everyone aware of your passwords? What about your iPhone pictures...how will your family retrieve them to share for future generations? It's a question that many people have not thought about and don't make preparations for.
Luci and Anthony will discuss the topic of digital afterlife with the author of the book Your Digital Afterlife - Evan Carroll. We'll review the steps you can take to prepare for things and what can and cannot happen after you have passed on with your digital and social media.
Tune in, Call In and Listen in! (661) 244-9831
Dr. Aikyna Finch and Jessica Leichtweisz will be joined on the Empowering Women Series by Carla Wynn, Founder of The Women's Empowerment Network, as she discusses The Importance of Empowerment Through Social Media. Carla Wynn will discuss two very important topics that seem different but are closely related. Her work in the field of subconscious and her love of technology have allowed her to be an "Empowerment Diva" who is also a highly sought after Website Artist. She believes that when we shift our thoughts just a small bit that great reveals come our way. In business having an impactful website presence also invokes many hidden fears of success. She is currently spearheading a book anthology Empowered Women of Facebook: 44 women Break the Chains of Silence by Tapping into the POWER of Virtual Relationships and Shifting their Personal Paradigm. Call in at (949) 203-4763 or chat in at 9pm EST/ 8pm CST on 8/21 and join the conversation. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/changingmindsonline/2014/08/22/empowering-women-series--the-importance-of-empowerment-through-social-media
This Friday's Critical Conversations begins with Texans Dr. Jim Picht and attorney James Edwards discussing the indictment of Governor Rick Perry.
Perry has been indicted for "coercion" and abuse of power because he refused to fund the office of DA Rosemary Lehmberg after losing confidence following her belligerent behavior during a DUI arrest.
A grand jury indicted Texas governor Rick Perry this week on abuse of power charges, and he was arraigned on Wednesday complete with mug shot and fingerprints.
Perry has been supported by some surprising liberal leaders, including Alan Dershowitz, but has also been slammed by others.
Staying stateside, the conversation will move to Ferguson, Missouri and the clashes between police and residents following the killing of 18 year-old Michael Brown.
Our guest tonight will be Kerry Trahan a 1988 graduate of West Point Military Academy. He served 11 years active and reserve service as an office in the United States Army. He is a graduate of the military police officers advance course.
The question of the relationship between police and resident is under a bright light and Kerry and Jim Picht will talk about whether Darren Wilson could have had options other than using lethal force with Michael Brown.
We hope you will listen in to the live show, Friday evening at 6:30 pm (right here) and call in with your thoughts.
We are then going to turn to the Middle East and ISIS. Communities Editor in Chief Lisa Ruth, a former CIA analyst and intelligence expert, who will join Jim and Kerry to discuss the threat of ISIS, the beheading of photojournalist Jim Foley.

Today we're going to talk about the Ripple Effect of Empowerment.
When the repercussions of an event or situation are experienced far beyond its immediate location - such as when you drop a rock into a pool of water and the ripples keep going outward - away from where you are - that is the Ripple Effect.
It is a spreading effect or series of consequences caused by a single action or event. These ripples can be positive or negative - depending on what you did and who is affected by it. By making sure your words and actions are positive, you can literally spread the Ripple Effect everywhere you go, to everyone you meet.
You may not realize the effect of Empowerment you have on others. In fact, you may never know if what you did or said helped someone decide to become Empowered themselves. But you can be sure that if you continually produce the Ripple Effect of Empowerment, the lives of others will change. In turn, the world will become a better place.
Join Teresa Beeman this morning for a 30-minute discussion about the Ripple Effect of Empowerment.
This show is brought to you by the Center For Empowered Women.com and can be heard every Monday and Wednesday at 11:00 am Eastern time.
Check out 52 Days to a More Empowered Life. It starts September 1.
When you yourself anybody can find you... When you don't respect , noone will respect you. When you settle you will loose your importance and people will not make the effort to get to know you. When you have a friend with benefits and the benefits are deadly...How beneficial is that really to you?
Today Jean Maurie and Maggie Lukowski are excited to have Jean Meltesen as our guest.
Jean Meltesen is a personal freedom coach, spiritual counselor, author, and practitioner of energy psychology, with special emphasis on Emotional Freedom technique or EFT, also known as tapping. Jean has had advanced training and experience in EFT. She has also studied and practiced reiki, healing touch and quantum touch, and has had more than thirty-five years of spiritual study in multiple traditions and philosophies.
Because of her profound experiences with tapping, which greatly assisted her own healing process when other modalities failed, her practice with clients focuses mainly on EFT, with consistent and powerful benefits of releasing trapped emotions, dismantling limiting beliefs and belief systems, letting go of the effects of trauma, releasing physical pain, and eliminating phobias and addictions, as well as shifting perspectives on success, money, relationships, and many other areas, especially those of self-love, self-forgiveness, and personal freedom.
Jean’s practice also includes veterans diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress, and she participates as an EFT practitioner in healing retreats for veterans and their partners, using EFT to support veterans in releasing the effects of combat, as well as assisting their partners to relieve associated stress from living with the traumatized veteran. Jean finds this work deeply rewarding, and it is in alignment with her greatest passion of supporting clients in finding true personal freedom through self-love and self-forgiveness.
Jean currently lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She works in person or by skype or phone, and can be reached by email or phone:

God In the Midst otherwise known as G.I.T.M or GITM is an apostolic ministry whose charge is to help encourage, edify and equip the people of God who are called to Home Churches, Small Churches and Para Church ministries. Home or house Churches usually have 20 people or less, Small Churches are up to 100 adults and Para Church ministries could be Bible Studies, Prayer groups, men or women’s ministries that are not Churches in and of themselves but walk alongside the Church. We are featuring one Home, Small or Para Church ministry each month by interviewing them. We hope that as you hear them tell their personal testimonies, share with us their history and current activities, the Lord will confirm what He has placed on your heart or it may encourage you to step out boldly …it may even catapult you to that next dimension in the Lord & ministry. Our Host is Apostle Barbara Kizzie
