Special guest: Dane Wigington has an extensive background in solar energy. He is a former employee of Bechtel Power Corp. and was a licensed contractor in California and Arizona. His personal residence was featured in a cover article on the world’s largest renewable energy magazine, Home Power. He owns a 1,600-acre “wildlife preserve” next to Lake Shasta in northern California.
Dane focused his efforts and energy on the geo-engineering issue when he began to lose very significant amounts of solar uptake due to what ever-increasing “solar obscuration” caused from the aircraft spraying. He also noted significant decline in forest health and began testing and research into the geo-engineering issue about a decade ago.
Dane is the lead researcher for http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org and has investigated all levels of geo engineering from chemtrails to HAARP. He assisted Michael Murphy with his production of “What in the World are They Spraying” and has appeared on an extensive number of interviews to explain the environmental dangers we face on a global level. He lives in Mt. Shasta, California.

Since Obama first stepped on the national stage, pundits have fallen all over each other in a race to declare that Obama is special type of genius. Tom Shales of the WaPo called Obama "the smartest kid in the class." Billionaire Julian Robertson claimed, "Obama, from all I read, thinks that on every occasion that he is the smartest person in the room. "

Almost 70 percent of black children are born to single mothers. Those mothers are far more likely than married mothers to be poor, even after a post-welfare-reform decline in child poverty. They are also more likely to pass that poverty on to their children. Sophisticates often try to dodge the implications of this bleak reality by shrugging that single motherhood is an inescapable fact of modern life, affecting everyone from the bobo Murphy Browns to the ghetto “baby mamas.” Not so; it is a largely low-income—and disproportionately black—phenomenon. The vast majority of higher-income women wait to have their children until they are married. The truth is that we are now a two-family nation, separate and unequal—one thriving and intact, and the other struggling, broken, and far too often African-American. Who is going to bail out Main Street – and when?
As we approach the midterm elections and look forward to 2016, my only question is this: “Who is going to bail out Main Street, and when?” The crash of 2008 sent the vast majority of Americans into a financial tailspin. As reported in the NY Times in March of 2009, “For the full year, household wealth dropped $11.1 trillion, or about 18 percent.” The next biggest annual decline in wealth came in 2002, when household net worth fell a measly 3%!
Of course, those too-big-to-fail Wall Street institutions got their bailout courtesy of their “bought-and-paid-for” DC minions. And thanks to substantial subsidies and low interest rate loans, within three quarters, corporate profits were already above pre-crash levels. Meanwhile, there was, and still is no help in sight for the victims of the Wall Street Schemers and the Off-shoring Mega-corps. Or is there?
Tonight on Press for Democracy, we want to hear who you think, if anyone cares enough not just to campaign on (a.k.a. lie like every elected politician in the past decade), but actually pursue policies to help get Middle-Class Americans back on their feet. And as always, if you can’t make the show, please leave your feedback here and we’ll read you into the record.
