The guys in the Frat House Sports Garage are all awake, alert, and smellin’ the coffee; munchin’ on donuts; and, celebrating the big win last week at Pocono Raceway by Martin Truex Jr., his first since Sonoma in 2013! Well, who isn’t celebrating his win? It was cheered nearly NASCAR-wide and the best feel-good story along with American Pharoah winning the Triple Crown.
But, this week it’s on to the two-mile oval of Michigan International Speedway, a track that in recent years has been owned by Greg Biffle, Jeff Gordon, Denny Hamlin, and Carl Edwards. Is it one of them, or does Kyle Busch get his first win of his young season and put “The Chase” guessing to rest?
But, there’s also the regular features like Uncle Mark’s Over the Wall; Frat House Mike bringing a NHRA drag racing update with crews just up I-95 in New Hampshire; Sidekick’s NASCAR Fantasy picks; and the garage guys’ Eat-My-Dust Picks for MIS.
The Frat House Sports Garage is OPEN on Sunday and the coffee is flowing . . . you BETTER bring plenty of donuts . . . and your phone calls to 347 – 826 – 9964!
in Self Help
Yup, life happens sometimes in ways we would rather not… how do you move through it, how do you move on?
Tonight’s guests on Life Interrupted Radio are Denny Stockdale and Cara Lumen. Denny, a positive change strategist, motivational speaker, and award winning inspirational author is widely known hailed as the CEO - Chief Encouragement Officer whose work is based on compassionate conversations.
Cara Lumen, is a seeker, explorer, guide and founder of the Deeper Song Community who shares on the topics of self-awareness and on finding your gifts and purpose. She is the founder of The Deeper Song Community to help you “sing a deeper song.” She is an enthusiastic explorer of ideas and as I like to say the coolest 82 year old in the world.
Come explore with us how to move through those dark places to find your gifts.
On this episode of Talking in Circles we breakdown the Axalta We Paint Winners 400 at Pocono Raceway. Martin Truex Jr won his 3rd career race and Furniture Row Racing are in the Chase. Big win for them and Truex.
We also talk about the infamous "Gordon and Gustafson spat," from Pocono and discuss whether or not that is something that should be taken seriously.
Michael Waltrip Racing announced a crew chief change this morning, flipping Brian Pattie and Billy Scott. Scott moves to the No. 15 car with Clint Bowyer and Pattie moves to the No. 55 Toyota with David Ragan. We discuss what these changes mean for the organization and whether or not the team made the right move.
Also the No. 48 team failed inspection twice during pre race inspection Sunday at Pocono. Should they recieve a stiffer penalty even though Knaus wasn't on probation?
Greg Biffle had a little mixup with NASCAR during qualifying. Biffle crossed the line on tv with about a second to go and NASCAR claimed that wasn't the case because according to their timing Biffle was too late. He ended up 22nd which would have transfered him into the round but NASCAR said he was too late. How can something like that happen in a major professional sport? Also Denny Hamlin's spin in the last round of qualifying kept teams off the board and Hamlin ended up 7th. Is that fair and could this create an issue later on down the road?
Also Kyle Busch is back behind the wheel of an Xfinity Series car this weekend as he drives the No. 54 Toyota for the 1st time since his crash at Daytona in February. How will he do? Should he be here? We'll talk about that as well.
Michigan Preview- Cup, XFINITY this week at Michigan, trucks are at Gateway. We'll preview each race for this weekend.
Plus we take your phone calls.
Join Jeff Adams, Denny Krane, and Kris Cruz as they talk current events and what happen over the weekend! Plus one of the weirdest show ever by The Jeff Adams Show casts.

We will also chat with ARCA drivers Mason Mitchell and Austin Wayne Self about their expectations coming into this weekend. Cruz Skinner will also give us a tidbit just "about the dirt" for the week. We will also have our NASCAR round table with our predictions for Pocono! Join us 7-8pmEST for the fastest show on the radio!
It’s Sunday. It’s Race Day. There’s talk of a “Monster.” Nonetheless, the guys are in the Frat House Sports Garage . . . with the coffee . . . and, the donuts . . . and, they’re talking about everything on wheels.
Last week’s “Greatest Day in Racing” tops the list as Uncle Mark and Sidekick run around to F-1 in Monaco; the Indianapolis 500; and finally Carl Edwards gets his first NASCAR race win of the season at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
But, THIS week it’s the “Monster Mile” of Dover International Speedway, and thoughts on whether Joe Gibbs Racing may have ALL of its drivers in “The Chase” as today marks the exact mid-point of the NASCAR season.
The guys though are also joined by registered NASCAR Media member, Sirius XM Radio announcer, and racetrack PA Announcer Mike Neff. Don’t worry though; they’ll be plenty of time for Uncle Mark’s Over the Wall, Sidekick’s NASCAR Fantasy Picks, and new choices for everyone’s Eat-My-Dust Picks!
The Frat House Sports Garage is BACK OPEN on Sunday and the coffee is flowing . . . you BETTER bring plenty of donuts . . . and your phone calls to 347 – 826 – 9964!

IMAGINE IF WE AMERICANS ALWAYS TOLD THE TRUTH IN EVERYTHING WE DO. TRULY IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL. WE WOULDN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO HIDE, WE WOULDN'T HAVE TO TELL MORE LIES TO HIDE THE ORIGINAL LIES AND WHEN MISTAKES WERE MADE IT WOULD BE SO MUCH EASIER TO CORRECT THEM. BUT SINCE WE ARE MERE MORTALS, WE DON'T ALWAYS TELL THE TRUTH AND THE RESULTS CAN OFTEN BE OF MAJOR CONSEQUENCE.
THE CASE OF FORMER SPEAKER DENNY HASTERT BEING INDICTED FOR PAYING OFF SOMEONE NOT TO TELL THE TRUTH IS IN THE NEWS. IT MUST HAVE BEEN SOMETHING TRULY MAJOR IF, AS IS SAID, HE PAID OVER $3M TO KEEP A SITUATION ABOUT HIM QUIET AS HE WENT INTO POLITICS. OF COURSE, POLITICIANS OF ALL PERSUASIONS, BUSINESS HIGH ROLLERS, PEOPLE IN ALL WALKS OF LIFE ROUTINELY GET SNARED BY THIS. LOOK AT HOW NEWS ANCHOR BRIAN WILLIAMS' WORLD CAME TUMBLING DOWN. AND NOWHERE IS IT WORSE THAN IN THE WIDESPREAD USE OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS, WHERE WE FUDGE, MODIFY AND CHANGE THE TRUTH TO MEET SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES. BUT SOONER OR LATER, THE TRUTH COMES OUT, AND WHEN IT DOES IT CAN'T BE PUT BACK IN THE BOTTLE AND THEN WE REALIZE THE FOLLY OF WHAT WE HAVE DONE.
FOLKS, WE HAVE BIG PROBLEMS TODAY IN AMERICA AND THE WORLD AND UNTIL WE FACE THEM HONESTLY WE'LL NEVER MAKE THINGS BETTER. WE'LL TALK ABOUT IT AT 9:00 PM TONIGHT, SEE YOU THEN.
