Congratulations! The summer mixtape of The B.A.R.S. Crew, SOUNDBYTE, was released on 7/20.
Bailey Langford aka T.R.A.M.A. (the realest and most artistic)
Bailey grew up in Oakdale, LA....he mostly listened to country music at that time. In fact the first album he ever bought was a Taylor Swift CD. He didn't get into hip hop until he moved to Lake Charles, LA in high school..after listening to Lil Wayne's Carter 2 he fell in love with words and felt that he needed to relieve his mind by writing down the wordplay driven metaphors he thought of.....A few years later he connected with Delshun Mays while working in a local grocery store. After listening to Delshun's mixtape roc hard ep...he decided to put what he was writing down into music and co founded The B.A.R.S. Crew with him that same year.
Jamaal Delshun Bellow aka Delshun Mays
Jamaal was born and raised in Oakland, California. He started writing short stories as a kid ....after listening to keep your head up by Tupac he decided to start writing poetry. He didn't get into writing music until he moved to Elton, La the summer before his freshman year of high school. He suffered an immediate culture shock by the move. .that coupled with the death of a close family member, he went into a severe depression only writing peoms and listening to "Georgia" by Ray Charles. One day Jamaal got his hands on the Marshall Mathers Lp by Eminem and was very intrigued by the story telling word play Eminem used in his songs and decided to write his own raps. He wrote a song a day until he graduated from high school. About a year or so after graduating, he decided to start recording his vocals...he didn't let anybody know he was recording. He used this time as a period to find his style and sound. .until he released his first mixtape Roc Hard ep 2011. That same year he met Trama and co founded The B.A.R.S. Crew.
C-Blaque is going to be an industry icon! Born Stephon Cook originally from Allentown, PA he moved to Greenville, SC at a young age with his grandmother to go to school and away from the gang life. But by his mid-teens he was in and out of trouble through gangbangin and later went to prison. When he turned 21 he was released and decided to turn to music. Now at age 23, his music has been making a statement throughout the Carolinas for over a year now with his "way of words". C-Blaque's music can put you in the mind state of a new age Ruff Ryders. And after his surprise collaboration with legend rapper DMX in 2013, his "lyrical gangsta feel" reached the 5 boroughs of New York.
His voice, creativity, and delivery will catch you almost immediately. Not to mention his energy is undeniable! He's performed at countless showcases throughout South Carolina all the way down to Charleston! He's also had bookings in Charlotte, NC, Long Island, NY, and Springfield, MA. He is a local independent artist and is NOT SIGNED. All of his exposure, promotion, studio time, and road assignments shows his talents and management abilities. His determination and music are both incredible. STAY TUNED....
With each team winning two games, we're down to a best-of-three championship series. Game 5 is pivotal for both teams; however, it's the final stand at home for the Giants. Rest assured, they'll be aiming to continue riding their Game 4 momentum. The Royals, on the other hand, need to bounce back in a big way to quickly stop the bleeding. Both of these clubs have now gone through their entire pitching rotations. Starters Madison Bumgarner and James Shields will take the mound for the second time in this series, and they'll have their work cut out for them against lineups that combined for 28 hits Saturday evening. the Bleacherreport
The takeaway here isn’t how things can go so wrong as much as it is the Royals’ remarkable ability to keep things so right over the last month.
“Most nights we do a pretty good job doing it,” Yost says. “It just didn’t work tonight.”The Royals are two wins from a world championship because they’ve kept the trains running on time. Losing game four is more of a reminder of the infrastructure they need in place to celebrate. Sam Mellinge Kansas Star
With apologies to the stats crowd, an all-wild-card World Series has to have an element of pluck. Who outgrinds whom? Were it completely about talent, these two teams would have won their divisions, no?With their bid for another championship slipping from their grasp in Game 4 Saturday night, the Giants channelled whatever fortitude they could muster and tied the World Series at two wins apiece when they rallied from three runs down and steamrolled the Royals 11-4. Our post-Thanksgiving program (Canadian Thanksgiving, that is) features two great Canadian acts from different ends of the stylistic spectrum.
Victoria Banks is fresh off the release of Indigo, her third studio album, a collection of songs stemming from bare-bones midnight recording sessions in her attic. In addition to her own multi-award-nominated releases, Banks is a staff songwriter at Nashville’s RareSpark Media Group with a catalogue that includes hits for the likes of Sara Evans, Jessica Simpson, One More Girl, Doc Walker, and Johnny Reid
As for The Meds, the PEI-based rock outfit has been touring the country on the back of their debut full-length, South America. Theirs is a sound that blends easily-accessible mainstream rock with a folky, poetic vocal style and plenty of substance. The album was co-produced by Matt Mays and Colin MacDonald of The Trews.

Real Talk Live 216 wants to know this evening Does The Justice & Health System Really Work. Does the Justice and Health system operates fairly or not fairly enough? Does the Justice System applies to everyone including the government, the banks, the cops, and even our own politicians or does the justice system picks and choses who it applies laws and punishment to? Should we be judge by our peers or should the justice system and even the the health system be redefined?
When we look over the landscape of America we see over crowded prisons, poverty rate increasing over 54%, plea bargaining being done in and out of the courts but as we look deeper into the justice system we hear the phrase innocent until being proven guilty. Some people have even argued that the justice system worries about costs compared to finding the real truth for a person on trial.
So this evening Real Talk Live 216 is making their studio a court room where our special studio guest Judge Anita Laster Mays from the Cleveland Municipal Court will be our presiding judge. ALL RISE COURT IN NOW IN SESSION!
