    Couch Conversations .... Wellness

    in Lifestyle

This month we are diving into the mind, body, spirit triangle. All 3 are connected and interdependent upon each other. If there is disharmony in one part it can lead to dis-ease in another part. Our thought life, our mental, or mindset is constantly under attack. Our physical bodies often display what is going on in our minds. And all of these things wears on your spirit. So this month we are focused on making improvements in how we think and what we think. We will explore detoxing, nutrition, and fitness. We will even be completing a popular 30 day fitness challenge. Please go to BAKI Facebook Page to join us.  For our Spirit we will be honest with ourselves, start or deepen mediations practices, and learn to listen to our bodies.     Couch Conversations is an outreach of Blessed And Know It Ministries and is hosted by our Mindset Demolition Specialist and Motivational Speaker Jasheena Shelton a.k.a. "REVJ!!" Join our FB page or Google Plus so you can stay up to date with all that is going on with Blessed and Know It and Couch Conversations.   Go to our ever-growing website  www.bakiministries.wix.com/baki We are LIVE Every Tuesday and Thursday 7 a.m. EST!! Talk Back Tuesdays: The Black Church Part 2

    in Self Help

It was so good we had to continue the conversation.

Has the Black Church Failed US?

We will continue our conversation on religion, spirituality, and faith. What is holding us back and how can we improve. We will discuss the manipulation and control that is used in the church, church code and how to decipher it, and the lack of focus on mental health, substance abuse, incarceration, and domestic violence in the community, the congregation, and the pulpit..

What are our expectations, experiences, and situations that allow and employ us to go back over and over again.
How many people worship their pastors instead of GOD? Do our churches focus more on Wealth than Health and Soul Saving? Are we representing anything different than we see in the WORLD?

We will also add discussions around the music/musicians, preacher/ reality tv stars, celebrity status, contribution, obligation, and/ or mandate to their parishioners, leadership team, and themselves.

We hope all of you will join us for this discussion of how the one pivotal force in our communities has now turned into a "joke" for many non believers and a "circus" for Christians and believers to gather and become monotonous.

    Come Get on the COUCH!!!!
