After the break from last weeks show Janet begins with an positive update from the recipients of the previous show's healings. Then, Karen writes in with an issue regarding food – fluctuating from starvation to overeating. As Janet and the HS perform the healing we find this issue stemming from various lifetimes filled with natural disasters, despair, betrayal and abandonment that has in turn manifested into Karens anxious feelings toward over stocking food and her opinions of ideal weight. Next, Eileen writes in about having trouble with her jaw when she sings because it protrudes out which; interestly enough, was from a life of being deformed with a large jaw where she had to overcompensate with creativity turning her lack into a comedy.

DANIEL PARMEGGIANI was born in Venezuela in 1968, and moved to the United States when he was 12 years old. Growing up in a household traumatized by the violent death of his older brother, and caught between two radically different parental worldviews, young Daniel often felt guilty, isolated and depressed. Finally, at age 17, after failing to find relief in either religion or psychoanalysis, he experienced a profoundly cathartic vision of self-forgiveness and self-love. Feeling it was his responsibility to present this important spiritual message to the world in a ‘real’ and unpretentious way, Daniel decided to write his first book, The Magnificent Truths of Our Existence. Earlier in life, Daniel spent 10 years working successfully in the field of computer science. He then went on to become a day-trader in the stock market, which he continues to this day. He says this exciting but risky lifestyle is very spiritually purifying, as it has taught him how to live completely in the moment without material attachment. He currently lives in Pompano Beach, Florida, with his wife, Susan, and their dog, Chewy
DESPAIR (Give up, Grief, Hopelessness)
What makes people reach a point of despair?
How can God help us handle times of despair?
Trusting God is the most reliable weapon against despair. Trapped against the sea, the Israelites faced the Egyptian army sweeping in for the kill. The Israelites thought they were doomed. After watching God’s powerful hand deliver them from Egypt, their only response was fear, whining, and despair. Where was their trust in God? Israel had to learn from repeated experience that God was able to provide for them. God has preserved these examples in the Bible so that we can learn to trust him the first time. By focusing on God’s faithfulness in the past we can face crises with confidence rather than with fear and complaining.
Continuing our series examining common sociological or psychological issues, trends, fads and such that our world gets caught up in and the impact on the Christian, today we examine despair. If we've given ourselves to Christ, doesn't it seem, theoretically at least, that we should never despair again? Find out in this very enlightening show.
"For the country to be governed conservatively, however, conservatives have to win more elections. Among the most dismaying developments of the shutdown fight was the explicit assent given by a few conservative writers and politicians to the notion that it is a pipedream to seek to elect more conservatives who will then, for example, repeal Obamacare. That is asking a lot of a party, exponents of this view said, that has won the popular vote for president only once in the last six contests. "So it is. But it is asking for the impossible to expect conservatives to realize their policy goals if that electoral record continues or gets worse. There is no alternative to seeking to expand the conservative base beyond its present inadequate numbers and to win the votes of people who aren’t yet conservatives or are not yet conservatives on all issues. The defunders often said that those who predicted their failure were “defeatists.” Yet it is they who have given in to despair. They are the ones who entertain the ideas that everything has gotten worse; that the last few decades of conservative thought and action have been for nothing; that engagement in politics as traditionally conceived is hopeless; that government programs, once begun, must corrupt the citizenry so that they can never be ended or reformed; that the country will soon be past the point of regeneration, if it is not there already.
"Effective political movements create the conditions for their own success. Conservatism has not done enough of that, but when it has prospered it has never been moved by despair. The apocalyptic style of politics holds that the future of the country is at stake. That is true, which is why conservatives need to get to the work of persuading and electioneering — and drop the fantasy of a shortcut."

Fly High. Fly Fast. Fly Far!
The poets once wrote that “The fault is not in our stars but in ourselves” – but how true is that statement? Is our fate written in the stars above? Do we live our lives predestined for success or failure, happiness or despair? Do the Stars guide our way to true love or that perfect job. There are many people who believe so. Astrology is a practice as old as time itself. It was an integral part of the lives of ancient peoples and it is just as prevalent today. Even many who profess to follow the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ will often consult horoscopes and seek out fortune tellers. Is astrology just a harmless form of entertainment, or is it something more? Join us today as we use the Bible to expose the subtle evil of astrology and how it has incorporated itself into every aspect of our lives.
