Do you ever feel stressed? That's a pretty ridiculous question nowadays, right? Of course you're stressed. Stressed about work, stressed about bills, stressed about whether you'll have enough (fill in the blank). So, what's the difference between stress and anxiety? God said, "Don't be anxious for anything." Stress, believe it or not, can actually be a good thing. Listen this week as Dr Pauline and Catherine talk about the differences between stress and anxiety and what God's Word has to say about it.
As always, we welcome your comments and questions through Facebook (Dunamas Center Ministries), and Twitter (@YourDunamasLife).
Watch for Dr Pauline's new book, "Won't Somebody Please Hear Me? Healing from Birth Traumatomology Syndrome"...Coming THIS MONTH!

Excitement and anxiety are two different things. Many of us end up in anxiety producing situations, whether it is a relationship, a situation or just figments in our own minds. We make decisions based on this anxiety and for many f us when we feel it we always try to associate it with something in our lives producing unhappiness.
It is not always about a situation. It is really a multi-causal interpretation of events and a state inside. Join me to learn what the heck I am talking about--so you can have more control over your own emotional perspectives.
When human beings stop repeating history in their own lives, anxiety will cease, even if it is still playing out in society on a larger scale. Fear runs most of us and anxiety is often a harbinger of some imagined future fate, whether it is in our personal relationships, careers or what we believe the world is coming to (and hey--just read a history book)...we think we know, but anxiety usually tells us something is uncertain, or that we lack control.
Learn about it and what you can do immediately to have it move out of the driver's seat of how you feel each day to how you perceive and make decisions both personally and professionally.
Harry Kroner the author of "Freedom from Anxiety: A deeper approach to healing." will talk to us about how to free ourselves from anxiety. His book is based on his experience helping hundreds of people heal from anxiety. In the program today he will discuss his unique method of healing. He will share the common challenges people who suffer from anxiety face. And bring insight on the four phases of healing from anxiety.

Apologies for last week's show, apparently an ongoing issue with the technology, according to Blog Talk engineers, so please tune in and we'll do our best to provide a whole show. :)
Picking up where I left off this last week from Anxiety And Control; Moving On To A Different Perspective to this week.
I will be adding in the element of emotional unavailablity--yours, mine and ours; even when we think we're not, often we are very EU. Shed awareness on who you attract and the situations in your life, which are plain painful. Learn to stop.
See how anxiety can keep you in a vicious loop of not letting go of a painful situation, but where your decisions don't feel good.
Our emotional unavailability limits our choices, we hide rather than come out in full frontal openness. We end up in anxiety producing situations, whether it is a relationship, a situation or just figments in our own minds.
I will be sharing the tips on getting out of the anxiety loop (which were not shared last week) and into being in control of your emotional state, so you will feel a greater degree of availability, freedom and inner wisdom around your choices.
Who wouldn't want to get anxiety under control?
And who wouldn't want to experience life on a deeper, greater plain?
Want love, commitment and a life you feel good inside about? Then check out this show.
How to talk to children about anxiety?
How can we support kids who have a anxiety? He has experience counseling adults, children, and adolescents. He earned his Masters in Mental Health Counseling in 2015, and has focused his studies on psychological trauma. He is a veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan, and is interested in how individuals can find resilience in response to trauma and anxiety. He will help us understand how we can help children be Freakishly Well-Behaved. There might even be some things we can learn and use too. BONUS!
Author, Professor, Mental Health Counselor, Play Therapist, International Speaker, & Mom-- Dr. Mullen has learned from the thousands of children she has worked with insights and actions necessary for parenting that will lead to the behavior and attitude changes you are looking for with your children.
If you are willing to learn, listen, grow, and work hard at this, your results will be nothing short of miraculous! You can have Freakishly Well Behaved Kids too! Remember to check out NAUGHTY NO MORE an activity book to help kids make better decisions. When kids feel good, they behave that way!
One of the big issues I constantly hear with people suffering with PFS is the terrible feeling that accompanies it. So many are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression and even suicidal thinking. What can you do about it when you are in those bouts of low level moods.
Find out how one person who has PFS is handling it. I'll be sharing my stories, and how I have "coped" with some of the anxiety, panic attacks and low moments.

Post-finasteride syndrome is a devastating condition that afflicts men who’ve taken finasteride for hair loss (under the Propecia brand) or enlarged prostate (Proscar). Persistent symptoms include loss of libido, erectile dysfunction, depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, panic attacks, Peyronie’s disease, penile shrinkage, gynecomastia, muscle atrophy, cognitive impairment, insomnia, severely dry skin, and tinnitus. Many victims suffer economic hardship due to job loss, and emotional distress due to the breakup of marriages and romantic relationships. PFS has also been linked to suicides. No one knows how many men are living with PFS, but experts estimate there are hundreds of thousands of cases worldwide. While there’s currently no cure for PFS, clinical research offers hope that effective treatments will be developed in the coming years. Until then, “PFS Global Support,” hosted by Amir Karkouti, is here to provide a weekly gathering place where victims and their loved ones can share information and offer mutual support.

In James 4:7, we are told to resist the devil and he will flee from us. But it's not that simple; in the same verse, we are also told to draw near to God. Dealing with temptation is a two fold process of resisting the devil and drawing near to God. The closer you get to God and the more you become aware of His love, the less power temptation will have over you.
James 4:7, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (The context of those verse is clearly speaking of temptation).

I will be discussing depression, bipolar and anxiety disorders on this episode. Any of these disorders can be caused by a chemical imbalance related to neurotransmitters in the brain. This disorders can also be caused by something that has occurred in one's life. Depression and anxiety seem very prevalent in today's society including bipolar depression. We live in a very fast paced society. We get stressed and anxious over the lack of money. We also get depressed when our personal relationships aren't working out. Times have changed a lot and I get many psychic questions regarding love relationships and career.
I think we need to discuss the symptoms that we are experiencing more and I feel that this show is going to be beneficial to just that. We need to get these feelings out and get to the root of the problem. Then we can start to recover. We can start the recovery process.
