Earth 2065: The 50 Year Plan For Peace

    in Women

"The world is coming to an end!" "These are the last days!" "Get ready for a new Heaven and new Earth!" We've been hearing these warnings from the religious community for the last 2000 years, and yet nobody is really living as if they believe anything in the future will change. They are focused on paying today's bills. Well, almost nobody. There are some who recognize that the world will continue on after they are physically gone, and they're planning for it to be drastically different than it is today. Some of Africa's most powerful women met in Washington DC this past week, to map out a strategy for the continent which has been the sustaining body for a vast number of people on planet Earth. They are looking ahead 50 years from now and putting in motion a plan to equalize the distribution of resources in order to end systemic poverty. We have said every day that women have the power to transform this world. We can end crime, violence and poverty. All we have to do is one thing - share. So, as leading women prepare to change policies that will usher in a new society, how do we prepare tomorrows children to think differently, so as not to recreate the mistakes of the past. During the past few days on this show, we have been creating A Universal Code of Ethics as a guideline for teaching the next generation of leaders, many of whom are yet unborn. We'll share some of the book's contents so far, and get your input on this global guideline for a peaceful new world order. This morning's guest is Herman Bonner, head of the National Alliance of Decendance of Enslaved Africans (NADEA), to discuss restoring to descendants of Africa those possessions that were taken in order to enable them to move forward and create a better world.

From Dysfunction To Restoration - How Do We Turn Our Black Neighborhoods Around

    in Current Events

The past few weeks, we've talked about some of the external forces that have wrecked havoc on African American society in America.  From federal, state and local legislation, formal and implicit business policies and practices, and willing complicity and willfull ignorance of much of White America, African Americans have been subjected to disenfranchisement, discrimination and oppression in almost every aspect of life.  These are forces we have little control over, and we fight to bring these truths and their impacts to people's knowledge.

But there are issues we face within our neighborhoods that are within our power to change that would serve us well, regardless of the outside forces.  These issues may not change or affect the outside forces at - in fact, would really have no bearing on them at all - but they would return us to a quality of life that we seem to have lost, and at one time served to sustain us through times much more violent and desperate than these.

So today on Coffe, Current Events & Politics, we're going to begin a discussion about addressing some of the internal dysfunction in our neighborhoods, in order to find out how we can turn them around from the inside.

Pro-Life center to offer abortions - You got mansplaining to do Joe

    in Politics

Hr1   California bill AB775 is trying to force pro-life pregnancy counseling centers to offer abortion information.

Curtis Ellis says, imagine a world where American courts and laws are overruled by international tribunals (who are not elected by American citizens!)... That's Obama's plan with Obamatrade (TPP). TPP is the new NAFTA and the latest "we have to pass the bill so you can know what's in it." CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES!

Congratulations! California honored to be the worst state to do business 11 years running! The Democrats policies at work.

Hr2  We pause for a little humor (that hits too close to home) Muslim world reacts to Obama's speech on climate change being the biggest global threat.

U.S. military says reaction times are seriously delayed because their hands are tied. They can't move as quickly as they need to to address threats. This is a problem!

Feminists will find offense in anything, especially if it encourages man-bashing. First it's manspreading, now it's mansplaining.

Transgender Canadians are pushing to abolish gender references from birth certificates. You can't just make an assumption based on a quick peek at a baby's privates anymore!

Hr3  Salon says our U.S. Military is a national security threat. Thank God (and our military!) for free speech. In other countries, they'd be wiped out or jailed!

Actress tells Teen Vogue that Planned Parenthood felt like “two arms pulling me into a hug” and that she's “eternally grateful” for the experience.

Unions want an exemption from the minimum wage increase. Shocker! What a bunch of hypocrites!

Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?
