  • Apache Medicine Man Ernesto Tano Quinquil: The Apache Way to Healing

    in Religion

Ernesto Alvarado/Tano Quinquil is cited in the book, Shamanic Wisdom keepers by Timothy Freke. In 1976 he developed the first counseling center to utilize native healer, Diana Velasquez, as a treatment alternative in Denver, Colorado. He began his journey to the spirit world with roadman Jim Eagle-Elk on the Coleville reservation in the state of Washington in 1979. The plant teachers have opened the doors for him to the green world and the animal world. Some of his herbal training came from Michael Moore, Herbs of the Rocky Mountain West. He is recognized for his words and herbal cures by people in many countries. His services have always been offered for no fee. The ancestor spirits have gifted him the caring of the knowledge of the sacred glyphs written in stones. In 1989 he was anniciated as a medicine-man by Charles Many Horses.

His Gavilan Apache ancestors roamed Mexico in one of only two areas where the sacred plant teacher, Peyote is known to exist.  He was given his healer name,”Tano Quinquil” meaning the Silent Wind, at the Apache Stronghold in Arizona.  The ancestors have gifted him with knowledge of the portals and multiple dimensions.

Professionally he has been licensed as a Ph.D. psychologist, principal, social worker and community developer. He resides in the Denver, Colorado area while his spirit roams freely on mother/father Tierra. Palenque, Tikal, Machu Picchu, Uluru (Ayers Rock), Stonehenge, Glastonbury, Tula, Tres Rios,Copan, Tiwanaku, Tepoztlan and Tenochtitlan are but a few of the sites where he has been gifted with knowledge by the ancestors. His ancestral linage is Mexican Gavilan Apache and Spanish Celt.

In Mexico he helped construct three stone medicine wheels and assisted in training university students in the healing arts. Ernesto and his Apache sundancer mates, Tomas Shash and Geronimo Archuleta, are seeking publication of their book, “The Apache Way to Healing.”

Enlightened 30: Death the Show welcomes Gypsy Moon

    in Paranormal

    Gypsy Moon.

Gypsy Moon is originally from Minneapolis Minnesota. It is where she first experienced astral projection at the age of two. At the age of five, Gypsy came in contact with her first solid apparitions while living in Colorado Springs, Colorado.By the time she was eight, she was living on a haunted farm in western Wisconsin.

There were many different spirits there, all of them "good spirits" and Gypsy enjoyed interacting with them. She has always felt it was the spirits gift to her to be able to see and hear them, rather than any gift of her own. Gypsy found herself giving readings in everyday conversations as many people would come to her seeking spiritual understanding and advice..

It was experiences like these that led Gypsy Moon down a path of enlightenment she is still on today. Gypsy has spent her life studying all things metaphysical with a belief in continuous growth. This has allowed her to also mentor others to understand and use their own psychic abilities.

Today, as a Spirit Medium and Paranormal Investigator, Gypsy Moon participates in paranormal events nationwide as a guest speaker and lead investigator. She also has been interviewed on numerous radio shows and is available for private readings.

Gypsy Moon welcomes every opportunity to communicate with the spirit realm. She does so with the intention of bringing hope, peace and understanding to all who are interested.

    Frat House Saturday #55

    in Sports

A “relaxed” Frat House Saturday program is coming your way and IT IS packed with NFL football chat – and, just so much fun for a Fall afternoon.

We’ll kick if off with some conversation that took place on our weekly all-NFL Frat House Sports’ Red Zone Blitz program where Brandon and Frat House Mike got chatting about 3-0 teams . . . AND, 0-3 teams.

THEN a “relaxed” Frat House Mike gets into it LIVE with a bit of “Trash-Talking with Purdy” as he & Eric Purdy get chatting about the return (finally) of “conference play” in college football and look around the landscape of Saturday afternoon play. You got to know, Frat House Mike is paying close attention to the Big-10.

Ryan Willis of the “Whatchu’ Talkin’ ‘Bout Willis” show joined us Thursday night to chat about the San Diego Chargers and their lackluster start to the season.

The BEST comes to those that wait and that means our always amusing “4 Minutes of Football” segment immediately followed by our always famous Frat House Sports’ Picks-of-the-Week: Baltimore Ravens – Pittsburgh Steelers / New York Jets – Miami Dolphins / Oakland Raiders – Chicago Bears / Kansas City Chiefs – Cincinnati Bengals.

THINGS have really ratcheted up now . . . but there’s plenty of time for your calls to 347 – 826 – 9964!

Veterans At SeaThe purpose of the “Operation Restore Hope – Retreat” program is to significantly enhance the lives of
wounded veterans, their families and caregivers through self-care and peer support. Achieving this purpose ...
will also have a direct effect on the communities where these families live, by reducing the high risk of family
crisis from mental or physical injuries that in the past has led to domestic violence, divorce or suicide.
The Need:The decade-long wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have been experienced not only on the battlefield, but also back
at home with military families in the United States. The ongoing threat of ISIS and the possibility of a new war
in Iraq and Syria will only add to the current problems these families have.

I am a native Texan and in 1990 I graduated from Southwest High School in Fort Worth, TX. After high school I went to MCRD San Diego, while in the Marine Corps I served as a Heavy Gunner in Weapons Company 3rd Battalion 1st Marines. While I was assigned to 3/1 I took and passed the Indoct for Recon. Upon completion of my deployment with 3/1 I went to 1st Recon Battalion where I served as a Point Man/Navigator in a six-man Recon Team and also as training cadre for Indocts and RIP Classes. I was honorably discharged from the Marines in ’96.After the Marines I got a job working on Commercial and Industrial Boilers and in 2004 one of the boilers I was working on exploded on me and I sustained a TBI and SCI C1-C6. I spent several years in recovery at places like Craig Institute in Colorado, Centre for Neuro Skills in California, several local hospitals and home. During this time I had to learn how to read and understand or comprehend what I just read as well as how to do math again. Not to mention many other life skills old and new that many of us take for granted on a daily basis.
