"Benita Washington…commands Gospel...a gift to her genre." -RHAPSODY
Benita Washington is one of the finest contemporary gospel singers to emerge in recent years, bursting onto the scene in 2004 with her debut release “Hold On,” which hit multiple slots on the Billboard charts in its first week including number six on Top Gospel Albums, received a Soul Train Lady of Soul nomination for Best Gospel Album, and the lead single, “Thank You” reached number three on the gospel radio charts; remaining there three consecutive weeks.
With a fresh wind of the anointing blowing in her life, Benita Washington remains busy, making appearances across the nation. A woman who has worn many hats, Benita has added the hat clinician and has launched the #evolve seminar; mentoring and training worship leaders and worship teams across the country and soon the world! You can catch her touring around the world and teaching as well as supporting the ministries of both CeCe Winans and Pastor Donnie McClurkin as a background vocalist.

After a few guest-less weeks, we've come back with a bang! The anticipation has been building and Raw Sex has been trying a million different formats to please all of it's listeners. We released a new logo, had two weeks without our main man, had lots of wonderful call ins and our favorite is the live tweets during the show!
I figured this episode didn't need a big title, the name speaks for itself! Our guest this week is an adult film star, sex positive advocate, educator, speaker, and gorgeous! Nina Hartley isn't new to the adult film scene, having her first video debut in 1984, so we decided to take this interview on a different path. Instead of asking the same ol questions like "what's your favorite position" or "who would you love to work with" Raw Sex wants to know the intimate vanilla side of Nina, what's her favorite color? Tea or Coffee? Obama or Clinton? McDonalds or BurgerKing? Tune in Thursday night to find out the answers to these questions and so many more, right here ONLY on Raw Sex!
Formed in the mountains of northern Afghanistan, The Gillis Silo evolved from the friendship of classically trained piano player Ben Vige and life-long Singer/Songwriter Caleb Paul who met in the United States Army and served overseas together in Kabul from 2012-2013. Ben and Caleb called upon accomplished and experienced Baton Rouge musicians Jordan Snyder, Jared Daigle, and Karl Boudreaux upon their return home to carefully construct their alternative rock infused country sound.
Since the band's first performance in January 2014, The Gillis Silo has made waves throughout the U.S. with their own brand of music that fans have dubbed "Country on the Rocks". They have had the privilege of sharing the stage with Florida Georgia Line, Eli Young Band, Trace Adkins, Aaron Lewis, Jana Kramer, and Chris Young, and they have an upcoming concert with Easton Corbin in August.
Their single, She's My Hurricane, is in rotation in major radio markets throughout the South and their debut music video was recently picked up by CMT.
In July 2014, The Gillis Silo performed at Country Explosion in Tooele, Utah. They have played iconic venues throughout the South including The Varsity Theatre, The Howlin' Wolf, The Shed BBQ & Blues Joint, Hard Rock Cafe, and the House of Blues.
Their much anticipated debut EP is set for release late summer 2014.
The Gillis Silo proudly endorses and is sponsored by Pearl Drums, Spector Basses, Warmoth Guitars, and Soxfords.

in The Bible
As the Church, it our responsibility to release on the earth what has been established Heaven. There is warfare over the destiny of the U.S. Virgin Islands, especially St.Croix. This primary election is key to the establishing of God's purpose in the territory. Prophetic declarations, decrees and proclamations shall be released over the land. Then watch God move.

Marlene Banks I am a novelist with a vivid imagination and passionate admiration of the well written word. My love of Jesus, The Christ and rich storytelling has produced an eager wordsmith-gone-wild. To write for the Kingdom is a humbling honor that I do not take lightly. I love writing tales that demonstrate God's hand in our lives. I get a great deal of satisfaction crafting stories that explore the psychology of why people are who they are and do what they do. I can make it simple and uncomplicated or complex and multilayered but I usually weave relational plots that engage the natural with the spiritual.
