Beatles researcher and film maker, Seth Swirsky, has created something incredible...a film called "Beatles Stories" that was 5 years in the making. In this heartwarming, honest movie he captures the true tales of people who have met The Beatles, worked with them, and been their friends. Tales that have never (for the most part) before been told. It is a film of great historical importance and of great interest. And Jude is thrilled to have him as her special guest on The John Lennon Hour.
Tonight YOU can call in and chat with Seth about his encounters with Sir Ben Kingsley, the beloved May Pang, Denny Laine, Joey Molland (Badfinger), Mark Hudson, Henry Winkler (the Fonz), Beach Boy Brian Wilson, Graham Nash, Norman "Hurricane" Smith, Art Garfunkel, Luci Baines Johnson, Nancy Lee Andrews, Fred Seaman, Jon Voight, and so many more. Or you can sit back and listen to the rare and gripping stories he uncovered during his exciting days collecting Beatles Stories. Call 646-668-2641 to visit with Seth live and in person!
How do you write with a partner? Because Host Morgan St. James has co-authored six books, she is frequently asked questions like: Do you each write a chapter? Do you each write a character? Do you ever argue over scenes? How do you write long-distance?
St James and co-host Denny Griffin, who has co-authored two books with her, are joined by guest Phyllice Bradner, co-author of the Sillver Sisters Mysteries. These authors unravel the art of successfully collaborating on books in a lively discussion about how to establish a successful relationship with a co-author even if it is long-distance. Call-in questions welcome during the live broadcast.

Kevin Harvick wins the Ford EcoBoost 400 @ Homestead-Miami Speedway. 28th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, and the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship.
Harvick wins his first championship in his first season at SHR coming over from RCR. Harvick and Childers were impressive this year, and were really good early and later on in the season, which was enough to win in this format.
Ryan Newman finishes second in the race and in the championship race as he comes up just short. Newman took 2 tires on the secon to last pit stop, and that made the difference, when Harvick had 4 fresh tires on the restart, and had the advantage.
Joey Logano hit the wall, and then got some more damage as his championship dreams dwindled down and which costed him a shot at is as well.
Denny Hamlin was left out there with no tires, and originally did look like the right decision initially. It turned out to be a bad one, but that's part of the game.
All of that and much more, plus Dominic Aragon from TheRacingExperts.com will join the show as well.
Uncle Mark & Branson have geared up in the Frat House Sports garage ready to discuss the end of the NASCAR season, and other motorsports…AND you can chime in as well!
The Super Bowl of NASCAR is set to take place this Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway! Roadside brawls, surprising cuts to the drivers competing for the championship and a new Chase format has everyone fired up!
The end of the race at Phoenix International Raceway led to 4 more cuts, with Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano and Ryan Newman advancing to the Championship. It was a move of sheer desperation that led winless driver Ryan Newman to make a last lap dash to claim an 11th place finish and make it into the Chase. This surprising, late addition of Ryan Newman to the next level leads many wondering if he could become the next underdog champion. While this is not the first time that the sport has seen a winless driver advance into the Chase, this could be the first time in the history of the sport that a winless driver actually becomes crowned champion.
In other motorsports news, Chase Elliot broke records becoming the youngest and first Rookie of the Year to become the Nationwide Series Champion. In 2015, this series takes on a new name, after new title sponsor, Infinity.
Inside the trucks, Matt Crafton seeks to become the first 2-time Champion in the Camping World Truck Series. Will he be able to repeat? Or will 2nd place driver Ryan Blaney and 3rd place driver Darrell “Bubba” Wallace interfere?
The NHRA season is also winding down, and the guys got an update on that Countdown to the Championship plus final NASCAR race fantasy roster recommendations with Sidekick’s picks!
