SORT BY Relevancy
Deadbeat parents are those who have been ordered by the Family law courts to pay child support monies of an unspecified amount, to the custodial parent (One who has custody of the child), but he/she is refusing to follow the order. Even when they have the financial means to do so. Question, Are you a custodial parent who's dealing with this problem in your life? Do he/she have the financial means of providing for their child/children, but still refuse to do so? Or are you a listener who would like to weigh in on this heated topic?... Well, the queens would love the opportunity to hear your story, or get your feedback, right here in the playhouse!!! "See you there"!!!!

Have you ever been suspicious that the person you are dating is more interested in your money than in you? If you are concerned about this and want to find out, here are some ideas to accomplish this and protect yourself before it is too late. Understand what a gold digger is, and is not. There's nothing wrong with a person being concerned about your financial stability. A long-term partnership means depending on each other through the ups and downs, and being financially reliable does help with that to a degree. The difference between a gold digger and someone who values your role as a provider is that the gold digger would deride and perhaps leave you if you lost your ability to provide for them financially. A good person can appreciate your financial resources, but a gold digger appreciates only that, and will not see the relationship as worthwhile if you're not well off.
Dead Beat Dad. There are fewer pariahs more deeply loathed by society at large than the deadbeat dad, the fully-grown man, who, having had his fun, abandons his responsibilities. And the numbers of men who pay little or no child support has always been staggering. The most disadvantaged dads end up looking like they’re completely distanced from their kids but they’re actually giving quite a lot. Why do dads prefer to buy stuff for their kids, rather than give money to the kids’ moms? Because they get more recognition for these acts from their children.

MEN If you give them an inch, they’ll take a mile. But, if you put us on a leash, they’ll gnaw it off and go even more crazy once there free. There’s a fine balance between loving your man and smothering your man. There are countless posts online where women complain about their deadbeat boyfriends for never paying for anything, never buying them gifts, always playing video games all day long while still living at home in their parents basement, and never holding on to a job for more than a year to save their lives. Yet, these women still latch on, hoping they’ll one day change their man for the better.
THE REASONS WHY WOMEN GO OUT WITH DEADBEATS
Settling for a deadbeat loser is like settling for a job you hate. There are way too many people who hate their jobs and keep on doing them, just like there are way too many women who settle for men who treat them poorly. What is it about non-ideal situations which makes us keep carrying on, doing nothing to change?
My theory is that in the beginning, most women don’t know the guy is a deadbeat loser. He probably is reasonably attractive and tells a good story about his current situation and his ambitions. Obviously, he will be on his best behavior during the wooing process. It might take one week, or it might take many months, but until a consummation is made, guys can be very charming! By the time a woman hooks up with the guy, only afterward will she see his true colors.
the revolution of the mind continues....
The WYMS countdown to Father's Day continues... The war on the Black man as a "deadbeat" father continues to wage psychological damage on our community even in the face of conflicting evidence.
Tonight we debate how the mindset changed... Was it feminism? Family court laws and the trap of court ordered child support? Or was it our own actions? Who do we put a case on... But more importantly how do we get back our image and our righteous minds?
Won't be home? No problem. Text "WYMS" to 63000 and get the listen in number sent to your phone 5 minutes to showtime.

SPONSORED BY MARK PITTMAN--Single parenthood is on the rise. It's quite possibly one of the biggest contributing factors to the lack of confidence, misguided, and angry youth of today. No, single parenthood in itself is not to blame, but the usual circumstances of abandonment that created the one-parent household are. Both genders are equally guilty of child abandonment, and both are guilty of being the supportive domestic partners/spouses of these deadbeat parents.
Part One of this two-part series focuses on the deadbeat fathers and the women who accept and support them knowing they don't provide for their children. Does this support help the problem or further enable the irresponsible behavior and mindset of the deadbeat parent? Join in tonight at 10:30 pm EST by calling 347-327-9967.

This episode will be a ratings breaker. Hear stories from parents who have left their children behind out of acts of selfishness. Also hear how abandonment has really effected the parent children relationships. Chime in on this discussion and voice your opinion on how you think we can tackle this matter of contention.
