On Episode 17 of the Mocking the Draft podcast, hosts Dan Kadar and Matthew Fairburn discuss some NFL Draft prospects that have helped and hurt their cause in the first half of the season. Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr may be the biggest riser in the process, while Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd struggled against Florida State. Meanwhile, Kadar and Fairburn preview the week ahead in college football and take NFL Draft questions from listeners.
On this edition of The Versus Podcast, we discuss the maturation of Derek Carr as a quarterback as the Oakland Raiders defied the odds and pulled off a stunning 37-33 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. Plus, the San Francisco 49ers came back to the earth as they were mauled by the Pittsburgh Steelers. With both teams now sitting at 1-1, are any of these teams actually any good? We discuss.
Plus, we discuss: The AFC South division leading Jacksonville Jaguars...Why we should've seen Stanford's upset over USC coming...Is Jared Goff really a Heisman candidate?...Bonta is a degenerate gambler, Logan the Intern wore a Johnny Football jersey in the studio, Ed probably won't be right again this week...
On this edition of The Versus Podcast, it's time to have a 'Come to Jesus' moment about Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers. Is Kaepernick's future with the franchise in question, or can this organization salvage the quarterback situation and make it work moving forward?
Also, the Oakland Raiders might not be a bad team this year. It's a celebration in the East Bay! Can the Fighting Derek Carr's keep it up?
Finally, we introduce Logan's Lounge onto the podcast, where we use the #AskTVP hashtag and answer absurd questions about Drake vs. Future vs. Meek Mill, blocking and more.
Host Wanda Wiedman shares Week 4 Fantasy Football Start Em' and Sit Em' on behalf of NFLFemale Fantasy Football reporter Noopur Bakshi, who is out of town.
Quarterback Derek Carr starts the picks against the Chicago Bears dismal defense. Sit Colin Kapernick of the 49ers who threw 4 interceptions last week and is not at his best. Sleeper QB is veteran Mike Vick, taking over for an injured Ben Roethlisberger for the Steelers.
At running back start Dallas Cowboys Joseph Randle who had a stellar week, but sit Washington Matt Jones who had trouble securing the ball last week. Sleeper pick is New York Jets Chris Ivory.
At wide receiver start veteran Arizona Cardinals Larry Fitzgerald who is a secure fantasy flex, followed by sitting Detroit Lions Golden Tate who has really smoldered in the last three games. Sleeper pick Ted Ginn Jr.
Start Chargers Keenan Allen at tight end, sit Eagles Zach Ertz who has little points to show for the hype and as a sleeper Charles Clay against the Jets.
Finally Start Arizona Cardinals defense and sit the Kansas City Cheifs.
And there is your Week 4 fantasy football picks!
We will look at the Turkey Day games.
The best team in football gets no respect.
Could Pats actually run out of players?
Injuries are getting worse it seems. And some are non-contact injuries. Is it hurting the fans too or helping the standings?
In Denver, is Brock the new Peyton?
And we will look at religion in football. Is the NFL the No Faith League?
And ESPN pissed at Johnny Football.
And some coaches may be getting off on a Trojan horse or a Bayou Bengal.
And what is up with the referees?

Let’s play Fraud or Real or Pretender Contender? Packers Texans Cowboys
Pokes get the 10-0 Panthers but the Cowboys at 3-7 are favorites over the undefeated Panthers. As I said in the beginning, has anyone watched this team? I got the Panthers in a romp.
Bears go to Lambeau to play resurgent Packers. Plus they’re retiring Brett Favre’s number. I have to go with Pack.
A number of new injuries are affecting games this week. Peyton is still out. Flacco is gone for the season – and maybe longer. Are these injuries hurting the fans or helping?
New England looked human beating the New York Giants on a 54 yard field goal by Stephen Gostowski. The Giants almost pulled off the victory, kicking the go ahead field with 1:47 remaining. Tom Brady converted a fourth and ten during the last drive, finding Danny Amendola for a 12 yard gain. The win keeps the Patriots perfect season in place while holding a four game lead over the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.
The Houston Texans did enough to hand the Cincinnati Bengals their first loss. They held Andy Dalton to 197 passing yards, and kept the Bengals out of the end zone. T.J. Yates tossed a 22 yard touchdown to DeAndre Hopkins, on the fourth play of the fourth quarter that gave the Texans the go ahead score. The Texans win puts them in a tie with the Indianapolis Colts for first place, in the AFC South.
The Broncos have lost two in a row, and Peyton Manning. Manning sustained and injury in the loss to the Chiefs. Manning had five completions and four interceptions. Brock Osweiler will get the start against the Chicago Bears. Even with the loss the Broncos still hold a three game lead over the Chiefs.
The Minnesota Vikings have put together a five game winning streak. This winning streak coupled with a three game Packers losing streak, puts the Vikings in first place. At 7-2, the Vikings have quietly made enough plays to win football games. Adrian Peterson added another 200 yard rushing game to his Hall of Fame resume. His sixth 200-yard game ties him with O.J. Simposon for the most in NFL history. The Vikings intercepted Derek Carr twice, and shutout the Raiders in the second half en route to a 30-14 victory.
Josh Hayes and Renee Miller dive into the Week 11 NFL slate and talk about whether Derek Carr deserves to be a top five option at QB, how to sort out all the mid-priced running back options, play another round of tight end king of the hill, and whether you should drop Mike Evans from your lineups.
The Chicago Bears look to upset the Denver Broncos at Soldier Field on Sunday to reach 5-5 and stay relevant in the playoff picture. What will Brock Osweiler do in place of the injured Peyton Manning? Can the Bears crack Denver's tough defense? The Bulls will try to hand the Golden State Warriors their first loss of the season tonight, and will have to do it without Derrick Rose. Is it too early to start comparing this Warriors team to the 72-10 Bulls that won the franchise's 4th championship? Plus my Fantasy Football picks for Week 11!

Each time we air our goal is to promote interest in the creative arts community. The focus is to allow artists in the community get their recognition. We know that radio has been for years at the forefront of communication and no matter how technology will send us in different directions, radio is here to stay. Almost everyone has something to say and what better opportunity to say it then to bring it straight to radio and then to the world.
Aj-Poet a native of Westchester County in White Plains, NY to be exact is jumping in head first to share her family of performers, artist, writers with the community. She hoping not only to reach individuals in the surrounding area but to launch a movement to preserve the beauty of the arts. She especially want that person who we call the "closeted" artist to come out and shine. No longer will we sing only in our bathroom or paint behind closed doors. What is freeing with radio is that these talents can be communicated behind a microphone exposing many to what we are afraid to show. However once revealed a star is born.
Aj-Poet will be interviewing, playing music, sharing taped and live interviews. Discussing what folks are doing out there and also promoting their crafts. From authors who are reachable in our communities to dancers and musicians about to do a show. She will have entrepreneurs, supporters, activists, politicians, community leaders and active participants in our communities.
Currently the show is aired from the Blue Door Arts Gallery located at 13 Riverdale Ave, Yonkers, NY every other Friday at 1pm. On alternative Friday's Aj-Poet takes her show on the road to interview artist out and about. Stay tuned to dates and locations. If you miss the show there is always a feed into Facebook. Call 914 299-0964 to make suggestions for the show.
Here's to SNOFHing with you. Aj
