Dennis Reed, of Rochester NY, is a great inspiration to all who have neglected their creative impulses. His interest in pen and ink drawing was rekindled in his 60's, when his wife "volunteered" him to sketch houses that were to be on the Maplewood Neighborhood Association home tour. Now in his 70's, Dennis continues to draw, and is a role model for those who want to follow their dreams.

What Do You Know About The Trans Saharan Slave Trade?
Why do we always talk about slavery as if it is a Black and White issue? The reality is that the Arabs have held Black slaves from around 800 AD to this very day, with no end in sight. This abuse of our people by the Arabs and Muslims is a well kept "secret" that must be exposed. How deep does this sickness run? Well, I don't know, but I do know that Arabs use a word "abd" to refer to Blacks, Africans, and slaves without distinction. In other words, if you are Black, they call you a slave.
Join Alex Primo and Asha Zuri Thursday, February 11 at 9 pm EST (6 pm PST, 7 pm MST, 8 pm CST) as we explore, dissect, and discuss the horror and devastating travesty that we call the Trans Saharan Slave Trade. A trade that caused the death of millions of our Melanated brothers and sisters. A despicable assault that castrated our brothers and turned our women into sex-slaves. You do not want to miss this episode.
Plus the brother Dennis Jefferson will be dropping by with another highly informative Healthy Matters update.

Ugggghhhhhh! FOOTBALL IS OVER!!!!
Hey . . .but, Frat House Sports is NEVER OVER! . . . with Super Bowl 50 now in the books we will give it its proper post mortem and eulogy . . .
. . . and THEN, we’re turning our sights (left . . . and then left . . . and then left again) to the first of two Frat House Sports’ Speedweeks programs in celebration of the return of Motorsports!!!
Hey . . . NHRA is in full season mode this weekend in Pomona at the Winternationals and NASCAR begins its drumbeat to the Daytona 500 next weekend and we’re along for the ride with them.
While we’ll be taking a look back at Super Bowl 50 for a bit, we’re also going to be looking forward to NASCAR as we welcome special guest Christian Koelle of NASCAR News Source and chat about the surprising announcement from Brian France about “charter” teams; Tony Stewart’s injury, absence, and replacement; and, the beginning of a very long racing season.
Don't forget the NHL and NBA are ongoing and that means we need our weekly analyst Matt DiBiase to help us make sense of what’s going on over with the New York Knicks; Phil Jackson on the move to the Lakers; the Maple Leafs – Senators BIG trade; and Dennis Wideman’s misbehavior which has him at home for a while.
Forget about football. It’s an all NEW season here on Frat House Sports . . . and it requires you listening LIVE at 7 p.m. ET . . . and, calling-in your thoughts: 347 – 826 – 9964.
Without question, 2016 has kicked off on a decidedly dark note.
Above and beyond a ridiculous circus of a Presidential election, a record breaking wave of snowstorms in the East and tornadoes down South, increasing corporate and financial malfeasance both nationally and globally and some ongoing global concerns, we've lost large chunks of music, television and film history in the surprisingly short span of a single month.
So join us as we pay tribute to names like David Bowie, the Jefferson Airplane's Paul Kantner and Signe Anderson, Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister of Motorhead and Hawkwind and Jimmy Bain of Dio and Rainbow, not to mention folks like Glenn Frey of the Eagles, Dallas Taylor of Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Dale Griffin of Mott the Hoople, Nicholas Caldwell of the Whispers, Mic Gillette of Tower of Power and Stones/Yardbirds manager Giorgio Gomelsky on the music end,
and Angus Scrimm (Phantasm), Dan Haggerty (Grizzly Adams), Vilmos Zsigmond (of the Ray Dennis Steckler and Arch Hall films, Easy Rider and Close Encounters), Abe "Fish" Vigoda, Frank Finlay, Terry Wogan, Jacques Rivette and Pat "Schneider" Harrington on the television and film end...
