March To May’s Darren Guyaz (guitar, vocals, keyboard) and Beth Wesche (Celtic harp, vocals)first met in December 2012. By March 2013, the folk/indie/Americana duo had co-written their first two songs, by April they had a paid gig under their belts, and by May they had a name and shows booked out into the months ahead. Before settling in Seattle, Washington, where the act is now based, both Darren and Beth had traversed the Western Hemisphere separately. Darren migrated from the northern Appalachians to his birth-state of Montana, before heading on a SouthAmerican adventure across the Andes mountain range, eventually falling in love with Seattle andthe Pacific Northwest. The daughter of a US Foreign Service Officer, Beth also spent time in theAndes, as well as a host of US states on both coasts, before moving to Seattle, just blocks fromwhere her beloved Celtic harp had been created, years before. The duo has drawn comparisons to acts like The Civil Wars, Damien Rice, the Swell Season, The Banner Days, and Robert Plant andAlison Krauss. The Water’s Edge is the debut release from March To May, out April 25th, 2015.For more information, visit www.marchtomay.com.

Join us this week as we welcome country music singer songwriter, Eric Karge. Eric was voted Maryland’s “2014 Country Music Artist of the Year” during the first-annual Maryland Music Awards recently held at Rams Head Live in Baltimore. Karge, who is from small town Preston, MD., was nominated in three categories including “Country Artist of the Year”, “Songwriter of the Year”, and “Breakout Artist of the Year”. Fans placed Karge in the top five for the three categories. In 2012, Karge released his debut EP titled “Small Town Night”. The EP features six from-the-heart original songs including “Small Town Night”, written about the town in which he grew up; “Irrigation from God”, inspired by the costly need for crop irrigation; “Hell Yeah”, a single inspired by meeting country artist Brantley Gilbert. Karge also wrote several meaningful songs including “If That’s What it Takes”, a tribute to his Marine brother Robbie and fellow members of the Marine Corps. Karge is currently working with Producer Dick Hodgin on a new military tribute album recording at Osceola Studio's in Raleigh, NC. The new album is scheduled to be released spring 2015. We will talk to Eric about his upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at his music, feature his latest songs, and ask him to share his message for the troops. Please be sure to visit Eric Karge at http://erickarge.com/ and spread the word. Fans are welcome to call in and speak live with with Eric during the show (718) 766-4193. Y aknow that voice you cannot stop listening to? The one that just makes you sigh and shiver at the same time? That voice? That voice is Kevin Sandbllom...What? You did not know I adore him? Now you do...Join us Sunday as I sit a spell and get nosey with the wonderful wonderful Kevin Sandbloom....
Kevin Sandbloom is a man who knows a little bit about rebirth and new beginnings. Throughout his career, he has continually reinvented himself. First he was a member of cover bands and then he did an extended stint with the popular Southern California band The Congregation. But, perhaps his most intriguing transformation has been as a traveling solo artist who wows crowds from Boston to St. Louis to his native Los Angeles.
Seven full-length albums and an EP under his belt, he is currently touring and promoting his latest recording, STILL BLUE [Sandbloom sings Joni], a complete cover of Joni Mitchell’s Blue. He has performed on stages as diverse as Poetry N Motion in London, England to Nuyorican Poets Cafe in New York to Berklee College of Music in Boston to B.B. King's Blues Club in Los Angeles and is a fixture at music and poetry venues across the U.S. He brings a fresh sound to an industry weaned on Auto-tune without being retro or dated.
Regarded as a songwriter at the top of his game, he wrote the title track for Grammy-nominated guitar legend Robben Ford’s Supernatural album. He has also contributed music to many independent films including Laurence Fishburne’s directorial debut, Once in the Life and he had a featured appearance on the ABC Family series “Lincoln Heights.
Tonight, we're previewing another new/retro collection of Dr. Walter Martin recorded during his Sunday Bible Class at the Melodyland Christian Center in Anaheim, California. Can a Christian marry the wrong person? Is it a sin to use instruments in worship? Who should have teaching authority in the church? And does the Bible actual include a manual for practical Christian living?
Sharp, funny, and powerful, the Original Bible Answer Man pulls zero punches--sharing his thoughts and timeless biblical truths.
Join me on Sunday, April 26th at 2pm EST as I talk with author, Christian Jensen. His upcoming release, the first one with Booktrope, is certain to indulge your dark cravings. Lone Survivor is about Bigfoot, who turns into a zombie, and a single man who just might save the day. His works as a horror and thriller author have been called grueling as well as dark and demented. He's also a co-author of several books with me including Toxic Leash, I Like to Watch, The Darkness Within, Believe in the Dark Man and Beauty and Rage - all to be released in the upcoming months with Booktrope.
We'll no doubt have a lively discussion about his writing talent, the crazy things that make his warped mind tick and other delicious topics.
