"The Echo From Dealey Plaza, Part II" -- With JFK S. S. Agent Abraham Bolden

    in Politics Progressive

Your host, Bob Kirkconnell is thrilled that we are able to have JFK Secret Service Agent Abaham Bolden on the program again!  Bob will introduce him and then Abraham will share some of his experiences and insights.  Questions from Bob and callers will follow.

Abraham was the first African American Secret Service Agent on the Presidential detail.  He joined the JFK detail in 1961.  After the assassination, he disclosed a Chicago plot to assassinate JFK and also racism, and serious security short comings in the Secret Service.  What happened to him is the subject of this show and we are honored to have Abraham on the program!  Listeners are encouraged do some research ahead of time.  Below is a review of his book: The Echo From Dealey Plaza.

    From Publishers Weekly

Conspiracy theories haunt the Kennedy assassination; Bolden offers a new one, concerning discrimination and evidence suppression. Becoming, in JFK's words, the Jackie Robinson of the Secret Service, Bolden joined the White House detail in 1961. Already beset by racism (he once found a noose suspended over his desk), his idealism is further shattered by the drinking and carousing of other agents. Soon after the assassination, he receives orders that hint at an effort to withhold, or at least to the color, the truth. He discovers that evidence is being kept from the Warren Commission and when he takes action, finds himself charged with conspiracy to sell a secret government file and sentenced to six years in prison, where both solitary confinement and the psychiatric ward await. That there was a conspiracy to silence him seems unarguable, but Bolden's prose is flat; so is his dialogue. This story is more enthralling than Bolden's telling of it, but the reader who sticks with it will enter a world of duplicitous charges and disappearing documents fit for a movie thriller...

    in Travel

    Hello,

Welcome to A Theory of Parenting on Blogtalkradio.com

    My name is Tammi Joyner

I am your Host for the Show

Today we are live from 825 8th ave between 49th and  West 50th Street, Two Worldwide Plaza is a post-war skyscraper.  The 39-floor building in Midtown West was completed by William Zeckendorf Jr. in 1989. Today, it is part of a three-building design that stretches an entire block between 8th and 9th Avenue from 49th to 50th Street.

The building's postmodern exterior is perhaps one of the most remarkable building features. The old-fashioned brick is modernized by a copper roof and glass pyramid at the top. At certain times of the day, the sun hits the sleek rows of windows to the point that the facade shines like metal. Terraces abound in the majority of the 455 apartments, each equipped with granite countertops in modern kitchens, marble baths, and 11-foot ceilings.

The interior garden courtyard reserved for residents is matched with the mid-block public plaza housing a diverse array of greenery as well a fountain with elaborate statues, and a nearby cafe.

Live Coverage of Protest/Petition Kick Off In Tulsa Oklahoma

    in Politics

    323-870 4626
    Description of event:
"We are hosting this rally for citizens to sign the petition to remove Sheriff Glanz through a Grand Jury process. We will be at the courthouse plaza for 12 hours (8am to 8pm).   Starting at 7pm we will start our Rally/March down to the Sheriff's office. Come join us, we will have speakers, performers, and think-tank sessions throughout the day. "

We will have live coverage of the event from those participating .  Please join us in the discussion of "What can we do to effect change in the world of injustice ? "  We have a answer. I believe what is happening in Tulsa at this moment in time - can be duplicated in other cities. This is a workable model. Have a problem with your police/sheriff department in your city ? Take note at what is happening peacefully in Tulsa with expediated results. I am fond of a quote by Lincoln - "Truth is the best defense"   Find that truth in evidence and expose it to the light of a grand jury. It works.

    ...

I am originally from Indiana and migrated to Florida in 1980

I did not pursue my career as a medium until after I finished raising my family and finished my Postal career. Then and only then did I pursue my passion, doing readings to help people, as I could not deny my true self any longer

I have always had my ability and it has been increasing in strength the more I use it.

So, in the year 2003, I began my Mediumship, first, with only the use of the Tarot, this lead to my realizing I didn t need to use the cards only, the intuitive side took over. This lead to my being able to give "Messages from departed loved ones, enhanced my ability for "Psychometry", which is the holding of an object of yours or someone else, and I pick up from the vibration of the object. Let s not forget out "Four Legged Friends", they also have something to say
