Denise Wolford was born in Abilene TX, her family moved to Dallas in 1969, she is the sixth child of seven, and she has always wanted to be a part of the music business, little did she know that God would call her into the ministry full time preaching the gospel through the world. She's a singer, writer, producer, promoter and put together music videos and jingles. Denise is the outgoing one she is no stranger to anyone. Her mission is to introduce the lost to Christ. God has given her an assignment and it must be completed. Her love for people is what makes the journey easier to run. She has served in the communities for over 30 years and stress that God is the head of her life and she is enjoying what he is doing right now. She thanks him in advance and never want to become where she cannot talk to him, no matter how high he takes her, she will remain humble at all times. Denise has Wolf-Rod Entertainment & All Women Marching for Hope "against domestic violence" and was recently nominated for the Outstanding Women of Today Award on October 30, 2009......Denise and others has march in cities from state bringing about a change to save lives in many ways..If you ask her why she do this she would say; I must be about my father's business and she's just a servant for the Kingdom..... After preaching and teaching in Uganda May 16-24, 2013 she has become partners with Divine Love Church in Uganda. You can now call her a National & International Pastor.
Denise Turney is the author of Portia, Love Has Many Faces, Spiral, Long Walk Up, Rosetta's Great Hope and Love Pour Over Me. She is also a two-time Navy Achievement Medal winner.
Her works have appeared in various national and international periodicals among which include: Parade, Madame Noire, USA Today, Obsidian II, Essence, The Pittsburgh Quarterly, The Bucks County Courier Times, The Trenton Times, Sisters In Style, Today?s Black Woman and The Trenton State College Literary Review.
Denise Turney has spoken at the prestigious Spelman College, facilitated the Women of Color: Financial Independence Conference at the Philadelphia Community College, The Aspiring Writer?s Conference in Philadelphia, and served as a panelist for Take Our Daughters To Work Day at Merrill Lynch in Princeton, New Jersey. Denise travels the country speaking and connecting with readers at large national events that host 40,000 ? 1 million attendees.
