That's Novel Interviews Authors Ellie Keys and Samantha Chase

    in Books

Ellie Keys is an author of contemporary romance, paranormal romance and mystery. She spends a great deal of her time lending her unrelenting pen to the voices that have taken over her mind. The characters that readers will find in her works have a demanding nature. Ellie is thrilled to be able to share the stories from the wealth of works that she has created. Her loves outside of writing are reading a good book and losing herself in a great movie. Inspiration comes from everything around her. She invites you to follow her on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest or look her up on her website: authorelliekeys.wix.com/novelist She can also be found on Amazon at:  http://amzn.to/1RFysg3

New York Times and USA Today Bestseller/contemporary romance writer Samantha Chase released her debut novel, Jordan's Return, in November 2011. Although she waited until she was in her 40's to publish for the first time, writing has been a lifelong passion. Her motivation to take that step was her students: teaching creative writing to elementary age students all the way up through high school and encouraging those students to follow their writing dreams gave Samantha the confidence to take that step as well.

When she's not working on a new story, she spends her time reading contemporary romances, playing way too many games of Scrabble or Solitaire on Facebook and spending time with her husband of 25 years and their two sons in North Carolina. http://amzn.to/1KGeJFo

Author-Actor-Host Danny Gardner on creativity LIVE on Authors on the Air

    in Books

Danny Gardner impressed audiences with his performance on the 3rd season of HBO’s Def Comedy Jam (All-Stars Vol. 12). He has enjoyed a career as an actor, director and screenwriter. He is a recent Pushcart Prize nominee for his creative non-fiction piece Forever. In an Instant., published by Literary Orphans Journal . His work has appeared in Beat to a Pulp, Out of the Gutter and Noir on the Air. His debut novel, A NEGRO AND AN OFAY. He lives in Los Angeles and originally hails from Chicago. Danny is also the one of the rotating hosts on NOIR ON THE RADIO in the Authors on the Air Global Radio Network. From Danny: " When I was first learning how things work in published fiction, I made note of behavior. I’m a multi-talent with a delivery that can easily fill the room; however, the readings I attended seemed like sober affairs and no place for a ham. An author is introduced and then reads from his or her own work, which is normally followed by a polite Q&A session. Books are signed and attendees disperse. To this old performer, it’s rather straightforward and appropriate, as it’s a lot to ask someone to take a chance on a book."
