Jasmine Christine Scott: Author, Graphic Illustrator, Maid, Cook, and More

    in Writing

Jasmine Christine Scott, a/k/a JCS, the author, was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, where she still resides. As the mother of three, she is also a “maid, cook, playground, encyclopedia, teacher, and lover”, in her own words. With the luxury of being a stay-at-home Mom, she is allowed the liberty to write, illustrate, and promote to her best abilities.

Her first love is art. In the beginning, her intention was to illustrate for graphic novels, but having character composite sketches works just fine for her. However, Epic Fantasy and Sci Fi will always be a must. It seems, that no matter what genre one reads from, there are lackluster books.

To insure she didn't make that mistake, she joined what used to be known as Authonomy.com, a British-based website that allowed the opportunity to be published by Harper Collins. It didn't work out because those running things were only interested in Romance and Erotica, but, she soon learned that her writing is truly a gem.

Her first released series did well, with the exception that she did not release her third book from The Anguished Immortals Trilogy. Then, my first book to my second series did so well, it almost seemed like there was nothing that could be said. For three weeks, Bleeding Stars and Paper Hearts-Adrianna is Mine sat at the number 7 spot for 3 weeks, and briefly, before she pulled the book due to it being published, it stayed at number 1 for a week. According to JCS, “That's an accomplishment for a site like that.”

Denver proves to be Cam Newton's Kryptonite as Broncos claim Lombardi Trophy

    in Sports

The most valuable person of Super Bowl 50 may have been Wade Phillips. The Denver Broncos entered Super Bowl 50 with the number ranked unit in the NFL. The Carolina Panthers had scored 80 points in their two playoff games and had the leagues MVP running the offense. Phillips devised an aggressive game plan the pressured Newton and forced four Panther turnovers. Two Newton fumbles led to both Bronco touchdowns.

Peyton Manning came out of the gates looking like the Manning of old, leading the Broncos to an opening drive field goal. Manning completed four of six passes for 47 yards on the 10 play drive. After trading punts, the Panthers started their second drive at their own 15. On thrid down Von Miller broke the edge and instead of crushing Newton he stripped the ball. The ball was recovered in the end zone by Malik Jackson and the Broncos took a 10-0 lead. Prior to the touchdown, Newton found Jerricho Cotchery over the middle but the play was ruled incomplete after replay upheld the call.

Early in the second quarter James Stewart vaulted into the end zone from one yard out that made the score 10-7. Jordan Norwood broke a Super Bowl record with a 61-yard punt return that gave the Broncos a first down at the Carolina 14-yard line. The Panthers defense stood tall and held the Broncos to a field goal, which made the score 13-7.

Both teams added a field goal in the second half. With 4:51 remaining and the score 16-10, the Panthers took over on their own 24-yard line. Once again, Von Miller broke the edge and got his hand on the ball as Newton was cocked back and ready to throw. T.J. Ward recoverd the fumble and set the Broncos up at the Panthers 4-yard line. Josh Norman was called for holding on an incomplete third-down pass that gave the Broncos a first down at the 2-yard line. C.J Anderson bullied his way to the goal line and gave the Broncos a 22-10 lead. The ensuing two-point conversion was good.

Denver Broncos 24 Carolina Panthers 10

    in Sports

On Monday's edition of Sports Time Radio The Big jack and Dan te Man will recap Super Bowl 50 which they watched at Dan's Super Bowl party. Sadly Mr. Fantsy and Schaumburg Stu didn't attend the event. While Denver did end up winning the game by 14 points it was close end to the end. It was a competitive game, but in no means was it great. Now the question turns to is this the last time will see Peyton Manning on the football field.

    Denver Wins Super Bowl 50!

    in Football

Peyton and crew take down Cam in the Golden Bowl!

I hate that the NFL decided to relinquish the Roman numerals.  Super Bowl L would have been just fine, if you ask me.

Anyway, the game is over and the dust has settled.  Carolina takes home its first championship and they are partying hard in the Tar Heel state.  What was your take from the Big Game?  Who let their team down?  Who stepped up in a major way?

Also on Zone Coverage, the Hall of Fame was announce and there's no T.O.  Was he left off of the final tally because of his past behavior or because other great WRs have had to wait over recent years?

All of this and more as Zone Coverage returns to T2Q!  "Talk sports from the couch!"

    Show No. 566

    Scheduled for 90 mins.
