*Ingrid Hernandez's guest appearance will be rescheduled*
Ingrid Hernandez, founder and designer of Yunes Swathe, developed an affinity for fashion while heading the accounting department at a shoe design company. After having attended Baruch College for accounting, Ingrid fell in love with the creative and production process of designing pieces. In her desire to create a brand for the woman who feels as confident in her clothes as she is in her own skin at accessible price points, Yunes Swathe was established.
As the founder of Yunes Swathe, Ingrid manages the day to day operations of the line. Yunes Swathe officially launched in 2013 with a collection of women’s contemporary apparel and handbags. She designs pieces that are sophisticated and subtle with a touch of avant-garde. When not working on the line, Ingrid enjoys travel and spending time with her two children. Ingrid, raised in New York City, currently resides in Manhattan with her two children. http://yunesswathe.com/store/
This week on Roundtable with Stephanie Robinson, Stephanie takes on science, the field of genetics and the current dilemma regarding its ethics and limitations. Has the time come when parents will be able to pick and choose the characteristics of our yet-to-be-born babies? Do such modern scientific advancements represent progress or a threat to humanity? Are we playing God?
Joining us to sort out some of these challenging questions is Enola Aird, an activist mother and founding director of Mothers for a Human Future; Dr. Keith Crawford, a physician-scientist and Chief Medical Officer at Parcell Laboratories; and Dr. Marcy Darnovsky, Executive Director of the Center for Genetics and Society. Together we will discuss just how far our science has gone and should go, as well as the implications for society and for our very humanity itself.
It is time to gather at the Roundtable as Stephanie Robinson delivers hot topics, deep talk and a little bit of uplift. Roundtable with Stephanie Robinson...pull up a chair.

Today on this special segment of FOXOLOGY TODAY, I will chat with Chicago-based custom hangbag designer Alexa Holzwarth of LexiWynn Designs about her unique creations and business opportunities. She's an entrepreneur with a vision who knows where she's going, and believe me, she's got it in the bag! I hope you'll tune in!
About today's Guest
LexiWynn founder Alexa Holzwarth, learned to sew and appreciate fabrics at a very early age, growing up around her parents' successful custom window treatment business in Virgina. With a keen eye for detail and a flair for creativity, Alexa started her business in 2005 by making custom window treatments, pillows, and slipcovers out of her home in Libertyville, Illinois. In April of 2006, she designed her first purse – the aptly named Lexi Hobo – quickly realizing that she could successfully create fun and functional bags using fabrics that she loved.
As her purses gained popularity, Alexa developed a business and a small team of talented workers that would allow her to stay home with her small children but also serve as an outlet for her creativity, knack for design, and empowering others to get involved in the creative process.
She says "We are living the classic American story, the LexiWynn brand is all about vision and hardwork and bootstrapping and learning as you go."
