The terms "personal power" and "empowerment" are often used to mean the same thing. But are they really, or do they have different meanings?
Quite often people use words that have personal meaning for them - even if a dictionary definition might not agree.
The important thing is whether a person has a word to use - to focus on that will help when things are not going well - something to act as a guide through a dificult time.
Just like finding a word that has personal meaning, a well-developed Plan of Action acts as a compass to build up personal power.
Today's show focuses on Developing Your Personal Empowerment Plan.

Getting Personal with Lisa Vick talk show strives to provide a forum that allows for open, honest, candid, and yes, sometimes tough-love conversations about life, love, pain, and closure.
There is never any judgment or bias because self-love and committed-love should be promoted in all relationships. There is no right or wrong when it comes to feelings. Feelings and emotions are what they are without any given perspective. What is most important is understanding our emotions and channeling these emotions in a direction which brings about positivity as the outcome.
Subject matters range from family relationships, this crazy new age of dating, internet dating do’s and don’ts, sex between consenting adults(no judgment), non-traditional ways of thinking, the new woman of the 21st century and what this has meant for the 21st century man...and much, much more.
Tune in with us once a week on Saturdays at 1:00pm.

Grayson’s Live2Love is an almost perfectly paced conceptualized look at the American pop scene from Aretha Franklin to Sade and from Hall & Oates to Maroon 5. Far more than an above average coverage artist, toss in some wildly creative originals including the first radio single “Afterthoughts” highlighting a prolific ability on soprano sax not to mention the ability to bring the long lost vocal art of scatting back to the modern audience. Who does that? While some of her contemporaries struggle with vocals that are “passable” at best, Grayson is a solid vocalist and uses her ability as flavor and texture without ever seemingly pushing the envelope in search of the elusive crossover hit despite the fact this release contains roughly a half dozen.
